Models for physical AI tasks, such as robotics and autonomous driving, need not reason solely in language. They can use visual plans--points, bounding boxes, and trajectories--to represent spatial goals and anticipate motion. However, autoregressive vision-language models generate these plans one coordinate token at a time, making richer predictions increasingly costly. We introduce VFlash, a method for fast, accurate visual planning through Flash Primitive Decoding. VFlash exploits the known structure of visual primitives to predict their coordinates jointly, using a lightweight drafter that generates an entire primitive in one forward pass. The layout adapts to the primitive's type, dimensionality, and length, supporting compact boxes and long, variable-length trajectories. Crucially, spatial accuracy need not require reproducing an autoregressive model's exact token sequence. VFlash therefore trains on annotated primitives and directly accepts structurally valid predictions without target-token agreement. Across the evaluated 2D and 3D robot trajectory tasks, VFlash consistently reduces prediction errors relative to autoregressive decoding. Preliminary single-rollout measurements indicate approximately 25x faster generation for 3D point motion forecasting. A world action model conditioned on VFlash plans achieves 70.2% average success across four MolmoSpaces task suites, compared with 62.6% for the baseline.

High-fidelity diagram creation requires coordinated visual-spatial decisions over semantic topology, visual styling, and geometric layout. Existing methods face a representation gap: pixel-based generation offers limited object-level control, while code-based synthesis provides executable structure at the cost of intuitive manipulation. We introduce EvoDesign, an agentic framework for editable diagram creation through an intermediate canvas schema that is both machine-actionable and directly manipulable by users. EvoDesign first constructs a diagram manifest through coordinated structure, style, and layout agents, and then renders the manifest in a diagnostic verification environment. This environment produces objective defect signals and VLM-based critique, enabling localized refinement of the current diagram while also providing evidence for long-term design expertise evolution. The evolution mechanism distills refinement traces into a three-tier design expertise memory, where candidate strategies are linked to the verification evidence that supports them and are promoted into broader guidelines and principles only through repeated cross-context support. We further define CanvasBench, a canvas-recoverable benchmark and evaluation protocol with content, visual, and cognitive dimensions. Experiments across pixel, code-based, agentic, one-shot schema, and canvas-native methods show that EvoDesign provides the strongest overall balance across content fidelity, visual organization, and cognitive usability. Egocentric human video offers a scalable source of manipulation priors for robot learning, yet translating raw data scale into generalizable robot policies demands rigorous data curation and training recipes. We introduce Open-HumanWAM, the first fully open recipe for scaling egocentric pretraining to 50,000 hours, anchored by Open-HumanWAM-50K---a curated egocentric video corpus densely annotated with hand motion and natural language. Leveraging this corpus, we systematically investigate pure human pretraining via closed-loop simulation evaluations and uncover an empirical log-linear scaling law linking pretraining data hours to downstream robot success rates. Grounded in these findings, we develop HumanWAM-Vanilla, a world--action model pretrained exclusively on 50k hours of egocentric human video. Upon robot post-training, HumanWAM-Vanilla reaches 92.08% success on RoboTwin 2.0 Clean2Clean and 68.88% on Clean2Random, alongside a 14.17% mean success rate and a 19.00 mean progress score on RoboDojo. To push the capability frontier further, we explore joint human--robot pretraining with HumanWAM-Goal, a visual-goal-conditioned world--action model. Hybrid data scaling unlocks broad zero-shot generalization across both simulation and physical benchmarks, propelling post-trained RoboTwin 2.0 performance to new state-of-the-art levels: 92.70% on Clean2Clean and a substantial leap to 84.60% on Clean2Random. On physical robots, HumanWAM-Goal further exhibits emergent embodied in-context learning, dynamically adapting its manipulation behavior to unseen visual goals without parameter updates. To support reproducible scaling research in embodied AI, we open-source the Open-HumanWAM-50K corpus, data curation and pretraining pipelines, alongside the pretrained and post-trained HumanWAM checkpoints, inference code, and simulation evaluation suites.

Text-to-image (T2I) systems serve users across languages and cultural contexts. However, evaluations of cultural representation focus mainly on recognizable elements such as landmarks, clothing, and activities, overlooking the cultural values that generated images convey. To bridge this gap, we introduce VisionValueBench, a multilingual benchmark that operationalizes six of Hofstede's cultural value dimensions (e.g., individualism versus collectivism) to investigate how T2I systems frame neutral social situations through a particular cultural orientation. We find that value-neutral prompts, which admit diverse cultural interpretations, nonetheless yield images that favor particular value orientations, a phenomenon we call visual value leakage. We evaluate prompts varying in language and geographic cues across 960 social scenarios and six T2I configurations. Generated images consistently favor the same value orientations across all six dimensions, for example, equality over hierarchy (low power distance), individual autonomy over group obligation (individualism), and enjoyment over restraint (indulgence). Prompt language has limited influence on these orientations, whereas geographic cues shift some dimensions toward the associated cultural values while largely preserving the prevailing orientations. These findings reveal substantial homogeneity in the cultural values conveyed by T2I systems worldwide.

Humanoid rigging for modern characters with complex garments remains challenging due to the need for dense auxiliary skeletons and precise skinning control. Existing automatic methods primarily recover rigs from geometry, providing limited artist control over auxiliary articulation and often lacking explicit semantic or kinematic-chain structure for dense garment bones, leading to instability and weight bleeding. We present TailorRig, a framework that reformulates garment-aware humanoid rigging as a structured, controllable full-rig generation problem. This formulation shifts the goal from automatic rig recovery to artist-driven rig authoring, where both body-template compatibility and auxiliary articulation are explicit design choices. TailorRig exposes two explicit axes of artist control within a unified framework: a user-specified body skeleton template that preserves body-rig compatibility, and artist-provided semantic labels that drive an autoregressive generator to synthesize requested category-specific auxiliary bone chains. To robustly assign skinning weights under dense skeletal configurations, we further introduce a hierarchical chain-to-bone formulation: vertices are first associated to a kinematic chain, and bone weights are then refined within that chain, reducing weight bleeding between spatially adjacent but semantically unrelated structures. We evaluate TailorRig on a diverse set of characters and introduce Human-Mix, a large-scale dataset of over 38,000 humanoid models curated for garment-aware rigging. Experiments show that TailorRig improves skeleton accuracy, deformation stability, controllability, and practical usability over existing methods. Towards Scalable Diagnostic-Driven Whole-Slide Image Retrieval for Pathology Archives

原文摘要

The growing adoption of digital pathology has rapidly expanded collections of hematoxylin-and-eosin whole-slide images, yet efficient navigation through these archives remains challenging, as metadata is often inconsistent or unavailable. Content-based image retrieval addresses this challenge by identifying similar cases directly from visual representations instead of manual annotations or metadata. Existing retrieval systems have demonstrated promising performance but largely rely on handcrafted indexing pipelines and predefined sampling strategies, constraining scalability and generalization. Here, we present CLEAR-WSI (Constant-Length Embedding for Automatic Retrieval of Whole-Slide Images) as a scalable, diagnostic-driven slide-retrieval framework, validated on both public and clinical data. Using a fixed-length slide embedding, CLEAR-WSI refines retrieved candidates with either a predicted diagnostic label or the ground-truth label, depending on the retrieval setting. Newly processed cases are subsequently added to the expanding memory bank, allowing the retrieval archive to grow over time. On a comprehensive benchmark consisting of two public and one private clinical datasets representing four retrieval tasks, CLEAR-WSI improves Precision@5 over the strongest evaluated baseline, with gains on CAMELYON16 (3.10), BRACS-1 (2.75), BRACS-2 (1.95), and X-HER2 (3.75). Additional ablation and latency studies further examine the contribution of each component and highlight its potential for scalable deployment.

CMDiff: Left Atrial Scar Segmentation from 3D LGE MRI Using Conditional Mask Diffusion Model: A Feasibility Study

原文摘要

Late gadolinium enhancement (LGE) cardiac MRI enables non-invasive assessment of left atrial (LA) scar, an imaging marker associated with atrial fibrillation ablation outcome. However, automatic scar segmentation is hindered by low contrast, the thin atrial wall, scarce labels, and extreme class imbalance. Conditional diffusion offers iterative mask generation, but its suitability for sparse 3D LA scar segmentation remains unclear. To address this gap, we propose Conditional Mask Diffusion (CMDiff), which predicts clean masks using a dynamic-encoder-conditioned 3D sinusoidal UNet. We compared CMDiff with a deterministic baseline on identical cases in five-fold cross-validation of 60 scar-labelled public LASCARQS subjects, with 48 training and 12 held-out cases per fold. CMDiff achieved a scar DSC of 0.47 $\pm$ 0.08, HD95 of 12.89 $\pm$ 6.39 mm, and ASD of 1.91 $\pm$ 0.96 mm, compared with deterministic baseline values of 0.51 $\pm$ 0.08, 10.86 $\pm$ 5.39 mm, and 1.58 $\pm$ 1.03 mm, respectively. Under the same implementation, clean-mask prediction performed substantially better than the noise-prediction configuration evaluated in this study. Thus, CMDiff was technically feasible but did not improve segmentation performance: DSC was lower, and both HD95 and ASD were higher. Direct mask diffusion therefore provides an analytical alternative, but not a competitive performance advance for this task. The source code is publicly available at https://github.com/jizhang02/CMDiff.

OmniOPSD: Rationale-Privileged On-Policy Self-Distillation for Affective Computing

原文摘要

Multimodal large language models (MLLMs) have advanced affective computing by enabling nuanced reasoning over visual, acoustic, and linguistic evidence. A key approach to improving their generalization is outcome-based reinforcement learning, which converts existing label-level annotations into rewards for final-answer correctness. However, its sparse sequence-level supervision provides limited fine-grained guidance for interpreting multimodal affective cues and may reward correct labels even when those cues are misinterpreted. To address this challenge, we introduce OmniOPSD, the first on-policy self-distillation framework for omni-modal affective reasoning. At its core, OmniOPSD transforms label-level supervision into evidence-rich, teacher-only rationales by leveraging reference affective judgments as semantic priors for offline multimodal evidence elicitation from frontier MLLMs. Through rationale-privileged self-distillation, it couples on-policy student rollouts with dense, evidence-informed token-level supervision from a local self-teacher, allowing the student to learn along its own trajectories rather than imitate fixed reasoning traces. This decoupling of offline evidence acquisition from local policy learning enables training without additional human annotation, frontier-model logits, or online frontier-model calls, while preserving student-only inference from the original task input. At both 3B and 7B scales, OmniOPSD outperforms supervised fine-tuning (SFT) and group relative policy optimization (GRPO) in mean macro-F1 on both in-domain and out-of-domain evaluations. Among the compared models, it ranks first by MER-UniBench mean across all three input-modality settings, reaching 84.13 with audio--video--text input, and achieves the highest MME-Emotion recognition score (Rec-S) of 42.4.

MetricTrail: Revisiting the Power of Metric Depth and Local Optimization for Long-Sequence Streaming 3D Reconstruction

原文摘要

We present MetricTrail, a streaming system for accurate camera motion estimation and dense reconstruction from long monocular videos. To keep inference efficient over long sequences, we revisit DPVO's sparse local estimator. We find that single-image metric depth substantially improves its trajectory accuracy, without retraining the correspondence network or enlarging the optimization window. Metric predictions initialize patch depths and remain as soft constraints during optimization. We further improve correspondence estimation through learned adapters that augment matching features and recurrent context with frozen DINOv3 representations. The correspondence estimator and adapters are trained on diverse short clips without additional long-sequence training. This modular design also allows the depth provider to be independently upgraded and supports supplied camera intrinsics and calibrated stereo observations without retraining. Under the reported RGB-only protocols, MetricTrail achieves the lowest average trajectory error among evaluated methods on KITTI, Oxford Spires, and VBR. Pairing the estimated poses with single-image depth predictions also produces strong dense reconstruction on indoor and outdoor benchmarks and coherent reconstructions of in-the-wild videos. With supplied intrinsics, the system processes KITTI-02 at 12.70 FPS with 3.21 GB peak GPU memory.

Improving Long-Tail Detection via Layout-Instruction Conditioned Diffusion Synthesis

Xinyu Zhang, Xiaodi Wang, Yanpeng Sun, Lingfeng Yang, Jingdong Wang, Lingqiao Liu

原文摘要

Synthetic data from diffusion models can improve object detection, but long-tail performance is still limited by scarce rare classes and inflexible conditioning (e.g., text-only or layout-only inputs). In this paper, we propose Tail-SD, a layout-instruction conditioned stable diffusion framework that supports text, layouts, or their hybrid, enabling controllable synthesis from boxes, masks, and/or prompts to better cover the long-tail objects. To train a single model across heterogeneous conditions, we introduce a multi-task cross-attention module and multi-task embedding tokens, improving generation quality and diversity. Extensive experiments on COCO and LVIS demonstrate that diffusion synthesis with hybrid conditioning consistently benefits detection, e.g., on LVIS val, it achieves +4.89% / +5.68% rare Box/Mask AP, highlighting strong potential for addressing long-tail challenges.

Building age estimation based on widely available multi-source geospatial data

Jialu Sui, Hongsheng Zhang, Rui Liu, Jing Ling, Ruisheng Wang, Hao Wu, Gang Chen

原文摘要

Building age is fundamental for urban infrastructure safety, operation, and planning, as it directly affects structural safety, and sustainable development. Existing methods mostly rely on detailed building information such as street view, function, or materials, which are harder to obtain than geospatial data like satellite imagery and Digital Surface Models (DSMs). However, existing methods based on those geospatial data mainly rely on optical imagery and local texture features, limiting their ability to capture structural information and distinguish buildings from different periods. Moreover, the inherent temporal ordering among building age categories is often overlooked. To address these limitations, we propose the first deep-learning framework for multi-building age estimation using widely available multi-source geospatial data, including remote sensing data and their derived products, as well as building footprint information that estimates age at both pixel and instance levels within a unified pipeline. Specifically, a large pretrained backbone with fine-tuning adapters extracts representative features, and raster-derived and property-derived fusion modules support pixel-wise and instance-wise predictions. Pixel-level estimation employs a pyramid decoder with Cosine-guided Mixture-of-Experts (CMoE) to fuse multi-source raster data across scales, capturing fine-grained building age differences, while instance-level prediction uses attention pooling and Property-Conditional Adaptive Instance Normalization (PCAdaIN) to extract instance-level representations and integrate property attributes. A Temporal Ordinal Constraint Loss (TOCL) enforces the sequential ordering of predicted ages. We also construct a building age benchmark for Hong Kong to enable comprehensive evaluation. The source code and datasets are available at https://github.com/littlebeen/RS-buildingAge.git.

ActQuant: Sub-4-bit Action-Guided Backbone Weight-Only Quantization for Vision-Language-Action Models

原文摘要

Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models exhibit remarkable action generation for embodied intelligence, but their heavy compute make deployment on edge platforms impractical. Aggressive, sub-4-bit weight quantization is the natural solution, yet existing post-training quantization (PTQ) methods suffer severe performance degradation in this regime. To address this, we introduce ActQuant, an action-guided mixed-precision PTQ framework that operates in two stages: (1) an inter-tensor bit allocator that assigns each weight matrix a single bit-width based on how much it contributes to predicting the agent's actions; (2) an intra-tensor scale optimizer tunes per-block quantization scales using action-aware curvature, so that dynamic range is concentrated on the weights most influential for control. To deliver the on-device benefits of our aggressive quantization, we further introduce OmniModel.cpp, an agentic conversion pipeline that ports architectures into a native C/C++ runtime with efficient low-bit kernels. We evaluate ActQuant both in simulation and on a real-world 6-DoF UR3 arm, with all models deployed through OmniModel.cpp. On the LIBERO benchmark, ActQuant is the only method that operates at or below 3 bits-per-weight, retaining 95.0% on OpenVLA-OFT and 94.8% on $π_{0.5}$. Pushed further, ActQuant reaches 2.5 bpw at 90.1% on OpenVLA-OFT, compressing the backbone from 14.3 GB to 2.7 GB (5.3$\times$). On the physical UR3 arm, $π_{0.5}$ quantized with ActQuant retains the baseline's success rate while reducing the memory footprint by 2.5$\times$.

PSGAgent: Enhancing MLLMs' Dynamic Visual Perception for Panoptic Scene Graph Generation via Agentic Reasoning

Qingyun Liu, Yuankun Liu, Jiaye Feng, Jie Huang, Zonghong Dai, Haochen Li, Jingkun Wang, Weiping Li 等 9 位作者

原文摘要

Panoptic Scene Graph generation (PSG) requires holistic yet fine-grained reasoning over complex relations among objects. However, current Multimodal Large Language Models (MLLMs) applied to PSG suffer from a perception bottleneck: they function as static observers limited by fixed-resolution views. As a result, models often overlook critical relations involving small or peripheral objects and struggle to differentiate ambiguous predicates in complex scenes. To address these limitations, we propose PSGAgent, an agentic framework that enhances visual perception for PSG through a think-act-observe loop. PSGAgent allows MLLMs to dynamically refine their visual perception using two tools: a Region Zoom-In Tool for local exploration of small or boundary relations and a Visual Highlight Tool for relation-focused segmentation that filters out irrelevant contextual noise. To optimize decision-making, we construct a two-stage training pipeline. First, we create a high-quality, error-aware Multimodal Chain-of-Thought (M-CoT) dataset that provides robust supervision for cold-start learning. Then, we design a novel hierarchical reward mechanism integrated with Group Sequence Policy Optimization (GSPO) to enable strategic and adaptive tool usage. Extensive experiments on the PSG benchmark show that PSGAgent achieves SOTA performance, demonstrating strong capability in both holistic and fine-grained scene understanding.

FreePath: Neural Mean Free Path for Image Dehazing

Rongrong Gao, Jingxuan Feng, Wenyu Xu

原文摘要

Single image dehazing requires recovering scene radiance from visual responses that are weakened and veiled by participating media. Existing methods either invert explicit scattering variables, which can be unstable under complex scenes, or learn direct restoration mappings, which often discard the physical organization of haze formation. We present \emph{FreePath}, a neural mean free path framework for image dehazing. Instead of estimating atmospheric parameters, FreePath represents dehazing as feature space path state restoration, inspired by the expected distance a visual response can propagate before interacting with haze. Within a residual encoder and decoder, the Mean Free Path Residual Block learns path and collision fields to guide haze constrained correction, while FreePath State Conservation Integration preserves restored path states during deep feature aggregation. Experiments on paired CDD-11 haze images and real RTTS scenes show that FreePath consistently improves full reference fidelity, no reference perceptual quality, and visual faithfulness over representative dehazing baselines.

Can BEV Perception Gracefully Degrade under Sensor Failures?

Haifa Zhang, Yijing Wang, Zhiqiang Zuo

原文摘要

Despite the remarkable success of multi-modal bird's-eye view (BEV) perception in autonomous driving, standard fusion models can be highly brittle to sensor corruptions, causing catastrophic performance degradation. This vulnerability arises when corrupted features contaminate the shared BEV representation and the detector fails to preserve a usable visual fallback. To this end, we present Grace-BEV, a lightweight framework for robust fusion in Lift-Splat-Shoot (LSS)-based detectors. Operating in the aligned BEV space, Grace-BEV complements a LiDAR-guided image-BEV expert with a LiDAR-independent visual expert. A TrustGate Router learns a sample-level mixture of their outputs, while the FailSafe Fusion Block recalibrates the routed image representation together with raw LiDAR features. Furthermore, we devise a Three-Phase Training strategy with Modality Dropout to establish the visual fallback before learning routing and fusion, followed by joint fine-tuning. Extensive experiments on nuScenes-R and nuScenes-C across three LSS-based detectors show that Grace-BEV maintains robust performance across diverse corruption settings. Under complete LiDAR loss, where the corresponding baseline models exhibit a collapse to 0.0 mAP, Grace-BEV restores performance to as high as 34.7 mAP. It also improves clean accuracy by up to 1.4 mAP points with 1.2M additional parameters per detector. Component and training ablations support the complementary roles of visual initialization, expert routing, and adaptive fusion.

EgoKit: Towards Unified Low-Cost Egocentric Data Collection with Heterogeneous Devices

原文摘要

Egocentric video is increasingly used as a data source for robot learning, activity understanding, and embodied AI research, but collecting it at scale remains fragmented in practice: each candidate host device, such as an Android phone, iPhone, iPad, smart glasses, or extended reality (XR) headset, exposes a different SDK, a different policy on raw camera access, and different limitations on external USB cameras and on-device tracking. Synchronized ego-view and wrist-view capture is therefore typically obtained by either committing to a single proprietary platform or building one-off rigs that do not transfer across devices. To address this gap, we present EgoKit, a toolkit that exposes the same egocentric recording workflow across six heterogeneous host devices. Across all supported devices, EgoKit presents the same recording interaction and produces locally stored video with a uniform log format; on XR headsets, it additionally logs head pose and OpenXR-standard 26-joint hand tracking aligned to the video streams. The companion accessories, including two wrist cameras with mounts, a head strap, and a USB-C hub, add wrist-view capture to any supported host without custom hardware fabrication. To validate that EgoKit data can train robot policies, we replicated HumanEgo with 41 demonstrations recorded by EgoKit-PICO: in simulation, policies trained on 20 or 40 of them placed a cube on a tray in 60-74% of 100 unseen layouts, about as often as policies trained on Project Aria recordings of the same layouts. EgoKit is available at https://egokit.chuange.org/.

When Vision Overrides Language: Evaluating and Mitigating Counterfactual Failures in VLAs

Yu Fang, Yuchun Feng, Dong Jing, Jiaqi Liu, Yue Yang, Zhenyu Wei, Daniel Szafir, Mingyu Ding

原文摘要

Vision-Language-Action models (VLAs) promise to ground language instructions in robot control, yet in practice often fail to follow language faithfully. When presented with instructions that lack strong scene-specific supervision, VLAs suffer from counterfactual failures: they act based on vision shortcuts induced by dataset biases, repeatedly executing well-learned behaviors and selecting objects frequently seen during training regardless of language intent. To support systematic study, we introduce LIBERO-CF, the first counterfactual benchmark for VLAs that evaluates language following capability by assigning alternative, feasible task instructions under the same LIBERO scene layouts. Our evaluation reveals that counterfactual failures are prevalent yet underexplored across state-of-the-art VLAs. To mitigate these failures, we propose Counterfactual Action Guidance (CAG), a simple yet effective dual-branch inference scheme that explicitly strengthens language conditioning in VLAs. CAG combines a standard VLA policy with a parallel language-unconditioned branch, amplifying the difference between their action predictions induced by language instructions. This design reduces reliance on vision shortcuts, improves robustness on counterfactual tasks, and requires neither additional demonstrations nor modifications to the base VLA architecture or its pretrained weights. Extensive experiments demonstrate consistent improvements across diverse VLAs. On LIBERO-CF, our training-free variant, TF-CAG, improves $π_{0.5}$ by 9.7% in language grounding and 3.6% in task success. When using a separate Vision-Action (VA) module, VA-CAG achieves larger gains of 15.5% and 8.5%, respectively. In real-world evaluations, VA-CAG improves language grounding by 9.4% and task success by 17.2% on average.

Segment What It Can Draw: Querying a Text-to-Image Generator with Its Own Images for Skin Lesion Segmentation

Hongyu Cao, Guangfu Guo, Jinghan Zhang, Dakshak Keerthi Chandra, Ying Zhang, Kunpeng Liu

原文摘要

Skin lesion segmentation without annotated masks requires the target to be specified through other cues. Existing approaches rely on dermoscopy-specific rules, annotation-derived model priors, or user-selected regions. A general text-to-image diffusion transformer offers a text interface to the target, but its concept-word attention is unreliable on dermoscopy images: in the model's attention-output space, the word-derived skin-to-lesion direction is poorly aligned with the direction separating real skin from real lesions. We show that the direction derived from generated healthy-skin and lesion images is substantially better aligned. Based on this finding, we propose GENIQ, a training-free method that constructs initial skin and lesion prototypes from generated images and refines them using the most skin-like and lesion-like patches from unlabelled dermoscopy images. It scores test patches along the refined direction and applies a gated threshold to suppress contextual spill-over around small lesions. Without inference-time annotations or additional models, GENIQ achieves Dice scores of 0.85-0.88 on three dermoscopy test sets. It outperforms zero-shot and word-based attention methods on all three sets, and a hand-designed dermoscopy pipeline in Dice and IoU on two.

Existing caching methods accelerate sampling by skipping timesteps, yet their coarse approximations introduce accumulated errors over long skip intervals and degrade quality under aggressive acceleration. We propose TACache (Trajectory-Aware Cache), a training-free acceleration framework following a skip-then-compensate paradigm. TACache performs an orthogonal decomposition of discrete velocity acceleration along the RF trajectory into a parallel component and an orthogonal residual, isolating the magnitude and directional sources of per-step approximation error. The framework operates in two stages: offline, cumulative variation thresholds on the magnitude and direction indicators yield the skip schedule and bound how far each skip interval may extend; online, at each skipped step the offline statistics are combined with the sample's historical orthogonal direction to reconstruct the skipped velocity without additional model evaluations. Main comparisons on BAGEL, FLUX.1-dev, and Wan2.1-1.3B show that TACache achieves up to $4.11\times$ speedup on text-to-image generation and $2.11\times$ speedup on text-to-video generation, with consistent improvements over prior cache-based methods on most quality metrics. 原文摘要

We present a shared framework that adapts Cosmos world foundation models for real-time interactive world simulation in Physical AI. By streaming visual observations in response to actions and scene controls, the framework enables users and embodied agents to interact with evolving virtual environments. It supports both predicting the visual consequences of actions and generating observations from physical state maintained by an external simulator. We demonstrate this approach across camera navigation and robot manipulation, controllable video transfer, and multi-view autonomous vehicle (AV) simulation. These examples provide a shared foundation for developing interactive virtual environments for Physical AI training and evaluation. Exploring Sequence Feature Alignment for Domain Adaptive Detection Transformers

Wen Wang, Yang Cao, Jing Zhang, Fengxiang He, Zheng-Jun Zha, Yonggang Wen, Dacheng Tao

原文摘要

Detection transformers have recently shown promising object detection results and attracted increasing attention. However, how to develop effective domain adaptation techniques to improve its cross-domain performance remains unexplored and unclear. In this paper, we delve into this topic and empirically find that direct feature distribution alignment on the CNN backbone only brings limited improvements, as it does not guarantee domain-invariant sequence features in the transformer for prediction. To address this issue, we propose a novel Sequence Feature Alignment (SFA) method that is specially designed for the adaptation of detection transformers. Technically, SFA consists of a domain query-based feature alignment (DQFA) module and a token-wise feature alignment (TDA) module. In DQFA, a novel domain query is used to aggregate and align global context from the token sequence of both domains. DQFA reduces the domain discrepancy in global feature representations and object relations when deploying in the transformer encoder and decoder, respectively. Meanwhile, TDA aligns token features in the sequence from both domains, which reduces the domain gaps in local and instance-level feature representations in the transformer encoder and decoder, respectively. Besides, a novel bipartite matching consistency loss is proposed to enhance the feature discriminability for robust object detection. Experiments on three challenging benchmarks show that SFA outperforms state-of-the-art domain adaptive object detection methods. Code has been made available at: https://github.com/encounter1997/SFA.

原文摘要

Group Relative Policy Optimization (GRPO) has advanced generative model post-training in verifiable domains such as code and mathematics, but evaluating video quality, especially emotional expression, often depends on subjective aesthetics and has no uniquely correct target. Existing approaches typically rely on fixed rewards for visual quality, motion quality, and text alignment that poorly capture emotional intent and can invite reward hacking, while RLHF is difficult to scale and subject to individual aesthetic differences that complicate the calibration of facial, body motion, and chromatic cues across narrative contexts. We introduce EmoReward, a new self-evolving training mechanism that distills evidence reliability from reward traces collected during an actual training run to adaptively guide multi-reward weight allocation in subsequent training by determining which emotional evidence to trust and how much to weight it. EmoReward first plans specific grounding cues from the emotional prompt to guide evaluation, then uses heterogeneous signal primitives to score the generated video during the act stage. Reflective Reward Gating calibrates their contributions through instance-level gates for phase, face confidence, conflict, and subtlety, then renormalizes weights over the active set to produce the sample's fused reward. RewardMemory then estimates each primitive's reliability from rollout scores and outcomes within each emotional regime in the finished training run, then fixes bounded multipliers that calibrate fusion weights in the next training run without updating reward models. Experiments on HunyuanVideo 1.5 show improvements across multiple RL algorithms and compare EmoReward with other agentic reward methods under SAGE-GRPO. Ablations and transfer experiments on SD 3.5 and FLUX further support adaptive reward calibration for visual generation.

TOP: Transmission-Oriented Remote Sensing Pansharpening

原文摘要

Pansharpening has been extensively studied as a fundamental image fusion task in remote sensing. However, most existing methods focus on improving fusion quality under the implicit assumption that high-resolution observations have already been fully downlinked to the ground. As a result, existing models are highly vulnerable to perturbations introduced by lossy compression used for downlink transmission. To address this limitation, we present, to the best of our knowledge, the first transmission oriented pansharpening (TOP) framework, which unifies compact latent coding, onboard pansharpening, and efficient downlink transmission within a single satellite-toground pipeline. TOP encodes remote-sensing observations into a compact binary latent space, where a lightweight onboard fusion module can efficiently predict the fused binary latent code. Since only the compact fused code is downlinked, the transmission payload is substantially reduced. Overall, TOP enables low-payload downlink and lightweight onboard processing while maintaining high fusion quality under severe bandwidth constraints. Experiments across multispectral and hyperspectral settings show that TOP consistently achieves superior fusion quality at higher compression ratios than representative pansharpening methods paired with standard lossy codecs. For example, on GaoFen-2, TOP attains a fusion PSNR of 31.4 dB at a downlink compression ratio of 50x. This design also points toward transmissionoriented processing for other remote-sensing tasks. The code will be made available at https://github.com/JingZe-Liang/TOP.git.

UniLoop: Unified Loop Closure Detection from Retrieval to Geometric Verification and Relative Pose Estimation

Jingwen Yu, Pengyu Wang, Jin Wu, Weinan Chen, Ping Tan, Hong Zhang

原文摘要

Loop closure detection conventionally cascades separate models for global retrieval, geometric verification, and relative pose estimation, leading to redundant computation and disconnected visual representations. We propose UniLoop, a unified framework that reuses the hierarchical representations of the pretrained geometric foundation model throughout this pipeline. A shared image encoder produces features for compact global descriptors; the same features are passed to the cross-view decoder for pairwise verification; and the original geometric predictions provide relative camera constraints for pose-graph optimization. Experiments on place recognition, loop verification, and relative pose estimation show that UniLoop improves loop-closure robustness and accuracy while reducing redundant backbone computation relative to modular pipelines. UniLoop achieves the best Recall@10 on MSLS (96.6) and Pitts30k (99.3) among the compared methods, while its verification branch reaches 95.63 AP and 96.29 ROC-AUC, surpassing the existing geometric verification baselines.

原文摘要

Humans naturally possess the ability to work persistently toward long-term goals. Given a challenging task, humans can continuously work for months or even years to accomplish a specific objective. In this paper, we propose Marathoner, an autonomous agentic model possessing the ability of ultra-long-horizon execution. Specifically, we propose a comprehensive post-training pipeline to instill this critical capability into base model. For Ultra-Long-Horizon Task Synthesis, we leverage major release PRs containing 1000+ lines of new code from diverse GitHub repositories as the primary source for synthesizing challenging task-level data. Additionally, we introduce Multi-Task Chaining, which chains multiple generated tasks into a single more challenging task, enabling the synthesis of tasks with frontier-level difficulty. For rejection sampling finetuning, we combine strong teacher model with diverse harnesses to generate trajectories on our synthesized tasks and conduct supervised finetuning on base model with rejection sampled trajectories. For reinforcement learning, cold-started model performs real-world execution through harnesses in independent sandboxes during rollout process, effectively facilitating the acquisition of genuine ultra-long-horizon execution capability. We further propose a novel reward strategy, Later Stage Bonus Reward, which explicitly encourages model to perform meaningful maneuvers during later stages of execution. Through extensive evaluation on 5 benchmarks containing ultra-long-horizon tasks, Marathoner achieves consistent and substantial performance improvements over base model and even surpasses performance of strong proprietary model. Further analysis shows that Marathoner can consistently work for 10+ hours and conduct 1000+ tool calls on highly challenging tasks.

UniRestorer++: Scalable Universal Image Restoration with Multi-Granularity Degradation Modeling

原文摘要

Universal image restoration aims to handle diverse degradations within a single model, but a reliable scaling strategy remains underexplored. Increasing backbone depth and width can lead to performance saturation, while degradation-aware specialization depends on accurate degradation estimation and is vulnerable to errors on out-of-distribution and real-world inputs. We propose UniRestorer++, a scalable framework based on multi-granularity degradation modeling. It progressively refines degradation groups and introduces group-specific experts, coupling capacity growth with specialization. Degradation-estimation-based routing selects a root-to-leaf path, while granularity-estimation-based routing chooses a level along that path to balance specialization and robustness. Spatially dense degradation representation maps further enable region-aware routing for spatially non-uniform corruptions. We develop CDD-50, a benchmark covering 50 degradation categories from single to penta-degradation. Experiments show approximately log-linear PSNR trends over the evaluated model-size range and stronger scaling gains on out-of-distribution and real-world data than vanilla MoE scaling. UniRestorer++ achieves state-of-the-art performance across benchmarks and demonstrates zero-shot generalization and few-shot transfer on real-world images. Bridging the Modality Bottleneck in Pathology MIL through Molecularly Guided Feature Adaptation

原文摘要

Multiple instance learning (MIL) is the dominant framework for whole-slide image analysis in computational pathology, typically combining a frozen patch encoder, a projection layer, and a slide-level aggregator. While encoders and aggregators have been extensively studied, the projection layer remains a largely morphology-only bottleneck. This limits endpoints such as biomarker status and survival, which are governed by a molecular state that is not fully captured by H&E morphology. We introduce Molecularly Informed Staining Transform (MIST), a plug-in replacement for the MIL projection layer that uses paired spatial transcriptomics only during training to construct virtual molecular stains. MIST clusters gene expression profiles into cross-modal prototypes, anchors them in the frozen foundation model feature space, and uses them to reorganize H&E patch features along molecularly guided axes. It requires no transcriptomics at inference and can be inserted before standard MIL aggregators. We evaluate MIST across 23 downstream tasks and 8 MIL aggregators. MIST improves 240 of 256 configurations over the standard projection layer, with an average gain of +3.5%, observed consistently across endpoint types: +5.2% on survival prediction, +3.3% on tissue subtyping, and +2.6% on biomarker prediction. Ablations confirm that gene-derived prototypes are the primary source of the gains, while spatial, biological, and pathological analyses show that cross-modal prototype affinities capture spatially coherent molecular programs from H&E alone.

ChanSFormer: A Channel Agnostic Vision Transformer for Multi-Channel Cell Painting Images

Jingwei Zhang, Srinivasan Sivanandan, Dimitris Samaras

原文摘要

High-content multi-channel imaging, from Cell Painting assays to remote sensing, is central to modern scientific pipelines. Because these channels are highly heterogeneous and experimental configurations frequently evolve, a practical vision backbone must be fundamentally channel-agnostic. Current channel-adaptive vision transformers rely on global self-attention with learnable channel embeddings, which can be computed only for previously known channels. Attempts to overcome this limitation of new channels either discard the embeddings, losing channel identity, or process each channel independently, thereby eliminating critical cross-channel interactions. To address this, we introduce ChanSFormer, an efficient Vision Transformer that replaces rigid embeddings with disentangled spatial-channel attention and individual channel CLS tokens. This architecture natively preserves both distinct channel identities and cross-channel information flow. Furthermore, the individual channel class token design unlocks more informative feature representations for self-supervised learning and enables representation-based channel sampling while remaining channel-agnostic. We evaluate ChanSFormer on two biology multi-channel datasets, CHAMMI, JUMP-CP and a satellite dataset, So2Sat. Experimental results show that ChanSFormer outperforms state-of-the-art methods by 3.93%-4.27% on JUMP-CP in classification accuracy. It also demonstrates exceptional cross-dataset transferability under a self-supervised setting, outperforming previous methods by up to 2.72% in accuracy in the same classification tasks. Furthermore, the disentangled attention reduces the quadratic complexity of channel-by-spatial sequence length of the global attention baseline, thus improving throughput by 55%-313%. Code is available at https://github.com/cvlab-stonybrook/ChanSFormer.

3D-PLOT-LLM: Part-Level Object Tokens for 3D Large Language Models

Jintang Xue, Xinyu Wang, Yixing Wu, Jingwen Chen, C. -C. Jay Kuo

原文摘要

3D multimodal large language models (3D MLLMs) describe a 3D object as a whole but cannot address, name, or reason about its parts. Prior part-aware attempts add segmentation decoders, heavier 3D encoders, or bounding-box grammars at substantial parameter cost. We take a fundamentally different path: we reorganize the input token stream so that parts become directly addressable through the LLM's own vocabulary. Our model, 3D-PLOT-LLM, partitions the frozen point encoder's patches into K locally coherent regions and inserts, before each region's patch tokens, a learnable per-region marker and a reserved vocabulary token <part_k>; a Marker-Space Refinement (MSR) module then conditions each marker on its region's spatial statistics and adjacency neighbors. The model thus cites parts in its output and follows prompts that refer to parts by token, a capability absent from prior object-level 3D MLLMs. To probe this interface, we construct PartVerse-QA, a vocabulary-level part-QA benchmark adapted from PartVerse mesh annotations (77K training pairs and 588 held-out queries on disjoint object splits), on which 3D-PLOT-LLM reaches caption-to-slots Jaccard 0.459 and Exact-match 13.78%, with a slot-to-caption GPT-4o judge of 44.68. On the text-description track of the 3DCoMPaT-GrIn part-aware grounded description benchmark, 3D-PLOT-LLM outperforms PointLLM, Kestrel, PARIS3D, and SegPoint on every reported text metric, and ShapeLLM on 3 of 4, with up to +3.03 GPT-4o judge over PointLLM. On Objaverse whole-object captioning, adding PartVerse-QA at Stage 2 yields +0.65 SBERT and +1.85 GPT-4o over PointLLM, and tops PointLLM-PiSA on 4 of 5 traditional metrics despite its part-grounded objective. All with under 1M new trainable parameters on a frozen point encoder, an order of magnitude below prior part-aware 3D MLLMs, and no learned part detector, segmentation decoder, or bounding-box head.

FedIA: Instance-Aware Cross-Modal Representations for Federated Prompt Learning

Xuanjing Zhang, Qi Guo, Yanan Qiao, Yong Han, Junge Bo

原文摘要

Federated Prompt Learning (FPL) enables parameter-efficient adaptation of pre-trained Vision-Language Models across decentralized clients without exchanging raw data. To cope with cross-client heterogeneity, existing FPL methods typically pair a globally shared prompt with a client-specific local prompt. However, this design personalizes only at the client level: the same local prompt is applied to all samples of a client, and the global and local prompts are combined in an input-agnostic, fixed manner. Consequently, it overlooks the substantial visual variations among samples within the same client and cannot adjust the balance between shared and personalized knowledge to each input. To address these limitations, we propose Federated Prompt Learning with Instance-Aware Cross-Modal Representations (FedIA), an FPL framework that learns instance-aware cross-modal representations. Specifically, FedIA first uses global text prompts as client-invariant semantic anchors to select image patches most relevant to each candidate class, suppressing distracting regions. The selected visual evidence then conditions the generation of instance-aware local text representations. Finally, an adaptive global-local fusion module calibrates the contributions of local and global text representations for each image-class pair. In this way, FedIA shifts personalization in FPL from the client level to the instance level while preserving the semantic knowledge shared across clients. Extensive experiments under domain shift, pathological label skew, and Dirichlet-based label skew show that FedIA outperforms FPL baselines, with maximum accuracy gains of 1.44\%-4.37\% over the latest baseline across the three settings. Ablation studies and analyses further verify the complementary contributions of instance-aware representation generation and adaptive global-local fusion.
