ReconDreamer#: Self-Evolving Closed-Loop Synergy of Reconstruction and Generation for Dynamic Driving Scenes

Songling Liu, Guosheng Zhao, Xiaofeng Wang, Chaojun Ni, Guan Huang, Jiwen Lu, Xingang Wang, Zheng Zhu

Dynamic driving scene reconstruction has made remarkable strides in recent years by leveraging generative priors, particularly in the quality of novel trajectory rendering. Nevertheless, a significant gap remains between the generated data and real-world sensor observations, severely hindering further improvements in reconstruction fidelity. In this paper, we present ReconDreamer#, a self-evolving framework that synergizes reconstruction and generation for dynamic driving scenes, which substantially bridges the gap between synthesized novel trajectory data and recorded real-world observations. Within this self-evolving closed-loop framework, the generative and reconstruction models mutually reinforce each other through iterative refinement, ultimately yielding a significant enhancement in the 3D representation capability of the reconstruction model. Additionally, we introduce a geometry-prior-based adaptive ground model to further enhance the rendering quality of the reconstruction model. To validate the effectiveness of the proposed method, we conduct comprehensive evaluations on Waymo, nuScenes, PandaSet, and EUVS benchmarks. Specifically on Waymo, at a 6-m lateral shift, ReconDreamer# improves NTA-IoU and NTL-IoU by 8.8% and 3.0%, respectively, and reduces FID by 15.1% relative to ReconDreamer++.

UA-Depth: Uncertainty-Aware Depth Restoration for Material-Agnostic Object Manipulation

Rui Cao, Jia-Hui Pan, Yin Zhang, Qiwei Meng, Jiapeng Li, Gang Wang, Runsong Zhu, Wei Chen 等 11 位作者

Robotic manipulation requires accurate metric depth, yet commodity RGB-D cameras often fail on non-Lambertian objects such as transparent, reflective, and translucent materials, producing holes, structured noise, and biased depth. Most restoration methods produce only a single depth map, treating noisy and reliable regions uniformly for downstream tasks while ignoring regional uncertainty. We present UA-Depth, an uncertainty-aware depth restoration framework that iteratively co-refines depth and pixel-wise uncertainty, and uses uncertainty-gated features to suppress unreliable cues for stable updates. To strengthen zero-shot behavior, UA-Depth leverages a frozen depth foundation model as a prior to initialize missing or unreliable depth, and applies two-stage MAD-weighted log-depth scale normalization to reduce outlier bias in relative-to-metric alignment. We introduce an eight-dataset zero-shot benchmark across diverse scenes, materials, and sensors. Across these benchmarks, UA-Depth achieves the best mean rank among representative baselines, with particularly strong gains on datasets dominated by transparent and reflective objects. Beyond depth metrics, we demonstrate downstream improvements in category-level 6D pose estimation and 6D grasp synthesis by exploiting the predicted uncertainty. \emph{Code, models, and data for training and evaluation will be released upon publication.}

EMBERS: Empirically Motivated Robustness Testing of Deep Research Systems via Defect-Guided Fuzzing

Shuochuan Li, Zan Wang, Dong Wang, Yuhang Jiang, Huajin Cui, Chen Zhang, Gang Wang, Junjie Chen

Deep Research (DR) systems extend large language models into autonomous agents that decompose complex information needs, iteratively search the web, and synthesize evidence to answer challenging questions. However, their multi-stage execution may introduce robustness risks, as variations in user questions or intermediate search inputs may propagate across research stages and lead to incorrect answers. Existing evaluations focus on task-solving capabilities or robustness against external evidence disturbances, leaving intrinsic weaknesses in DR execution insufficiently explored. Thus, we conduct an empirical study of 1,932 execution trajectories from three representative DR systems and identify nine recurring defect categories across subquestion formulation, online search, and final reasoning. Guided by these findings, we propose EMBERS, an empirically motivated, defect-guided fuzzing framework for robustness testing of DR systems. Starting from correctly answered seed questions, EMBERS generates stage-targeted test inputs using defect-guided mutation, web-search-assisted fidelity assurance, and diversity-aware seed maintenance. Experiments across 16 framework--model--dataset settings show that EMBERS achieves 3.21 times the failure-discovery throughput of the strongest baseline under identical testing budgets. Human and LLM-assisted evaluations demonstrate that most generated inputs preserve the original information need and necessary contextual constraints. Moreover, model fine-tuning experiments show consistent-answer performance improvement, highlighting their value for robustness testing and model improvement.

Cross-Encoder Anchor Refinement for Zero-Shot Anomaly Detection

Kaisong Ji, Ziyang Xu, Chang Bian, Yu Zhou, Wenyu Liu, Xinggang Wang

Zero-shot anomaly detection aims to transfer anomaly discrimination from auxiliary training domains to unseen categories while localizing subtle defects. A key challenge is to construct discriminative references that combine contextual representations with complementary local evidence. We present Cross-Encoder Anchor Refinement (CEAR), which connects two visual encoding paths for the same image at the anchor stage, before normal and anomalous prototypes are constructed. An independent convolutional encoder pretrained for industrial product recognition builds an image-specific memory shared across selected vision transformer (ViT) layers. Spatial anchors read from ViT patch features query this memory through cross-attention and undergo residual refinement. Image-conditioned normal and anomalous queries then gate anchor aggregation to construct prototypes for anomaly scoring. Across 13 industrial and medical datasets, CEAR achieves the best performance in 57 of 68 evaluations spanning image-level detection and pixel-level localization. Notably, CEAR surpasses all other state-of-the-art methods in 41 of 44 pixel-level comparisons. Across 11 localization datasets, mean gains in pixel-level maximum F1 score and average precision are 4.45 and 3.79 percentage points, respectively. This study shows how cross-encoder interaction at the anchor stage can integrate complementary visual representations for fine-grained anomaly localization across domains.

OpenFlyV2: An onboard vision-language-action model for aerial perception and navigation

Junli Liu, Zhongrui You, Chenhui Li, Zhen Li, Yuyang Tian, Qizhen Chen, Delin Qu, Haoming Song 等 12 位作者

Human cognition flexibly draws on a shared perceptual foundation to understand environments, attend to referenced entities, reason about spatial relationships, and act. Endowing aerial robots with an analogous functional organization remains challenging, as existing systems are often specialized for individual capabilities, dependent on offboard computation, or unable to sustain closed-loop operation on resource-constrained platforms. We present OpenFlyV2, a unified onboard vision-language-action architecture that uses a shared vision-language representation to support semantic understanding, language-grounded perception, spatial reasoning, and continuous aerial control within a single model. A compact action expert converts the shared multimodal context into short-horizon flight waypoints, while motion-aware temporal memory and action priors reduce the computational cost of closed-loop execution. We construct \dataset{}, a simulation-based dataset comprising approximately 70,000 navigation trajectories and 60,000 vision-language instruction--response pairs. OpenFlyV2 generates action chunks, each comprising 12 waypoints, entirely onboard at 10 Hz using an NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX. It transfers zero-shot from simulation to physical quadrotor flight, achieving a 48\% navigation success rate across four real-world environments without real-world aerial training data. Extensive results demonstrate that broad vision-language competence and continuous closed-loop flight can coexist within a single model on a resource-constrained aerial platform. Code will be made publicly available at https://github.com/Ideal-ljl/AeroBrain.

OmniDex: Scaling Dexterous Hand Grasping to Diverse Cluttered Scenes

Naiyu Fang, Zhongjin Luo, Yuxin Mo, Siyuan Huang, Jianbo Liu, Yufei Liu, Zheyuan Zhou, Chenkai Jin 等 10 位作者

Dexterous grasping is the foundational primitive in embodied AI, demanding massive data to train robust models. As real-world data collection is expensive, simulation has become the mainstream paradigm. Yet, while cluttered scenes best reflect real-world applications, learning to grasp within them is bottlenecked by a critical scarcity of large-scale data. To resolve this, we curate high-quality 3D objects and supporting bases, proposing a scalable seed-and-filter strategy that bypasses sluggish scene-level optimization. This yields an unprecedented benchmark comprising over 2.6 million scenes and 0.4B scene-specific grasp ground truths, featuring diverse realistic layouts paired with rich semantic and geometric observations. Furthermore, we introduce the OmniDex model to overcome the grasp multimodality and last-millimeter precision errors plaguing current generative models. By coupling Soft Winner-Takes-All learning with human-inspired physical constraints during training, and utilizing physics-driven ranking, our approach achieves robust dexterous grasping without the latency of post-optimization. Experimental results show that OmniDex model achieves state-of-the-art performance and strong generalization across diverse scenes, views, and unseen objects.

离散视觉Token能否作为视觉信号的语义无损表示?

Can Discrete Tokens Serve as Semantically Lossless Representations of Visual Signals?

AI 速览:作者重新审视量化误差导致语义损失的假设,提出有效比特预算才是关键,并引入因子化向量量化(FVQ)使离散表示在多模态理解上媲美连续表示。

Discrete visual tokens represent vision in a discrete form analogous to language, offering a native interface for multimodal modeling under a shared next-token prediction objective. However, quantization error is widely assumed to cause unavoidable semantic loss, fundamentally limiting the semantic fidelity of discrete visual tokens and positioning continuous visual representations as an intrinsic upper bound. Using multimodal understanding as a proxy for semantic fidelity, we revisit this assumption and find quantization error unreliable, as discrete representations with substantially larger errors can achieve better understanding. Instead, the effective bit budget of discrete indices emerges as a key determinant of downstream performance. However, existing quantizers eventually saturate as additional codebooks contribute progressively less semantic information. As one approach to alleviating this saturation, we introduce Factorized Vector Quantization, which quantizes complementary, fixed-dimensional views of the visual feature with symmetric parallel codebooks. It continues to improve at larger bit budgets, ultimately matching continuous visual representations in multimodal understanding. Trained on industrial-scale multimodal data, our model achieves state-of-the-art performance among discrete-representation models, outperforming UniAR and Emu3-Chat by 22.8% and 59.2%, respectively, on a nine-metric average. To our knowledge, it is also the first discrete-representation model competitive with strong continuous-representation models such as Qwen3-VL, including on fine-grained OCR tasks. We further identify the key principles and a practical recipe enabling this competitiveness. These results and insights support the potential of discrete visual representations to underpin large-scale native multimodal foundation models. Zhengrong-Spatial-Aware 1.0: Advancing 3D Multimodal Intelligence

Yu Zhang, Xiaogang Wang, Yuhang Cheng, Jingrui Li, Wenbo Chen

This report presents the implementation and validation of two end-to-end multimodal adaptation pipelines for 3D-aware visual question answering on a custom spatial dataset. The first pipeline fine-tunes HiSpatial-3B, which augments RGB observations with metric-scale 3D point maps; the second adapts Qwen3-VL through memory-efficient QLoRA-based supervised fine-tuning. The completed engineering stack covers dataset conversion, image-annotation alignment, monocular geometry preprocessing, instruction construction, mixed-domain training, checkpoint management, batch inference, and automated evaluation. On the target spatial benchmark, HiSpatial adaptation increases overall accuracy from 1.73% before fine-tuning to 79.89% at 3,600 steps. On a separately collected styled split, accuracy improves from 14.9% to 55.1%, indicating transfer beyond the original training set. The Qwen3-VL pipeline is likewise implemented end-to-end for both 8B- and 32B-scale models using mixed-domain QLoRA adaptation. The resulting accuracy improves from 20.74% to 45.27% for Qwen3-VL-8B and from 30.79% to 47.60% for Qwen3-VL-32B. Together, these results establish two complementary and reproducible adaptation pipelines for geometry-aware and general-purpose multimodal spatial reasoning. These results establish a reproducible engineering foundation for subsequent work on metric 3D reasoning, spatial grounding, and domain-adapted multimodal systems, while also identifying training-data composition as a central factor in preserving general multimodal capability during specialization.

Natural Hard-Negative Mining from Positives for Instruction-Following Retrieval

Chaolang Li, Jingyu Li, Zhaocheng Du, Xuyang Xie, Gang Wang, Pengwen Dai

Instruction-following information retrieval (IFIR) requires retrievers to rank documents by both a query and its instance-specific instructions, yet instruction-conditioned contrastive supervision remains scarce. Existing synthetic methods typically fix a positive passage and generate additional negatives, overlooking the hard-negative potential of the original positive. We propose Natural Hard-Negative Mining (NHNM), which promotes convertible negatives under query-compatible instructions and repurposes original positives as natural instruction hard negatives. Its automated Candidate Cleaning, Reversal Construction, and Geometry Filtering pipeline produces compact, high-contrast supervision aligned with the pretrained retrieval space. Applied to MSMARCO, NHNM yields NHNM-MARCO, an IFIR training set of nearly 7K instances. On InstructIR and FollowIR, models with 568M to 4B parameters fine-tuned on NHNM-MARCO achieve strong instruction-following performance and match or surpass substantially larger retrievers in several settings. Controlled analyses and ablations attribute these gains to natural hard-negative supervision rather than model scale or training-data volume.

Strong yet Controllable LLM Abstention without Learning to Abstain

Junwei Zhang, Yifei Wang, Wanli Yang, Hexiang Tan, Rui Tang, Xin Chen, Jingang Wang, Du Su 等 9 位作者

Large language models (LLMs) can reduce hallucination by abstaining from questions they would likely get wrong. Abstention can be implemented outside the model (selective answering) using a confidence threshold that controls the answer rate (coverage), or learned inside it (abstention training), which can perform better but fixes coverage once trained. To compare the two, we match their coverage and decompose risk (error rate) into answering ability and distinguishing ability, i.e., how well the model answers and how accurately it abstains, respectively. The decomposition shows that abstention training performs better mainly by answering better: with strong confidence estimators, the two have nearly equal distinguishing ability. This motivates Train for Accuracy, then Post-hoc Select (TAPS), a modular approach that keeps coverage controllable, needs only standard post-training and an off-the-shelf confidence estimator, and benefits from advances in either component. Across three LLMs and three factual QA benchmarks, TAPS with a probing-based confidence estimator attains 1.5--9.4 percentage points lower mean risk than three representative abstention training methods at matched coverage. Within TAPS, accuracy training often weakens the model's own confidence signals, yet refitting the estimator largely preserves distinguishing ability. Together, these results establish TAPS as a strong yet controllable baseline and raise the bar for future abstention training: sacrificing control over coverage should yield gains beyond what can be achieved by optimizing answering and abstaining separately.

Beyond Trajectory Imitation: Strategy-Guided Policy Optimization for LLM Reasoning

Tianyuan Shi, Canbin Huang, Bei Li, Xin Chen, Xiaojun Quan, Jingang Wang, Qifan Wang

Distilling reasoning capabilities from strong to weak language models typically involves imitating specific solution trajectories, effectively transferring what to answer rather than how to reason. This trajectory-level imitation encourages memorization of instance-specific steps rather than acquisition of transferable problem-solving skills, limiting generalization to novel problems. We propose Strategy-Guided Policy Optimization (SGPO), which replaces instance-level trajectory imitation with reusable strategy distillation. SGPO extracts structured strategy descriptions from strong-model responses and, for each problem, constructs both autonomous and strategy-guided trajectories to enable direct comparison of the model's behavior with and without strategic guidance. The framework then addresses two key questions. For how to distill, a token-level forward-KL objective selectively transfers the distributional shift induced by strategy conditioning into the unguided policy, with proximal constraints ensuring stability. For when to distill, adaptive instance-level weighting strengthens guidance when autonomous exploration falls short and reduces it as the model's own competence grows. Experiments on four mathematical benchmarks across two model families show that SGPO consistently outperforms SFT, on-policy RL, and hybrid-policy baselines, improving the average score by 2.2 points over the strongest baseline on Qwen2.5-7B-Instruct. Analysis reveals that the forward-KL objective provides an inherently selective distillation signal that outperforms direct trajectory imitation, and that strategy distillation exhibits complementary scaling with base model capability.

XPress: Parallel Refinement for Diffusion Drafters in Speculative Decoding

Zheng Wang, Davis Wertheimer, Yu Chin Fabian Lim, Mudhakar Srivatsa, Raghu K. Ganti, Minjia Zhang, Naigang Wang

Block-diffusion drafters like dFlash generate an entire block of draft tokens in a single forward pass, drastically reducing the overhead of multiple-token drafting in speculative decoding. The crucial final step of the single-pass discrete denoising process involves using the logit distribution at each position to sample conditionally independent tokens. The resulting draft is thus a set of per-position marginals, rather than a joint distribution: no draft token is guaranteed to depend on its predecessors. Such independently sampled marginals tend to produce sequences with tokens that are individually likely, but jointly improbable under the target model's distribution, which verifies each token conditionally. This can cause early rejection and limits acceptance length. To address this, we propose xPress as a means to restore the missing causality in diffusion drafters. xPress is a lightweight causal refiner that reconciles the whole diffusion block at once through parallel refinement, restoring and propagating causal dependencies across the draft without a token-by-token loop. On Qwen3-8B, across seven math, code, and chat benchmarks, xPress raises acceptance length by about 30% on average (up to +56%) and its end-to-end decoding throughput by about 1.3 on average (up to 1.7) compared to the original dFlash diffusion drafter.

LinkQA: Synthesizing Diverse QA from Multiple Seeds Strongly Linked by Knowledge Points

Xuemiao Zhang, Can Ren, Chengying Tu, Rongxiang Weng, Hongfei Yan, Jingang Wang Meituan, Xunliang Cai Meituan

The advancement of large language models (LLMs) struggles with the scarcity of high-quality, diverse training data. To address this limitation, we propose LinkSyn, a KP-graph-based synthesis framework that for the first time enables flexible control over discipline and difficulty distributions while balancing KP coverage and popularity. LinkSyn extracts KPs from question-answering (QA) seed data and constructs a KP graph to synthesize diverse QA data from multiple seeds strongly linked by KPs and sampled from graph walks. Specifically, LinkSyn incorporates (1) a knowledge value function to guide the adjustment of path sampling probability and balance KP coverage and popularity during graph walks; (2) diffusion-based synthesis via a strong reasoning model by leveraging multiple seeds with dense logical associations along each path; and (3) high-difficulty QA enhancement within given disciplines by flexible difficulty adjustments. By executing LinkSyn, we synthesize LinkQA, a diverse multi-disciplinary QA dataset with 50B tokens. Extensive experiments on Llama-3 8B demonstrate that continual pre-training with LinkQA yields an average improvement of 11.51% on MMLU and CMMLU, establishing new SOTA results. LinkQA consistently enhances performance across model size and initial FLOPs scales.

The Evolution of Thought: Tracking LLM Overthinking via Reasoning Dynamics Analysis

Test-time scaling via explicit reasoning trajectories significantly boosts large language model (LLM) performance but often triggers overthinking. To explore this, we analyze reasoning through two lenses: Reasoning Length Dynamics, which reveals a compensatory trade-off between thinking and answer content length that eventually leads to thinking redundancy, and Reasoning Semantic Dynamics, which identifies semantic convergence and repetitive oscillations. These dynamics uncover an instance-specific Reasoning Completion Point (RCP), beyond which computation continues without further performance gain. Since the RCP varies across instances, we propose a Reasoning Completion Point Detector (RCPD), an inference-time early-exit method that identifies the RCP by monitoring the rank dynamics of termination tokens (e.g., lt;/think gt;). Across AIME and GPQA benchmarks using Qwen3 and DeepSeek-R1, RCPD reduces token usage by up to 44% while preserving accuracy, offering a principled approach to efficient test-time scaling.

MTR-Suite: A Framework for Evaluating and Synthesizing Conversational Retrieval Benchmarks

Junhao Ruan, Abudukeyumu Abudula, Bei Li Meituan, Yongjing Yin Meituan, Xinyu Liu, Kechen Jiao, Xin Chen Meituan, Jingang Wang Meituan 等 11 位作者

Accurate evaluation of conversational retrieval is pivotal for advancing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems. However, existing conversational retrieval benchmarks suffer from costly, sparse human annotation or rigid, unnatural automated heuristics. To address these challenges, we introduce MTR-Suite, a unified framework for auditing, synthesizing, and benchmarking retrieval. It features: (1) MTR-Eval, an LLM-based auditor quantifying alignment gaps in previous benchmarks; (2) MTR-Pipeline, a multi-agent system using greedy traversal clustering to generate high-fidelity dialogues at 1/400th human cost; and (3) MTR-Bench, a rigorous general-domain benchmark. MTR-Bench mimics production-style challenges (hard topic switching, verbosity), offering superior discriminative power. We make our code and data publicly available to facilitate future research.

LANG: Reinforcement Learning for Multilingual Reasoning with Language-Adaptive Hint Guidance

Yuchun Fan, Bei Li Meituan, Peiguang Li, Yilin Wang, Yongyu Mu Northeastern University, Jian Yang, Xin Chen Meituan, Rongxiang Weng 等 12 位作者

Reinforcement learning has proven effective for enhancing multi-step reasoning in Large Language Models (LLMs), yet its benefits have not fully translated to multilingual contexts. Existing methods struggle with a fundamental trade-off: prioritizing input-language consistency severely hampers reasoning quality, while prioritizing reasoning often leads to unintended language drift toward English. We address this challenge with LANG, a novel framework that leverages language-conditioned hints to guide exploration in non-English reasoning tasks. Our method incorporates two key mechanisms to prevent dependency on these hints: a progressive decay schedule that gradually withdraws scaffolding, and a language-adaptive switch that tailors learning horizons to specific language difficulties. Empirical results on challenging multilingual mathematical benchmarks reveal that LANG substantially enhances reasoning performance without compromising language consistency. Moreover, we show that our framework generalizes beyond mathematics, fostering more consistent language alignment across model layers.

BaseCal: Unsupervised Confidence Calibration via Base Model Signals

Hexiang Tan, Wanli Yang, Junwei Zhang, Xin Chen Meituan, Rui Tang, Du Su Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Jingang Wang Meituan, Yuanzhuo Wang Chinese Academy of Sciences 等 10 位作者

Reliable confidence is essential for trusting the outputs of LLMs, yet widely deployed post-trained LLMs (PoLLMs) typically compromise this trust with severe overconfidence. In contrast, we observe that their corresponding base LLMs often remain well-calibrated. This naturally motivates us to calibrate PoLLM confidence using the base LLM as a reference. This work proposes two ways to achieve this. A straightforward solution, BaseCal-ReEval, evaluates PoLLM’s responses by feeding them into the base LLM to get average probabilities as confidence. While effective, this approach introduces additional inference overhead. To address this, we propose BaseCal-Proj, which trains a lightweight projection to map the final-layer hidden states of PoLLMs back to those of their base LLMs. These projected states are then processed by the base LLM’s output layer to derive base-calibrated confidence for PoLLM’s responses. Notably, BaseCal is an unsupervised, plug-and-play solution that operates without human labels or LLM modifications. Experiments across five datasets and three LLM families demonstrate the effectiveness of BaseCal, reducing Expected Calibration Error (ECE) by an average of 42.90% compared to the best unsupervised baselines.

Efficient Learned Data Compression via Dual-Stream Feature Decoupling

Huidong Ma, Xinyan Shi, Sun Hui, Xiaofei Yue, Xiaoguang Liu, Gang Wang Nankai University, Wentong Cai Nanyang Technological University

While Learned Data Compression (LDC) has achieved superior compression ratios, balancing precise probability modeling with system efficiency remains challenging. Crucially, uniform single-stream architectures struggle to simultaneously capture micro-syntactic and macro-semantic features, necessitating deep serial stacking that exacerbates latency. Compounding this, heterogeneous systems are constrained by device speed mismatches, where throughput is capped by Amdahl’s Law due to serial processing. To this end, we propose a Dual-Stream Multi-Scale Decoupler that disentangles local and global contexts to replace deep serial processing with shallow parallel streams, and incorporate a Hierarchical Gated Refiner for adaptive feature refinement and precise probability modeling. Furthermore, we design a Concurrent Stream-Parallel Pipeline, which overcomes systemic bottlenecks to achieve full-pipeline parallelism. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our method achieves state-of-the-art performance in both compression ratio and throughput, while maintaining the lowest latency and memory usage. The code is available at https://github.com/huidong-ma/FADE.

Unlocking Implicit Experience: Synthesizing Tool-Use Trajectories from Text

Zhihao Xu, Rumei Li Meituan, Jiahuan Li Meituan, Rongxiang Weng, Jingang Wang Meituan, Xunliang Cai Meituan, Xiting Wang Renmin University of China

Enabling Large Language Models (LLMs) to effectively utilize tools in multi-turn interactions is essential for building capable autonomous agents. However, acquiring diverse and realistic multi-turn tool-use data remains a significant challenge. In this work, we propose a novel text-based paradigm. We observe that textual corpora naturally contain rich, multi-step problem-solving experiences, which can serve as an untapped, scalable, and authentic data source for multi-turn tool-use tasks. Based on this insight, we introduce GEM, a data synthesis pipeline that enables the generation and extraction of multi-turn tool-use trajectories from text corpora through a four-stage process: relevance filtering, workflow tool extraction, trajectory grounding, and complexity refinement. To reduce the computational cost, we further train a specialized Trajectory Synthesizer via supervised fine-tuning. This model distills the complex generation pipeline into an efficient, end-to-end trajectory generator. Experiments demonstrate that our GEM-32B achieve a 14.9% improvement on the BFCL V3 Multi-turn benchmark. Our models partially surpass the performance of models trained on -bench (Airline and Retail) in-domain data, highlighting the superior generalization capability derived from our text-based synthesis paradigm. Notably, our Trajectory Synthesizer matches the quality of the full pipeline while significantly reducing inference latency and costs.

Towards Efficient and Effective Diffusion Language Model Inference via Semantic-Aware Adaptive Denoising

Diffusion language models (DLMs) have emerged as a powerful non-autoregressive alternative to GPT-style sequential generation, but suffer from substantial computational overhead due to their iterative parallel denoising. Existing acceleration works cannot accurately detect semantically stabilized tokens and then skip computation, leading to sub-optimal speedup in practice. This paper presents the first systematic study of convergence dynamics in DLMs. Innovative observations include the misalignment between traditionally used scalar detection criterion and the semantic convergence, and the post-peak confidence score, that wastes denoising computation and degrades inference quality. To address these limitations, we propose Ada-DLM, a semantic-aware adaptive denoising framework that encodes the trajectory of scalar confidence scores into an evolution-aware feature vector and then clusters vectors proactively and adaptively identify semantically converged tokens. Furthermore, we incorporate system-level optimizations to maximize runtime efficiency. Experiments show that Ada-DLM consistently outperforms the SOTA competitor, achieving up to 2x speedup and 19% quality improvement. That offers a practical path toward efficient high-quality DLM deployment.
