Video Prediction Policy 2: Predict Better, Act Better

World action models (WAMs) have emerged as an important class of generalist robot policies, aiming to transfer video prediction priors to action learning. However, we find that existing WAMs frequently produce incorrect motion predictions in open-ended environment, leading to erroneous actions. We attribute this limitation to two factors: (1) base video models are not optimized for manipulation, and (2) naively incorporating action components into video models can substantially degrade their generalization capabilities. We introduce Video Prediction Policy 2 (VPP2), a WAM that enables strong zero-shot generalization in both video prediction and action generation. First, we curate a large-scale, diverse dataset of manipulation videos to continue pretraining the base video foundation model. We annotate video clips with detailed captions and perform \textit{event-level} video pretraining to promote generalization across open-ended manipulation tasks. Second, we post-train and distill the video model into a single-step visual planner with fixed prediction horizon. Finally, we introduce action module via a mixture-of-transformers (MoT) architecture to learn implicit inverse dynamics model. Experiments demonstrate three key results: (1) VPP2-14B outperforms Cosmos3-64B by 11.0\% points in video prediction instruction-following success rate on open-ended tasks; (2) VPP2 surpasses the strongest baseline by 18.5\% points in success rate on real-world zero-shot ALOHA manipulation tasks; and (3) following benchmark-specific post-training, VPP2 achieves the highest success rates among evaluated methods on the challenging LIBERO-Pro, LIBERO-OOD, and RoboDojo benchmarks.

From Speech Tokens to Stolen Voices: Attacker-Chosen-Text Speaker Impersonation via Representation Inversion

Ye Lu, Shen Wang, Runze Liu, Zhitao Ou, Haonan Huang, Yihan Yan, Fanghui Sun, Zhaoyang Zhang

Speech interaction systems have gradually evolved from traditional cascaded systems that use text as intermediate information to end-to-end speech language models that directly process speech representations. In some applications, the speech frontend runs on the user's device and sends speech representations to a remote server for inference, while the original audio remains local. However, these representations may still contain speaker identity information. If an attacker obtains them, it may use this information to imitate the user's voice, threatening their voice privacy. To investigate this risk, we propose \stia, a Speech Token Inversion Attack that generates speech with attacker-specified text in a victim's voice using a single short leaked representation, without access to the original audio or its transcript. Specifically, \stia converts discrete, continuous, or mixed speech representations into conditioning sequences and trains a conditional flow-matching speech generation model using pairs of different utterances from the same speaker in public speech datasets. The model combines speaker characteristics contained in the leaked representation with the specified text to generate speech in the victim's voice. Experiments show that, with a Moshi representation leak corresponding to 3 seconds of speech, \stia achieves an average CAM++ speaker cosine similarity of 0.78 and a target-text word error rate of 3.80\%. These results show that speech frontend representations reveal reusable speaker identity information and highlight the need to consider privacy risks when designing speech frontend representation methods.

IndustryNav: Evaluating Spatial Reasoning and Safety of Embodied Agents in Dynamic Industrial Navigation

Visual large language models (VLLMs) are increasingly used as embodied agents, yet industrial warehouses demand more than reaching a goal: agents must navigate safely around moving workers and vehicles. To evaluate embodied agents' goal reaching and safety, we introduce IndustryNav, a simulation environment with 24 warehouse scenes for closed-loop navigation to specified destinations. Alongside task success and efficiency, we introduce safety-aware metrics that capture collisions and near-collision warnings along each trajectory. Experiments with eleven leading open- and closed-source VLLMs and three navigation baselines show that agents can reach their goals yet collide with moving obstacles, exposing a gap between success and safe navigation. This gap matters in safety-critical settings, where a single collision can end the task. IndustryNav also supports policy learning through automated oracle trajectories and simulator interaction, with held-out scenes for generalization tests. These experiments show that policies can succeed on new routes in familiar warehouses yet fail to transfer to held-out layouts, making cross-scene generalization an open challenge.

MultiFinBen: Benchmarking Large Language Models for Multilingual and Multimodal Financial Application

Real-world financial analysis involves information across multiple languages and modalities, from reports and news to scanned filings and meeting recordings. Yet most existing evaluations of LLMs in finance remain text-only, monolingual, and largely saturated by current models. To bridge these gaps, we present MultiFinBen, the first expert-annotated multilingual (five languages) and multimodal (text, vision, audio) benchmark for evaluating LLMs in realistic financial contexts. MultiFinBen introduces two new task families: multilingual financial reasoning, which tests cross-lingual evidence integration from filings and news, and financial OCR, which extracts structured text from scanned documents containing tables and charts. Rather than aggregating all available datasets, we apply a structured, difficulty-aware selection based on advanced model performance, ensuring balanced challenge and removing redundant tasks. Evaluating 21 leading LLMs shows that even frontier multimodal models like GPT-4o achieve only 46.01% overall, stronger on vision and audio but dropping sharply in multilingual settings. These findings expose persistent limitations in multilingual, multimodal, and expert-level financial reasoning. All datasets, evaluation scripts, and leaderboards are publicly released.
