Modern video models possess strong visual priors, yet do not natively represent human action in metric 3D space. We present EgoGeneralist, which adapts pretrained video generators to unify action-conditioned egocentric video generation, pose estimation, and joint action-video generation. Our role-adaptive action renderer provides video-native representations for multidirectional action-video learning, making metric motion usable as both a spatial control signal and a recoverable generation target. Cross-stream action-video coupling establishes close correspondence between metric motion and visual dynamics through lightweight adaptation while preserving the pretrained visual prior. Together, these designs establish a generalist framework spanning five action-video tasks. Despite adaptation only on controlled laboratory recordings, EgoGeneralist generalizes to diverse unseen scenes and interactions with effective action control and visual quality, bridging pretrained visual knowledge and metric 3D human motion.

Temporary traffic control redirects vehicles through work zones, requiring automated vehicles to connect an interpretation of the visible devices to a continuous passing path. Geometric predictors provide several plausible paths, yet selecting the one consistent with the temporary control remains difficult. We propose SAGE (Semantic-to-Action Grounded Execution), a read-decide-execute-check framework that separates path construction, path preference, and control compliance within a shared candidate space. The central idea is to use a vision-language model's (VLM's) trajectory as a preference over intact geometric candidates. A role-decoupled generator constructs the candidates, and rank fusion combines each candidate's geometric score with its agreement with the VLM trajectory. Supervision structured around the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) trains SAGE-VLM to state the lane status and hazard side before its passage decision and trajectory. The predicted hazard side enters image-space predicates derived from MUTCD provisions, which support a final intervention bounded in score and displacement. On 2,306 real-world ROADWork validation episodes, the candidates include a path within 10 px of the human demonstration in 87% of episodes, yet selection regret accounts for 53% of the geometric ranker's error. SAGE reduces average and final displacement errors by 8.3% and 12.0% relative to the ranker and hard-constraint violations by 37%. The trajectory opinion improves all four tested generator-selector combinations. SAGE is comparable to state-of-the-art VLM modules in accuracy, with a faster-responding VLM, and outperforms four other adapted driving VLMs in displacement error and safety measures. Creating images from noise is image generation; reconstructing fine details from coarse inputs is super-resolution. Despite their practical differences, both can be understood as reversing information loss across scales. We introduce $\textbf{SKILD}$, a $\textbf{S}$cale-invariant $\textbf{K}$-Space $\textbf{I}$mage $\textbf{L}$earning $\textbf{D}$iffusion model that unifies generation and continuous super-resolution within a single unconditional framework. Both natural images and critical physical systems exhibit scale invariance, and we leverage it to design a forward process that attenuates image content from fine to coarse scales while injecting spectrum-matched Gaussian noise, making scale an explicit coordinate of the diffusion dynamics. The same trained reverse process performs generation and continuous super-resolution by varying only the starting timestep: $\textit{no task-specific architecture, no conditioning branch, no classifier-free guidance, no retraining per scale factor}$. Empirically, SKILD reaches FID $2.61$ and Inception Score $9.65$ on unconditional CIFAR-10, performs $2\times$--$8\times$ super-resolution on ImageNet from a single unconditional checkpoint while outperforming conditional models across perceptual metrics, and reconstructs critical Ising models whose connected four-point correlations closely track the ground truth.

Models for physical AI tasks, such as robotics and autonomous driving, need not reason solely in language. They can use visual plans--points, bounding boxes, and trajectories--to represent spatial goals and anticipate motion. However, autoregressive vision-language models generate these plans one coordinate token at a time, making richer predictions increasingly costly. We introduce VFlash, a method for fast, accurate visual planning through Flash Primitive Decoding. VFlash exploits the known structure of visual primitives to predict their coordinates jointly, using a lightweight drafter that generates an entire primitive in one forward pass. The layout adapts to the primitive's type, dimensionality, and length, supporting compact boxes and long, variable-length trajectories. Crucially, spatial accuracy need not require reproducing an autoregressive model's exact token sequence. VFlash therefore trains on annotated primitives and directly accepts structurally valid predictions without target-token agreement. Across the evaluated 2D and 3D robot trajectory tasks, VFlash consistently reduces prediction errors relative to autoregressive decoding. Preliminary single-rollout measurements indicate approximately 25x faster generation for 3D point motion forecasting. A world action model conditioned on VFlash plans achieves 70.2% average success across four MolmoSpaces task suites, compared with 62.6% for the baseline.

State-of-the-art feedforward reconstruction models perform poorly on in-the-wild object-centric photo collections. They are trained largely on single-session object captures whose images vary in viewpoint while the object and its environment remain nearly fixed. Public photo archives contain a different form of multi-view data. They hold found photos of the same object or design: photos taken independently by many people across years, environments, cameras, and sometimes physical units. In this work, we introduce Trainspotting, a dataset of 12,068 objects and 311,886 photos from Wikimedia Commons. We reconstruct each object to recover camera poses, multi-view stereo depth, and object masks. We categorize the objects into three regimes: objects fixed at one site, objects that move between sites, and designs shared by many physical units. Evaluating recent feedforward reconstruction models on Trainspotting shows that they fail most severely in the last two regimes. Fine-tuning VGGT-$Ω$ on Trainspotting significantly improves camera pose, depth, and 3D geometry on held-out objects. We observe similar improvements on the independent NAVI in-the-wild benchmark, which contains photos of each object in different environments. Performance on conventional benchmarks remains largely unchanged.

Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models enable end-to-end robot control, but inference is increasingly expensive. Each decision processes hundreds of visual tokens, often across multiple cameras, leading to substantial computation while allowing irrelevant background content to distract action prediction under distribution shift. We argue that these issues stem from two complementary forms of redundancy: many visual tokens are spatially irrelevant, while attention over the remaining tokens is often misallocated. Based on this observation, we propose T3R, a Training-Free Two-Stage Token Refinement framework. In the first stage, segmentation-guided token pruning removes irrelevant visual patches to reduce computation and eliminate distracting context. In the second stage, saliency-guided attention biasing reallocates attention toward action-critical visual regions and language instructions within the retained tokens. Together, pruning produces a cleaner candidate set, while attention biasing further emphasizes the most decision-relevant evidence, yielding a better accuracy-efficiency frontier than either stage alone. On LIBERO-Spatial, T3R removes 85% of scene-camera visual tokens while essentially matching the unpruned success rate, and improves success by up to 7 percentage points under out-of-distribution object-placement perturbations. The timing comparison attributes 7.8 ms per inference call to pruning and attention-bias application. As input resolution increases, LLM-forward profiling shows up to a 3.3x speedup over the unpruned baseline. Evaluations across LIBERO, SIMPLER, and RoboTwin with three VLA backbones show the strongest accuracy-efficiency benefits in multi-camera settings. These results demonstrate that training-free token refinement is a practical approach to efficient and robust VLA inference.

Visual interaction models that support users during ongoing physical tasks require evaluation in closed loop, where assistant responses can change subsequent user behavior and task outcomes. Existing benchmarks largely rely on offline replay and therefore cannot capture these effects. We introduce Interactive Visual Gym, a framework for closed-loop evaluation and training of visual interaction models through joint simulation of executable task environments and human users. We contribute three simulators that recreate everyday tasks and human-aligned action spaces across cooking, household manipulation, and mobile-interface domains, together with a persona-conditioned user simulation harness that collaborates with the assistant while incorporating controlled execution errors and other out-of-plan behaviors. We instantiate the framework as IVG-Bench, a benchmark with 315 interaction scenarios. Evaluating state-of-the-art VLMs as visual interaction models reveals substantial limitations: the best-performing model, Gemini 4 Argon, completes only 53.4% of tasks within the time limit, exhibits significant weaknesses in factual grounding and actionable guidance, and is often too slow to prevent errors when response latency is considered. We verify our evaluation protocol with a human study which finds 78.5% agreement between our interaction-quality metric and participant preferences. We further show that the environments provide useful learning signals: in a proof-of-concept GRPO experiment, closed-loop training improves both task success and interaction quality for Qwen3.5-4B model in our cooking environment.

Egocentric human video offers a scalable source of manipulation priors for robot learning, yet translating raw data scale into generalizable robot policies demands rigorous data curation and training recipes. We introduce Open-HumanWAM, the first fully open recipe for scaling egocentric pretraining to 50,000 hours, anchored by Open-HumanWAM-50K---a curated egocentric video corpus densely annotated with hand motion and natural language. Leveraging this corpus, we systematically investigate pure human pretraining via closed-loop simulation evaluations and uncover an empirical log-linear scaling law linking pretraining data hours to downstream robot success rates. Grounded in these findings, we develop HumanWAM-Vanilla, a world--action model pretrained exclusively on 50k hours of egocentric human video. Upon robot post-training, HumanWAM-Vanilla reaches 92.08% success on RoboTwin 2.0 Clean2Clean and 68.88% on Clean2Random, alongside a 14.17% mean success rate and a 19.00 mean progress score on RoboDojo. To push the capability frontier further, we explore joint human--robot pretraining with HumanWAM-Goal, a visual-goal-conditioned world--action model. Hybrid data scaling unlocks broad zero-shot generalization across both simulation and physical benchmarks, propelling post-trained RoboTwin 2.0 performance to new state-of-the-art levels: 92.70% on Clean2Clean and a substantial leap to 84.60% on Clean2Random. On physical robots, HumanWAM-Goal further exhibits emergent embodied in-context learning, dynamically adapting its manipulation behavior to unseen visual goals without parameter updates. To support reproducible scaling research in embodied AI, we open-source the Open-HumanWAM-50K corpus, data curation and pretraining pipelines, alongside the pretrained and post-trained HumanWAM checkpoints, inference code, and simulation evaluation suites.

As one of the most important underwater sensing technologies, forward-looking sonar exhibits unique imaging characteristics. Sonar images are often affected by severe speckle noise, low texture contrast, acoustic shadows, and geometric distortions. These factors make it difficult for traditional teacher-student frameworks to achieve satisfactory performance in sonar semantic segmentation tasks under extremely limited labeled data conditions. To address this issue, we propose a Collaborative Teacher Semantic Segmentation Framework for forward-looking sonar images. This framework introduces a multi-teacher collaborative mechanism composed of one general teacher and multiple sonar-specific teachers. By adopting a multi-teacher alternating guidance strategy, the student model can learn general semantic representations while simultaneously capturing the unique characteristics of sonar images, thereby achieving more comprehensive and robust feature modeling. Considering the challenges of sonar images, which can lead teachers to generate a large number of noisy pseudo-labels, we further design a cross-teacher reliability assessment mechanism. This mechanism dynamically quantifies the reliability of pseudo-labels by evaluating the consistency and stability of predictions across multiple views and multiple teachers, thereby mitigating the negative impact caused by noisy pseudo-labels. Notably, on the FLSMD dataset, when only 2% of the data is labeled, our method achieves a 5.08% improvement in mIoU compared to other state-of-the-art approaches.

Cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (CMR) captures rich spatiotemporal information about ventricular structure and motion, but conventional risk models use only a few image-derived indices from selected cardiac phases. We present a latent dynamical model that encodes bi-ventricular anatomy and full-cycle cine motion as a continuous latent trajectory, using heart-rate-aware neural ordinary differential equation (ODE) dynamics and a graph-based mesh autoencoder to reconstruct anatomically consistent 3D+t ventricular motion. A covariate-conditioned prior defines the expected end-diastolic latent state, and a Cox proportional hazards model tests whether deviations from this prior predict incident heart failure. We studied 72,386 UK Biobank participants without baseline cardiovascular disease, including 367 incident heart failure events. In a held-out evaluation subset, adding the latent score to refitted pooled cohort equations improved the stratified C-index from 0.704 to 0.785, compared with 0.764 for seven established cardiac markers. Compared with non-graph and non-ODE approaches, the proposed model gave the best trade-off between reconstruction fidelity, generative realism, and downstream prognostic performance. These results suggest that continuous full-cycle modeling of ventricular motion provides informative cardiac phenotypes beyond conventional CMR summaries, while external validation in more representative patient cohorts is required before clinical risk-prediction use.

Multi-modal large language models (MLLMs) with impressive perception and understanding capabilities will enable a range of downstream applications. However, their substantial computational and memory requirements hinder the real-world implementation, particularly for resource-constrained edge devices. Quantization has emerged as an effective solution for deploying large models. While post-training quantization (PTQ) successfully retains the performance at moderate bit-width (e.g., W8A8), it suffers from severe performance degradation under low-bit quantization (e.g., W4A8), especially for small-scale models that are more suitable for edge deployment. In this paper, we propose ProQuant, a novel weight-activation quantization-aware training (QAT) framework tailored for low-bit MLLMs. First, to align the limited finetuning dataset distribution with the pretrained dataset distribution, we propose a self-relabeling (SRL) scheme to resample the responses of the open-source multimodal dataset. Second, we are the first to take a decoupled view of multi-modal (MM) understanding and language modeling abilities. We propose a progressive block activation (PBA) mechanism to prioritize the MM understanding recovery. We also introduce a vision-sensitive factor $\vecτ$ that effectively identifies the MM-critical layers. Extensive experiments across various benchmarks, covering models with 2B-8B parameters, show that ProQuant significantly outperforms existing methods. For example, our W4A8 Qwen3-VL-2B-Instruct improves average accuracy by impressively 6.6% and achieves performance comparable to full precision counterparts with only approximately 1% performance drop. Person identification from millimeter-wave (mmWave) radar point clouds has primarily focused on gait. However, since indoor walking is typically brief and fragmented, gait-based identification is largely constrained to designated passages that support continuous walking. Meanwhile, non-gait activities of daily living (ADLs) are pervasive and also encode discriminative personal signatures. In this study, we evaluate the feasibility of ADL-based identification from sparse mmWave point clouds using mm-ADL, a dataset comprising seven core ADLs collected from 11 subjects under controlled protocols. Moving beyond uniform gait introduces significant activity-dependent variations that confound identity representations. To address this challenge, we systematically benchmark three activity-identity learning paradigms: monolithic learning, joint multi-task learning, and two-stage activity-conditioned routing, under both closed-set identification (ID) and subject-disjoint re-identification (ReID) biometric settings. In parallel, we propose Dual-Stream Static-Dynamic PointNet (DS-SDPNet), an architecture tailored to radar point clouds that captures complementary spatial morphology and motion dynamics. Across seven ADLs, DS-SDPNet achieves 70.2% mean closed-set identification accuracy and outperforms existing baselines on both mm-ADL and mmGait. Moreover, benchmarking the three paradigms without ground-truth activity labels during inference yields up to 68.0% closed-set accuracy and 75.4% ReID mAP, providing a systematic baseline and confirming the feasibility of point-cloud-based biometric identification across diverse daily activities.

World-action models (WAMs) jointly model future traffic states and driving actions for end-to-end autonomous driving in intelligent transportation systems. However, their action learning remains dominated by expert-trajectory imitation, leaving unsafe alternatives close to expert trajectories insufficiently constrained. To improve WAM robustness in safety-critical scenarios, we propose NegWAM, a safety post-training framework for unified WAMs that learns explicit safety boundaries from near-expert failure trajectories. NegWAM constructs negative trajectories that are geometrically close to the expert trajectory yet carry safety risks, uses them as repulsive anchors to steer predictions away from dangerous behavior, and encodes them as scene-conditioned rider tokens to learn scene--trajectory compatibility. During training, NegWAM jointly optimizes the flow-matching and near-expert negative objectives, while the auxiliary rider branch is discarded at inference, incurring no additional overhead. On NAVSIM v2, NegWAM achieves 40.4 EPDMS on navhard, a 4.1% relative improvement over the strongest compared scorer-free WAM baseline, and achieves 93.3 EPDMS on navtest. These results demonstrate that NegWAM achieves strong performance in safety-critical scenarios while preserving routine-driving performance. Zero-shot closed-loop evaluation on HUGSIM further demonstrates cross-benchmark generalization. The code is available at https://github.com/Zizizi-hao/NegWAM.

Humanoid rigging for modern characters with complex garments remains challenging due to the need for dense auxiliary skeletons and precise skinning control. Existing automatic methods primarily recover rigs from geometry, providing limited artist control over auxiliary articulation and often lacking explicit semantic or kinematic-chain structure for dense garment bones, leading to instability and weight bleeding. We present TailorRig, a framework that reformulates garment-aware humanoid rigging as a structured, controllable full-rig generation problem. This formulation shifts the goal from automatic rig recovery to artist-driven rig authoring, where both body-template compatibility and auxiliary articulation are explicit design choices. TailorRig exposes two explicit axes of artist control within a unified framework: a user-specified body skeleton template that preserves body-rig compatibility, and artist-provided semantic labels that drive an autoregressive generator to synthesize requested category-specific auxiliary bone chains. To robustly assign skinning weights under dense skeletal configurations, we further introduce a hierarchical chain-to-bone formulation: vertices are first associated to a kinematic chain, and bone weights are then refined within that chain, reducing weight bleeding between spatially adjacent but semantically unrelated structures. We evaluate TailorRig on a diverse set of characters and introduce Human-Mix, a large-scale dataset of over 38,000 humanoid models curated for garment-aware rigging. Experiments show that TailorRig improves skeleton accuracy, deformation stability, controllability, and practical usability over existing methods. Video compression at ultra-low bitrates remains challenging due to the loss of perceptually important details under limited bit budgets. Recent generative video compression methods leverage pretrained video priors to improve perceptual quality and temporal coherence, but many follow a compress-then-generate paradigm, where generative priors are primarily exploited during reconstruction. Moreover, representations learned for generation and reconstruction are not inherently optimized for entropy coding. In this work, we propose \method, which adapts pretrained video representations into compression-oriented representations while preserving their reconstruction capability. Specifically, we adapt the pretrained causal video VAE of MiniMax-H3 into a discrete video tokenizer and develop a small autoregressive entropy model that captures local and global token dependencies, with grouped prediction for parallel decoding. To further improve coding efficiency, we jointly optimize the tokenizer and entropy model using a differentiable rate surrogate, allowing rate gradients to adapt token assignments toward lower coding costs while preserving reconstruction quality. Experiments on UVG, MCL-JCV, and HEVC Class B demonstrate superior perceptual rate--distortion performance, achieving BD-LPIPS savings of 82.2\%--87.5\% and BD-DISTS savings of 78.3\%--85.0\% relative to GLC-Video.

Less is More: Compact-Token Masked Feature Prediction for Skeleton Representation Learning

Jeonghyeok Do, Yun Chen, Geunhyuk Youk, Munchurl Kim

原文摘要

Current skeleton representation learning paradigms face distinct limitations: Contrastive Learning (CL) often overlooks fine-grained motion details, while Masked Auto-Encoders (MAE) rely on coordinate-level reconstruction. This reconstruction inherently demands dense token sequences and heavy decoders, wasting pre-training computation on discarded components and forcing downstream inference to process dense token grids. To resolve these bottlenecks, we propose SLiM (Skeleton Less is More), a compact-token framework that unifies masked feature prediction and contrastive learning via a shared encoder. By shifting the objective from raw coordinate reconstruction to decoder-free, teacher-guided feature prediction, SLiM breaks the reliance on dense tokenization and enables effective learning with a highly compact token grid. Crucially, to prevent trivial shortcut learning arising from strong inter-joint dependencies of human, we introduce Semantic Tube Masking together with Skeleton-Aware Augmentations to enforce deep skeletal-temporal reasoning and anatomical consistency. Extensive experiments across multiple downstream protocols demonstrate that SLiM achieves state-of-the-art performance while structurally reducing inference computation by 7.89$\times$ compared to dense-token MAE baselines.

Spatiotemporal Dynamics-Aware Industrial Anomaly Detection and Reasoning

S-Wei Chen, Siangyu Yang, Yi-Chen Jan, Chun-Yi Lee, Shao-Yuan Lo

原文摘要

Industrial Anomaly Detection (IAD) is a long-established problem that aims to detect defects in industrial products during manufacturing for quality control. Most existing studies focus on static visual patterns as the basis for detection. However, in real manufacturing environments, many anomalies are dynamics-based, such as irregular movements that cannot be perceived from static cues alone. We observe that even recent Multimodal Large Language Model (MLLM)-based approaches fall short in identifying such dynamic anomalies due to limited temporal modeling capability. To address this, we introduce MUSTARD: MUltimodal SpatioTemporal Anomaly Reasoning and Detection, a framework that equips MLLMs with fine-grained spatiotemporal dynamics awareness for detecting and reasoning about dynamics-based defects. MUSTARD introduces optical-flow-guided keyframe selection and augmented modalities to capture critical motion irregularities through local motion patterns and global dynamic evolution. Its normal pattern-based reasoning pipeline requires only a few normal reference samples as the detection basis, avoiding any model updates. This enables efficient adaptation across various products and provides high decision interpretability. MUSTARD is the first MLLM-based framework for dynamics-based IAD. Experiments demonstrate its superior performance in detecting spatiotemporal anomalies and providing plausible explanations. The code will be made publicly available.

原文摘要

Existing low-light image enhancement methods often suffer from local exposure imbalance and color distortion under complex, non-uniform illumination, while mainstream Vision Transformers lack explicit modeling of physics-based priors for illumination degradation. To address these limitations, we propose GLFS, a Gaussian Light Field Splatting-based Vision Transformer that incorporates continuous light-field priors from 2D Gaussian Splatting (2DGS) as an explicit physical bias into the Transformer self-attention mechanism to guide spatial gain estimation under complex non-uniform illumination. Specifically, GLFS represents scene illumination as a superposition of anisotropic Gaussian basis functions and introduces a physics-informed bias into the self-attention mechanism to adaptively infer a spatial gain field, enabling accurate and spatially uniform restoration under complex illumination conditions. To mitigate color shifts and structural degradation during enhancement, we further introduce a color vector angular loss and a luminance edge loss, with the former enforcing hue consistency and the latter improving the structural fidelity of local details. Extensive ablation studies and quantitative evaluations demonstrate that GLFS achieves competitive overall performance in illumination correction, structure preservation, and perceptual quality, validating the effectiveness of the continuous Gaussian light field prior for low-light image enhancement.

RT-DETR-World: Transferring Rich LLM Semantics to Real-Time Open-Vocabulary Detection

原文摘要

Open-vocabulary detection (OVD) recognizes categories unseen during training through textual category queries, yet achieving strong generalization with real-time efficiency remains challenging. Beyond vocabulary scaling, zero-shot generalization may benefit from reusable visual--semantic cues learned from seen data, including attributes, actions, states, and contextual relations. Existing real-time OVD methods primarily emphasize vocabulary coverage and efficient region/query--text matching; under strict efficiency constraints, compact detectors may struggle to absorb rich instance semantics and scene context. We propose RT-DETR-World, a compact DETR-style detector that transfers the rich semantics conveyed by descriptions during training while retaining lightweight query--text matching at inference. We construct GroundingCapv2 with three levels of supervision: category names for standard OVD, object descriptions conveying instance-level semantics, and image descriptions conveying object relations and scene context. These descriptions serve only as training-time semantic supervision. To help the compact detector absorb these semantics, we propose Dual-Path Description Alignment (DDA), combining a deployment-consistent MiniLM pathway with a training-only LLM teacher. MiniLM provides query--category supervision and object-description alignment, while offline teacher features supervise matched queries and global visual representations at the object and image levels, respectively. All teacher features are precomputed, and the teacher-side modules are removed after training. We further propose Relation-Aware Negative Relaxation (RNR), which uses teacher-derived semantic similarities to relax related negatives while preserving exact positives. Experiments demonstrate competitive zero-shot accuracy and a favorable accuracy--efficiency trade-off. The code will be released.

Multimodal Graph RAG for Long-range Visually Rich Document Understanding

Yi-Cheng Wang, Chu-Song Chen

原文摘要

Multimodal large language models (MLLMs) are widely applied to visual document understanding. However, comprehending long documents remains an issue by the limited context window. Though recent multimodal retrieval-augmented generation (MMRAG) can address this challenge by retrieving relevant pages. It still struggles with the visual question answering (VQA) requiring holistic comprehension of a document. To cope with this, knowledge graph (KG) that summarizes global knowledge of a document can provide an effective solution. However, most existing LLM-based KG construction methods handle only the language modality, leaving the automatic creation of multimodal KGs (MMKGs) for visually rich documents largely unexplored. In this paper, we introduce a multimodal graph-based RAG approach to tackle this problem. Existing LLM-based KG methods evaluate the QA performance relying on indirect evidence such as comprehensiveness, diversity, empowerment, and so on. The lack of annotated datasets for comprehensive document-level VQA poses a significant challenge to effective model evaluation. To overcome this limitation, we also introduce a new benchmark, DLVQA (document-level VQA), which provides reference summaries and corresponding supporting facts for global document-level questions. Experimental results show that our approach outperforms existing MMRAG or KG-based approaches on multi-hop QA/VQA benchmarks and DLVQA.

原文摘要

Autoregressive driving world models systematically suffer from structural drift, identity drift, and quality decay over long rollout horizons due to transient conditioning signals that lack persistent state. We present WAM-Sim, a driving world model anchored by a persistent hierarchical memory and optimized via online flow-matching RL. WAM-Sim structures persistent context across three temporal and semantic scales: pose-aligned structural tokens encoding persistent road topology, read-only scene tokens supplying geolocated background appearance, and write-once instance tokens preserving individual traffic participant identities across occlusions and chunk boundaries. To restore visual sharpness and physical plausibility degraded by multi-scale conditioning, we introduce an online post-training framework that optimizes self-generated rollouts via flow-matching RL guided by hierarchy-aligned visual rewards and a vision-language model physical judge. The invariant memory empirically confines policy optimization within the anchored context, helping suppress semantic collapse and reward hacking, while online RL systematically enforces physical commonsense and fine-grained visual fidelity. On the nuScenes benchmark, WAM-Sim achieves a superior generation fidelity (FID=3.47, FVD=25.72) and strong downstream perception performance (24.16 mAP, 71.23 road mIoU). On minute-scale rollouts of self-collected data, WAM-Sim substantially mitigates structural and identity drift, preserving high scene similarity and subject identity coherence across extended horizons. PlayGen2: Learning Real-Time Playable Worlds with Explicit 3D State

原文摘要

Building a playable world requires more than generating plausible video: it demands responsive control, persistent spatial structure, and coherent interactions with dynamic entities. Using generated frames as the sole recurrent world representation ties these requirements to view-dependent appearance synthesis, making it difficult to maintain long-term spatial and temporal consistency in generation and interaction. We present PlayGen2, a real-time interactive world model that separates learned 3D state evolution from neural rendering. PlayGen2 maintains a persistent world memory comprising static geometry represented by a volumetric occupancy grid and identity-indexed 3D states for the player and other entities. Within a fixed-size local region, its world-state model jointly learns action-conditioned entity dynamics, geometry completion, and entity discovery, committing updates to a persistent world memory. A separate neural renderer synthesizes first-person observations from depth and semantic projections of the world state, without feeding generated images back into state prediction. Using Doom as a testbed, we demonstrate that the model successfully learns world dynamics including geometry-aware player motion and player--NPC interactions. The framework is computationally efficient, enabling the complete simulation and rendering pipeline to achieve approximately 160ms backend latency on a MacBook Pro with an M4 Pro chip. Beyond single-player interaction, we demonstrate zero-shot deployment on unseen Doom maps, multiplayer interaction through the composition of single-player models, and programmable gameplay through rule-based state interventions. These capabilities demonstrate the transferability and extensibility of the learned game-world model. Code and pretrained model weights are publicly available.

原文摘要

Robot world models predict action-conditioned future visual states to support robotic planning and decision making. However, visual reconstruction does not fully capture task progress, semantic evaluation alone provides limited constraints on fine-grained visual errors, and homogeneous predictions limit comparative feedback. We present RoboImagine, a framework for post-training autoregressive robotic world models through candidate-future comparisons with semantic and visual feedback. Diverse search promotes diversity among candidate trajectories under shared visual observations, action sequences, and task instructions. A frozen multimodal evaluator provides task-relevant semantic preferences through pairwise video comparisons in both presentation orders, complemented by pixel- and perceptual-level visual consistency feedback that constrains local structural and appearance errors. These signals drive policy optimization through group-relative advantages. Fixed initial context and branch-specific rolling histories support long-sequence generation with bounded context and consistent conditioning between candidate generation and policy optimization. Experiments with separately trained models on RT-1, BridgeV2, and RoboCasa cover real-world and simulated manipulation. On RT-1, under matched initialization, update counts, and evaluation protocols, RoboImagine improves PSNR by 1.26 dB and reduces LPIPS by 11.93% relative to continued supervised fine-tuning. Ablations show that diverse search improves prediction quality and that combined semantic and visual feedback yields higher external multimodal evaluation scores than visual feedback alone while maintaining comparable visual fidelity. Rolling histories further improve long-horizon prediction. These results support improving visual fidelity, task relevance, and long-horizon prediction through candidate comparison and complementary feedback.

CMDiff: Left Atrial Scar Segmentation from 3D LGE MRI Using Conditional Mask Diffusion Model: A Feasibility Study

原文摘要

Late gadolinium enhancement (LGE) cardiac MRI enables non-invasive assessment of left atrial (LA) scar, an imaging marker associated with atrial fibrillation ablation outcome. However, automatic scar segmentation is hindered by low contrast, the thin atrial wall, scarce labels, and extreme class imbalance. Conditional diffusion offers iterative mask generation, but its suitability for sparse 3D LA scar segmentation remains unclear. To address this gap, we propose Conditional Mask Diffusion (CMDiff), which predicts clean masks using a dynamic-encoder-conditioned 3D sinusoidal UNet. We compared CMDiff with a deterministic baseline on identical cases in five-fold cross-validation of 60 scar-labelled public LASCARQS subjects, with 48 training and 12 held-out cases per fold. CMDiff achieved a scar DSC of 0.47 $\pm$ 0.08, HD95 of 12.89 $\pm$ 6.39 mm, and ASD of 1.91 $\pm$ 0.96 mm, compared with deterministic baseline values of 0.51 $\pm$ 0.08, 10.86 $\pm$ 5.39 mm, and 1.58 $\pm$ 1.03 mm, respectively. Under the same implementation, clean-mask prediction performed substantially better than the noise-prediction configuration evaluated in this study. Thus, CMDiff was technically feasible but did not improve segmentation performance: DSC was lower, and both HD95 and ASD were higher. Direct mask diffusion therefore provides an analytical alternative, but not a competitive performance advance for this task. BiGrounder: Bidirectional Training Unlocks the Potential of GUI Grounding

原文摘要

Graphical User Interface (GUI) grounding aims to map natural language instructions to precise operational coordinates, serving as a critical task for autonomous agent interaction. Current approaches formalize GUI grounding as predicting action-coordinate pairs from instructions, with end-to-end training supervised solely by final coordinates. Training datasets typically provide only a small number of descriptions per target coordinate, whereas real-world scenarios involve a much larger set of varied descriptions for the same target, which limits robustness to linguistic variation. While recent GUI grounding paradigms have begun employing reinforcement learning to enhance localization accuracy, models with limited exploratory capability before reinforcement yield constrained improvements even with identical training data during the reinforcement phase. To overcome these limitations, we propose a bidirectional reward paradigm that enables model self-reinforcement. During SFT, bidirectional training equips the model to generate action descriptions from target coordinates. During RL, the model samples semantically consistent instruction variations on-policy and grounds each variation back to its target. A cycle-consistency gate couples semantic quality to grounding success, turning the model's own instruction policy into a source of continually refreshed reinforcement trajectories. Our 4B-parameter model achieves competitive accuracy across five grounding benchmarks in our evaluation, indicating the effectiveness of the proposed training paradigm. https://github.com/Spell-shi/BiGrounder

Memory before Goal: Role of Pre-History Memory for Humanoid Loco-Manipulation

Chenyuan Chen, Ran Ding, Lechen Zhang, Zewen He, Yoshihiko Nakamura

原文摘要

Humanoid loco-manipulation in dynamic scenes is non-Markovian: cues vanish as objects change or are hidden, or leave the view as the robot turns and walks, yet whole-body vision-language-action (VLA) policies see only the present. We present WholeBodyMem, an object-guided perceptual memory that keeps the pre-history of object events seen before the robot acts on its goal. SAM3 tracks the task objects, and their events causally select key frames within an adaptive budget, which the action expert reads by cross-attention together with object tokens encoding appearance, geometry and time. We also contribute HuMeGo, a humanoid memory benchmark with six simulated and six real-world Unitree G1 tasks. Keeping the right frames rather than more frames, WholeBodyMem surpasses memoryless and uniform-memory baselines, raising its base policy's success from 29.1% to 72.6% in simulation and from 36.7% to 88.3% on the real robot, while also improving the standard SIMPLE tasks (70.2% to 86.9%).

AffineGS: Unlocking Accurate Geometry in 3DGS via Spatially Varying Affine Rectification

Tze Ho Elden Tse, Jizong Peng, Richard Chen, Angela Yao

原文摘要

3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) has become the leading approach for photorealistic novel view synthesis, yet its geometric accuracy lags behind its visual quality. Existing depth-guided methods attempt to resolve this by regularizing the optimization with monocular depth priors, typically using a single global scale-and-shift alignment. Crucially, we discover a fundamental flaw in this assumption: modern monocular depth networks systematically exhibit region-dependent, piecewise-linear distortions. This discovery invalidates standard global alignment strategies, which warp scene geometry by enforcing a single transform. To address this, we introduce a spatially varying affine rectification model that corrects monocular disparity into consistent metric depth using regionally smooth, edge-aware fields. We further derive a normal-aware regularizer that uses spatial gradients to couple the rectified disparity with 3DGS depth and normals. Across diverse experimental settings, our sensor-free method shows strong photometric quality of Gaussian Splatting while substantially improving geometric accuracy and outperforming state-of-the art geometry-focused methods.

OmniOPSD: Rationale-Privileged On-Policy Self-Distillation for Affective Computing

原文摘要

Multimodal large language models (MLLMs) have advanced affective computing by enabling nuanced reasoning over visual, acoustic, and linguistic evidence. A key approach to improving their generalization is outcome-based reinforcement learning, which converts existing label-level annotations into rewards for final-answer correctness. However, its sparse sequence-level supervision provides limited fine-grained guidance for interpreting multimodal affective cues and may reward correct labels even when those cues are misinterpreted. To address this challenge, we introduce OmniOPSD, the first on-policy self-distillation framework for omni-modal affective reasoning. At its core, OmniOPSD transforms label-level supervision into evidence-rich, teacher-only rationales by leveraging reference affective judgments as semantic priors for offline multimodal evidence elicitation from frontier MLLMs. Through rationale-privileged self-distillation, it couples on-policy student rollouts with dense, evidence-informed token-level supervision from a local self-teacher, allowing the student to learn along its own trajectories rather than imitate fixed reasoning traces. This decoupling of offline evidence acquisition from local policy learning enables training without additional human annotation, frontier-model logits, or online frontier-model calls, while preserving student-only inference from the original task input. At both 3B and 7B scales, OmniOPSD outperforms supervised fine-tuning (SFT) and group relative policy optimization (GRPO) in mean macro-F1 on both in-domain and out-of-domain evaluations. Among the compared models, it ranks first by MER-UniBench mean across all three input-modality settings, reaching 84.13 with audio--video--text input, and achieves the highest MME-Emotion recognition score (Rec-S) of 42.4.

DEQ-Det: Dual Evidence Queries for Few-Shot Analog IC Device Detection

原文摘要

Detecting analog integrated circuit (IC) devices in layout images supports circuit analysis and inspection. With only a few annotated examples, variation in device geometry and visual similarity to dummy or routing structures make reliable detection difficult. Foreground similarity alone can highlight plausible targets without distinguishing them from competing layout patterns. We propose Dual Evidence Queries for Detection (DEQ-Det), which constructs complementary foreground and background references from the same support images without additional annotations. Foreground references capture target morphology, while selected background references characterize surrounding layout patterns. Both sources guide query selection and region verification, combining target appearance with layout context. Across five held-out device categories and three random seeds, DEQ-Det achieves macro AP50 of 39.41 and 53.03 at 10 and 30 shots, exceeding the strongest listed baselines by 3.97 and 9.71 points, respectively. A matched 30-shot ablation further shows that RoI background evidence reduces pooled false positives at comparable recall, supporting its role in interference suppression.

CoGenRec: A Unified Generative Framework for Complementary Vision Reconstruction

原文摘要

Capturing scenes with extreme motion and high dynamic range is fundamentally constrained by trade-offs among temporal resolution, spatial detail, signal-to-noise ratio, and dynamic range under practical bandwidth, power, and quantum-efficiency limits. Conventional frame-based cameras therefore suffer from temporal undersampling, exposure-induced motion blur, and sensor saturation. The Complementary Vision Sensor (CVS) addresses these limitations by decomposing visual information across two complementary pathways, a spatially dense, temporally sparse, long-exposure RGB pathway and a temporally dense, spatially sparse, short-exposure patiotemporal difference pathway. Their complementary measurements provide appearance, structural, and motion cues across a wide dynamic range that enable reconstruction beyond conventional imaging. We present CoGenRec, a complementarity-driven generative reconstruction framework that unifies video deblurring, high-temporal-resolution frame interpolation, and HDR fusion. CoGenRec encodes complementary measurements into multi-scale spatiotemporal features using exposure-aware appearance modeling and bidirectional temporal propagation. These features constrain a video diffusion model and are injected into the VAE decoder to recover fine structures lost during latent-space compression, combining the scene fidelity of physical measurements with the appearance recovery capabilities of learned video priors. On SportsSloMo-CVS, CoGenRec improves PSNR over the strongest general-purpose baseline by 4.40 dB for deblurring, 3.89 dB for frame interpolation, and 5.04 dB for HDR fusion, respectively. It also achieves strong perceptual quality on 129 unseen scenes captured with real CVS. These results establish a unified approach to advance high-quality reconstruction under challenging motion and illumination conditions. Project page: https://cogenrec.github.io/.
