Semantic-ID-based generative recommendation unifies retrieval and ranking through autoregressive decoding but differs structurally from discriminative models, which can directly access rich target-item side features. The attributes are compressed into a finite codebook during quantization, while the target item remains undetermined during decoding and its features cannot be looked up. This target-side feature vacuum weakens generation at each semantic-ID level through high conditional entropy and cascading errors, and final ranking through missing target-side feature crossing. Existing methods interact with candidate representations or generate discrete attribute tokens, but none reconstructs a continuous target-side representation inside decoding to support both stepwise generation and ranking. We propose TacGR (Stepwise Target-Side Feature Anticipation and Crossing for Generative Recommendation). Before decoding each codeword, TacGR anticipates a continuous target-side feature vector and crosses it with the semantic prefix and user behavior sequence inside the decoder. The crossed representation conditions current-level generation and is directly used for ranking. Continuous-vector regression risks a learnable target collapsing with its prediction and prediction noise propagating into generation through attention. TacGR addresses these challenges with a semantic-anchoring auxiliary tower and a unidirectional visibility mask, respectively. For extremely long industrial behavior histories, it introduces gated convolutional denoising to suppress noise and adapts the pyramid memory funnel to reduce inference cost. Offline experiments on a large-scale Lazada dataset show significant gains over OneRec, UniRec, and UniSGR. Online A/B testing improves IPV, Order, and GMV by 0.79%, 5.55%, and 3.09%, respectively.
Computer-use agents (CUAs) are commonly evaluated against fixed task specifications, but users may omit requirements, add constraints, or require approval before consequential actions. Completing the benchmark instruction does not guarantee serving the person who asked. We introduce PersonaCUABench, which holds 74 tasks across 11 domains fixed and varies only who asks. A persona agent, playing one of 44 personas in four groups, rewrites each instruction in that user's own words and answers the CUA's questions, while the CUA sees only the dialogue, never the profile or the original instruction. Across nine backbones (3,330 runs), mean task completion falls by 36% relative to the original requests. The losses have two sources: in 59.9% of cells that lose points, the agent engages with what the user asked for and still gets it wrong, and 11.2% are stops the user requested that the checker scores as failures. Even when a persona request is fully completed, the user gives the top satisfaction rating in only 62.7% of cells, against 84.1% for the original requests. CUAs should therefore be evaluated not only on task completion but also on whether they meet the requirements and constraints users express. Code: https://github.com/MatrAIx-ai/PersonaCUABench. Large Language Model (LLM)-based agents show promise for e-commerce conversational shopping, yet existing implementations lack the interaction depth and contextual breadth required for complex product research. Meanwhile, the Deep Research paradigm, despite advancing information synthesis in web search, suffers from domain gaps when transferred to e-commerce. We propose ProductResearch, a multi-agent framework that synthesizes high-fidelity, long-horizon tool-use trajectories for training robust e-commerce shopping agents. The framework employs a User Agent to infer nuanced shopping intents from behavioral histories, and a Supervisor Agent that orchestrates iterative collaboration with a Research Agent to generate synthetic trajectories culminating in comprehensive, insightful product research reports. These trajectories are rigorously filtered and distilled through a reflective internalization process that consolidates multi-agent supervisory interactions into coherent single-role training examples, enabling effective fine-tuning of LLM agents for complex shopping inquiries. Extensive experiments show that a compact MoE model fine-tuned on our synthetic data achieves substantial improvements over its base model in response comprehensiveness, research depth, and user-perceived utility, approaching the performance of frontier proprietary deep research systems and establishing multi-agent synthetic trajectory training as an effective and scalable paradigm for enhancing LLM-based shopping assistance.
