We present LucidLyra, a framework that makes generatively reconstructed 3D scenes directly queryable for semantics and instances in a feed-forward manner from video latents. While generative 3D reconstruction can synthesize virtual environments from a single image, downstream applications in robotics and physical AI require not only visual realism but also access to scene semantics and object identities. Existing 3D understanding approaches, however, require captured multi-view scenes, have limited generalization capabilities, or rely on expensive per-scene processing and optimization. To bridge this gap, our method distills complementary knowledge from a camera-controlled video diffusion model and frozen 2D vision foundation models into a unified model to jointly infer 3D Gaussians encoding geometry, appearance, open-vocabulary semantics, and class-agnostic instance cues. The resulting scenes support novel-view rendering, open-vocabulary segmentation, and object grouping without per-scene optimization, while training requires neither manual 3D annotations nor captured multi-view data. Our method outperforms baselines combining state-of-the-art 3DGS segmentation approaches with generative 3D scene reconstruction on curated synthetic and real-image-conditioned benchmarks, while preserving reconstruction quality. Furthermore, our latent formulation naturally extends to monocular video, reconstructing structured dynamic 3D scenes across time. By turning renderable but unstructured outputs into queryable 3D worlds, LucidLyra enables downstream applications including 3D scene editing, 3D asset mining, and robotic simulation.

Reconstructing dynamic 3D scenes from monocular videos remains challenging because limited observations provide insufficient motion constraints. Conventional 4D Gaussian representations model spatiotemporal appearance efficiently, but the restricted temporal evolution of each primitive makes complex nonlinear dynamics difficult to represent compactly. We propose a motion-expressive 4D Gaussian representation with time-varying means and covariances. By analytically differentiating Gaussian trajectories, we obtain Gaussian velocities and introduce Flow Splatting to render optical flow while accounting for camera motion, enabling dense motion supervision. This formulation jointly models scene appearance and motion within a unified set of 4D Gaussian primitives. We further introduce an initialization strategy based on the sampling theorem and a velocity consistency regularizer to stabilize optimization. Experiments on DAVIS and NVIDIA Dynamic Scenes demonstrate a favorable trade-off between reconstruction quality and efficiency under challenging monocular settings.

Maintaining consistent target identities and observation histories is essential for mobile robot perception. Panoramic Multi-Object Tracking (MOT) benefits from broad visual coverage but must address coordinate discontinuities at the equirectangular image seam and fluctuations in relative-depth estimates. Such fluctuations can undermine depth-aware association, highlighting the need for temporally consistent depth cues. We propose CylindTrack, a depth-aware cylindrical tracking-by-detection framework that jointly models panoramic topology and temporal depth consistency. Depth-Temporal Trajectory Modeling (DTM) maintains instance depth and its rate of change as filtered trajectory states. Spherical Spatio-Temporal Consistency Learning (SSTC) combines a Temporal Mixer with Spherical Geometry-aware Attention to refine depth-aware representations. A Topology-Aware Cylindrical Motion Model (TCMM) represents horizontal motion in an unwrapped angular state and incorporates periodic overlap, angular consistency, and filtered depth cues into association. Experiments on QuadTrack and JRDB demonstrate improved identity consistency and trajectory continuity, with HOTA scores of 33.67 and 31.12 and IDF1 scores of 40.45 and 34.33, respectively. The framework processes 28.56 and 21.34 frames per second, respectively, on an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 GPU under the reported evaluation settings. These results support persistent panoramic multi-object tracking for mobile robot perception. The source code will be released at https://github.com/warriordby/CylindTrack.

We introduce EgoHand, a monocular 3D hand reconstruction model that achieves state-of-the-art performance on egocentric video. Central to our approach is the curation of a high-quality training corpus of 14 million images, combining synthetic data, in-the-wild video, and multi-camera motion capture to balance scene diversity and supervision quality. The model adopts SOMA-Hand as its parametric representation and processes 2D hand crops with a transformer encoder, incorporating camera cues and an auxiliary 2D branch to improve geometric consistency and image alignment. Zero-shot evaluations on HOT3D, ARCTIC, and H2O demonstrate strong out-of-domain generalization, with lower joint-position, root-translation, and acceleration errors than competing baselines at an inference latency of approximately 9.01 ms. A blinded user preference study further shows that participants favor EgoHand's reconstructed hand poses over those from Apple EgoDex and Ropedia Xperience-10M. We release the EgoHand model and source code under the OpenMDW license, allowing free commercial use of the model.
Direct-policy World Action Models (WAM) have demonstrated the benefits of decoupling action generation from explicit future visual prediction for efficient inference in autonomous driving and embodied control. However, they still require tens of denoising steps to achieve competitive action quality, incurring substantial latency and hindering real-time deployment. Simply reducing the number of denoising steps will collapse the nonlinear multi-step denoising trajectory into coarse updates, substantially degrading action quality. To reduce the denoising steps while enabling real-time action generation, we present an effective world action model with one-step action generation, namely OSWAM, for autonomous driving and embodied control. We argue that it is the absence of structured action priors in random noise initialization that forces direct-policy WAMs to recover coherent action sequences through iterative denoising. Hence, we construct imagination tokens to initialize the diffusion process, providing physical priors and action-conditioned representations. We further introduce privileged information distillation with future conditioning to enhance future-aware action generation. As a result, OSWAM can efficiently and effectively generate high quality actions in just one diffusion step. Our experiments demonstrate that OSWAM achieves comparable or even better results in both autonomous driving and embodied control than direct-policy WAM and Joint-WAM that require tens of steps. It obtains approximately $3\times$ speedup over direct-policy WAM baselines and supports real-time compiled inference with latency as low as 40ms on an NVIDIA RTX 5090 GPU. High-resolution video matting requires preserving fine details, such as hair strands and soft transparency, while maintaining consistency across frames. Memory-based methods achieve strong matting quality by matching current-frame features with information stored from earlier frames, but this process becomes increasingly costly as resolution grows. We present MatAnyone-E, an efficient extension of MatAnyone 2 that focuses computation where it is most needed. Our approach first performs low-resolution propagation to identify uncertain regions that require closer inspection and the memory candidates most relevant to them. It then performs high-resolution matching only for these regions using the selected memory, while reusing low-resolution matching results elsewhere. This strategy reduces both the number of locations requiring detailed matching and the amount of memory searched, while preserving the information needed to produce a complete matte. We further reduce the cost of generating high-resolution mattes with a lightweight decoder designed around measured runtime bottlenecks and trained to reproduce the original decoder's representations. Experiments show that MatAnyone-E maintains matting quality comparable to MatAnyone 2 while achieving an estimated 7.4x inference speedup and reducing peak GPU memory usage to 7.6% of the usage of MatAnyone 2 at 4K. With compilation-enabled inference on a single NVIDIA H200 GPU, it reaches 73.07 FPS at 1080p and 28.62 FPS at 4K.

Document Question Answering (DQA) involves generating answers from a document based on a user’s query, representing a key task in document understanding. This task requires interpreting visual layouts, which has prompted recent studies to adopt multimodal Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) that processes page images for answer generation. However, in multimodal RAG, visual DQA struggles to utilize a large number of images effectively, as the retrieval stage often retains only a few candidate pages (e.g., Top-4), causing informative but less visually salient content to be overlooked in favor of common yet low-information pages. To address this issue, we propose a Multi-Armed Bandit–based DQA framework (MAB-DQA) to explicitly model the varying importance of multiple implicit aspects in a query. Specifically, MAB-DQA decomposes a query into aspect-aware subqueries and retrieves an aspect-specific candidate set for each. It treats each subquery as an arm and uses preliminary reasoning results from a small number of representative pages as reward signals to estimate aspect utility. Guided by an exploration–exploitation policy, MAB-DQA dynamically reallocates retrieval budgets toward high-value aspects. With the most informative pages and their correlations, MAB-DQA generates the expected results. On four benchmarks, MAB-DQA shows an average improvement of 5%-18% over the state-of-the-art method, consistently enhancing document understanding. Codes are available at https://github.com/ElephantOH/MAB-DQA.

Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines must address challenges beyond simple single-document retrieval, such as interpreting visual elements (tables, charts, images), synthesizing information across documents, and providing accurate source grounding. Existing benchmarks fail to capture this complexity, often focusing on textual data, single-document comprehension, or evaluating retrieval and generation in isolation. We introduce ViDoRe V3, a comprehensive multimodal RAG benchmark featuring multi-type queries over visually rich document corpora. It covers 10 datasets across diverse professional domains, comprising ~26,000 document pages paired with 3,099 human-verified queries, each available in 6 languages. Through 12,000 hours of human annotation effort, we provide high-quality annotations for retrieval relevance, bounding box localization, and verified reference answers. Our evaluation of state-of-the-art RAG pipelines reveals that visual retrievers outperform textual ones, late-interaction models and textual reranking substantially improve performance, and hybrid or purely visual contexts enhance answer generation quality. However, current models still struggle with non-textual elements, open-ended queries, and fine-grained visual grounding. To encourage progress in addressing these challenges, the benchmark is released under a commercially permissive license.

We present PiLoT, a unified framework that tackles UAV-based ego and target geo-localization. Conventional approaches rely on decoupled pipelines that fuse GNSS and Visual-Inertial Odometry (VIO) for ego-pose estimation, and active sensors like laser rangefinders for target localization. However, these methods are susceptible to failure in GNSS-denied environments and incur substantial hardware costs and complexity. PiLoT breaks this paradigm by directly registering live video stream against a geo-referenced 3D map. To achieve robust, accurate, and real-time performance, we introduce three key contributions: 1) a Dual-Thread Engine that decouples map rendering from core localization thread, ensuring both low latency while maintaining drift-free accuracy; 2) a large-scale synthetic dataset with precise geometric annotations (camera pose, depth maps). This dataset enables the training of a lightweight network that generalizes in a zero-shot manner from simulation to real data; and 3) a Joint Neural-Guided Stochastic-Gradient Optimizer (JNGO) that achieves robust convergence even under aggressive motion.Evaluations on a comprehensive set of public and newly collected benchmarks show that PiLoT outperforms state-of-the-art methods while running over 25 FPS on NVIDIA Jetson Orin platform. Our code and dataset are available at: https://github.com/Choyaa/PiLoT.

Diffusion models have achieved remarkable progress in high-fidelity image, video, and audio generation, yet inference remains computationally expensive. Nevertheless, current diffusion acceleration methods based on distributed parallelism suffer from noticeable generation artifacts and fail to achieve substantial acceleration proportional to the number of GPUs. Therefore, we propose a hybrid parallelism framework that combines a novel data parallel strategy, condition-based partitioning, with an optimal pipeline scheduling method, adaptive parallelism switching, to reduce generation latency and achieve high generation quality in conditional diffusion models. The key ideas are to (i) leverage the conditional and unconditional denoising paths as a new data-partitioning perspective and (ii) adaptively enable optimal pipeline parallelism according to the denoising discrepancy between these two paths. Our framework achieves 2.31xand 2.07xlatency reductions on SDXL and SD3, respectively, using two NVIDIA RTX 3090 GPUs, while preserving image quality. This result confirms the generality of our approach across U-Net-based diffusion models and DiT-based flow-matching architectures. Our approach also outperforms existing methods in acceleration under high-resolution synthesis settings. Code is available at https://github.com/kaist-dmlab/Hybridiff.
