Video diffusion transformers generate high-quality videos, but the quadratic cost of 3D full attention dominates their inference. Dynamic block-sparse attention reduces this cost by computing exact attention only on key/value blocks selected from current activations. However, its fidelity degrades under aggressive sparsity: blocks are scored from coarse summaries or formed by costly global clustering, pruned blocks vanish from the softmax, and whole tiles are kept or dropped even when only a few of their keys matter. To address these limitations, we propose Accurate Block Attention (AB-Attention), a training-free method that accurately approximates dense attention at high sparsity. Its Intra-Block Clustering Selector (IBCS) estimates block importance faithfully yet cheaply by clustering queries only within each query block, without permuting tokens. Sampling with Inclusion-Probability Weighting (SIP) then samples blocks in proportion to these estimates and reweights them by inverse inclusion probability, so that one pass estimates dense attention rather than truncating it. Finally, its kernel gathers key/value blocks much smaller than a tile into full tensor-core tiles, refining selection at no extra tensor-core cost. On Wan2.1 and HunyuanVideo, AB-Attention skips 89--92\% of attention, whereas the baselines compute 1.8--3.6$\times$ as much, yet it still improves PSNR by up to 4.4~dB over the strongest baseline and achieves up to 2.23$\times$ end-to-end speedup. Our code is available at https://github.com/InfRec-Cardinal/AB-Attention.
Diffusion video models produce striking clips, but they cannot reliably render an exact formula, a correct chart, a rule-consistent game or narration synchronized to on-screen events. A different route is emerging: multimodal agents that write code to render every frame and synthesize every sound. We introduce VibeVideoBench, a benchmark for evaluating agents on code-driven video generation. Its 239 self-contained tasks in English and Chinese span 12 categories, from data stories and music-driven pieces to classroom lessons and paper explainers; each asks an agent, running in its native harness inside a sandbox with no image or video generation model, to deliver a finished MP4 with sound within one hour. Evaluation is hierarchical and evidence-based: program checks of the delivery spec, about 13k task-specific rubric checks traced to the requirements they enforce, and five quality dimensions anchored per task, scored by three VLM judge panels. Across nine frontier agent systems and 2,151 scored rollouts, GPT-6 Astra and Claude Opus 5.5 rank first and second with both the judges and human annotators, and the strongest system satisfies every core requirement on 76.3% of tasks. Delivery is a second axis: counting missing videos as zero changes the ranking, and three quarters of the lost videos are final renders that started too late, ran too slowly or never started, a failure of how agents plan their hour. Agents build their own rendering pipelines and inspect their own frames, yet how much they look does not predict quality. The judges' ranking of the systems closely matches blind human preferences.
Streaming 3D perception is well suited to robotics and augmented reality, where long visual streams must be processed efficiently and consistently. Recent recurrent models offer a promising solution by maintaining fixed-size states and enabling linear-time inference, but they often suffer from temporal forgetting over long sequences due to the limited capacity of compressed memories. We propose Mem3R, a streaming 3D reconstruction model with a hybrid memory design that decouples camera tracking from geometric mapping to improve temporal consistency over long sequences. For camera tracking, Mem3R employs an implicit fast-weight memory implemented as a lightweight Multi-Layer Perceptron updated via Test-Time Training. For geometric mapping, Mem3R maintains an explicit token-based fixed-size state. Compared with CUT3R, this design not only significantly improves long-sequence performance but also reduces the model size from 793M to 644M parameters. Mem3R supports existing improved plug-and-play state update strategies developed for CUT3R. Specifically, Mem3R combined with TTT3R reduces absolute trajectory error by up to 39% relative to CUT3R combined with TTT3R on 500- to 1000-frame sequences from the TUM Dynamics dataset. The resulting improvements also extend to other downstream tasks, including video depth estimation and 3D reconstruction. Project page: https://lck666666.github.io/Mem3R/.

Knowing and teaching differ fundamentally: effective instruction requires transforming knowledge into forms learners can grasp. Large language models, when asked to generate lessons (a concrete form of teaching), produce content lacking pedagogical depth. We trace this failure to three decisions that expert teachers make: selecting content by recognizing each source’s instructional role, sequencing topics so foundations precede applications, and synthesizing components into a unified whole. To scaffold these decisions, we introduce TeachCraft, a framework with three agents: Explorer classifies sources by pedagogical intent to guide selection; Planner orders objectives from foundational to advanced; Generator produces lesson materials through a schema that ensures consistency across components. To evaluate this approach, we construct LessonBench, 40 expert-designed lessons paired with two to five heterogeneous source documents, on which TeachCraft achieves 67.8% win rate in human evaluation and 79.6% in LLM-based evaluation against eight baselines, with ablations confirming that each decision contributes independently to overall lesson quality.[Source code is available at https://anonymous.4open.science/r/TeachCraft-1672]

Project-Based Learning (PBL) is an important learning method that promotes understanding and acquiring practical skills through training learners through a project. However, effective PBL often requires sustained orchestration and collaboration, but existing LLM-based learning tools provide partial assistance without explicitly modeling these roles, and overly comprehensive help provided by LLM can reduce learner autonomy. We propose SimPBL, a multi-agent framework with an orchestrator agent that provides adaptive scaffolding from interaction logs and collaborator agents that support project work through boundary-aware collaboration. We conduct comprehensive evaluation to study the effectiveness of SimPBL, where we observe a 14% improvement in learner examination score. Results from extensive studies further highlights the ability of SimPBL to manage learning behavior and improve learning experience. Code and materials are available at https://anonymous.4open.science/r/SimPBL-D5B8.

As large language models continue to advance, their application in educational contexts remains underexplored and under-optimized. In this paper, we address this gap by introducing the first diverse benchmark tailored for educational scenarios, incorporating synthetic data containing 9 major scenarios and over 4,000 distinct educational contexts. To enable comprehensive assessment, we propose a set of multi-dimensional evaluation metrics that cover 12 critical aspects relevant to both teachers and students. We further apply human annotation to ensure the effectiveness of the model-generated evaluation responses. Additionally, we succeed to train a relatively small-scale model on our constructed dataset and demonstrate that it can achieve performance comparable to state-of-the-art large models (e.g., Deepseek V3, Qwen Max) on the test set. Overall, this work provides a practical foundation for the development and evaluation of education-oriented language models.
