Neural theorem proving increasingly uses retrieved premises and project context to support proof generation. Evaluating these resources requires measuring the advantage of target-selected declarations over comparable alternatives and how this advantage depends on training. We introduce LeanContext, a benchmark of 129,826 Lean whole-proof generation problems, to investigate these questions. We group selected complete preceding mathematical declarations as Mathematical Context (MC) and the remaining selected local source commands as Environment Context (EC). Four aligned input views support crossed training and inference evaluations with shared targets and original Lean verification environments. For both diffusion- and autoregressive-based models, selected declarations outperform comparable alternatives by a larger margin when training includes MC. Final-input audits identify omitted declarations referenced by the target. Prioritizing these dependencies improves Pass@32 by 1.40% and 1.70% for LLaDA and Llama, respectively, on 2,000 targets. The selection experiment operates without access to target reference proofs and holds checkpoints, EC, and inference budgets constant. The code and dataset are available at https://github.com/haaaardcvZ/LeanContext.

原文摘要

Large Reasoning Models (LRMs) achieve strong performance on table reasoning tasks but incur substantial inference cost due to long reasoning traces. Stepwise model routing mitigates this issue by dynamically assigning reasoning steps to smaller or larger models. However, stepwise model routing for table reasoning remains underexplored. Through empirical analysis, we find that reasoning steps involving tables contain two types of tokens with distinct uncertainty distributions: table tokens grounded in table structure, such as cell values and headers, and text tokens representing surrounding natural-language reasoning. The uncertainty of both token types is correlated with the risk that the model makes an error in the next reasoning step. However, existing methods fail to model them separately, leading to suboptimal routing decisions. To address this, we propose EcoTab, a table-aware stepwise routing framework for efficient table reasoning. At each reasoning step, EcoTab separately estimates the uncertainties of table tokens and text tokens, maps them to next-step failure risks for the small model, and combines the two risks for routing. Experiments on multiple table reasoning benchmarks show that EcoTab consistently outperforms strong baselines and achieves a better balance between accuracy and efficiency.

Rubric-Guided Process Reward for Stepwise Model Routing

原文摘要

Stepwise model routing improves the efficiency of Large Reasoning Models (LRMs) by assigning each reasoning step to a suitable model. Recent methods formulate routing as a sequential decision process and train the router with reinforcement learning. However, although they model routing as a process, they still supervise the router with outcome rewards. Such rewards only reflect final answer correctness and fail to evaluate intermediate routing decisions, which can weaken performance and generalization. To address this gap, we propose RoRo, a rubric-guided process reward framework for stepwise model routing. RoRo first collects diverse routing trajectories and constructs preference pairs based on outcome, cost, and process quality. It then trains a Rubricor to generate a query-specific evaluation rubric and a Judge to score routing trajectories under this rubric through alternating optimization. The resulting process rewards are combined with outcome rewards to optimize the routing policy via GRPO. Experiments on five reasoning benchmarks under both same-family and cross-family settings show that RoRo consistently outperforms strong baselines and achieves better accuracy and cost trade-offs.

MATCH: Execution-Aware Hierarchical Reinforcement Learning for Vision-and-Language Navigation in Continuous Environment

Shuhao Ye, Yufei Wei, Demao Wang, Shichao Zhai, Rong Xiong, Yue Wang

原文摘要

Vision-and-Language Navigation in Continuous Environments (VLN-CE) requires instruction-consistent planning and reliable execution under collision constraints. Yet many hierarchical approaches optimize the planner while keeping execution fixed. We introduce MATCH, a framework that jointly learns a language-conditioned planner and a goal-conditioned primitive-action executor. An execution-aware topological graph represents start-dependent execution options and integrates executor value estimates with realized outcome memory, enabling the planner to select execution requests and refine their targets through bounded continuous offsets. A transition-aware dense macro reward balances ordered progress along the reference route against execution residual, encouraging executable requests without substituting local success for instruction following. A staged curriculum culminates in synchronized on-policy updates, with the executor learning on planner-generated requests and the planner adapting its requests to the executor's current behavior. With 0.5B parameters, MATCH achieves state-of-the-art performance on the R2R-CE and RxR-CE benchmarks. Preliminary real-robot deployments further demonstrate its practical potential.

RSKD: Grounding Semantic Consistency in Driving VLMs via Distillation

Chuchu Xie, Yang Zhong, Kangan Qian, Hao Ye, Kun Jiang, Diange Yang

原文摘要

Knowledge distillation can transfer large multimodal models to compact models for autonomous driving, but uniform token-level matching can dilute planning-relevant semantics and amplify teacher errors. We propose RSKD, a semantic-consistency-guided distillation framework that routes supervision according to both the task importance of an answer phrase and its semantic consistency with the teacher prediction. Task-critical semantic phrases are localized in the ground-truth answer, and a phrase-level consistency score controls the balance between Jensen--Shannon divergence (JSD) distillation and ground-truth supervision. Teacher information is emphasized only where it is semantically consistent, while semantically inconsistent phrases receive stronger ground-truth supervision. We evaluate RSKD on DrivingVQA, LingoQA, and MapLMv2. RSKD improves over the compared student-based baselines on DrivingVQA and LingoQA and remains competitive on MapLMv2.

A Novel Matching Paradigm: Unified Generative and Discriminative LLM with Prompt Compression for Relevance Learning

Guoliang Zhao, Zixin Cui, Chao Ye, Dengwu He, Fei Huang, Yubo Liu, Shuanglong Li, Tzungren Kuo 等 13 位作者

原文摘要

The matching paradigm is fundamental to large-scale information retrieval and is widely used in industrial search and advertising systems. Existing approaches employ Large Language Models (LLMs) primarily as feature extractors, underutilizing their full modeling capabilities. To address this limitation, we propose a novel matching paradigm, termed the Unified Generative and Discriminative LLM (UGD). It integrates two-tower, single-tower, and generative tasks within a unified LLM framework via attention-mask partitioning, enabling generative tasks to serve as auxiliary supervision for discriminative learning and facilitating distillation from single-tower to two-tower architectures through a multi-task fine-tuning mechanism. To satisfy online latency constraints, we further introduce a self-distillation variant of UGD with a KMeans-enhanced linearized RQVAE for prompt compression and quantization. This design compresses and quantizes landing-page documents during inference, improving serving efficiency and reducing storage overhead. Extensive experiments show that UGD achieves superior performance and strong practical value. The framework has been deployed in an industrial search engine serving hundreds of millions of users and hundreds of thousands of advertisers, significantly enhancing search experience. 原文摘要

Table question answering (TableQA) is a fundamental task in natural language processing (NLP). The strong reasoning capabilities of large language models (LLMs) have brought significant advances in this field. However, as real-world applications involve increasingly complex questions and larger tables, substantial noisy data is introduced, which severely degrades reasoning performance. To address this challenge, we focus on improving two core capabilities: Relevance Filtering, which identifies and retains information truly relevant to reasoning, and Table Pruning, which reduces table size while preserving essential content. Based on these principles, we propose EnoTab, a dual denoising framework for complex questions and large-scale tables. Specifically, we first perform Evidence-based Question Denoising by decomposing the question into minimal semantic units and filtering out those irrelevant to answer reasoning based on consistency and usability criteria. Then, we propose Evidence Tree-guided Table Denoising, which constructs an explicit and transparent table pruning path to remove irrelevant data step by step. At each pruning step, we observe the intermediate state of the table and apply a post-order node rollback mechanism to handle abnormal table states, ultimately producing a highly reliable sub-table for final answer reasoning. Finally, extensive experiments show that EnoTab achieves outstanding performance on TableQA tasks with complex questions and large-scale tables, confirming its effectiveness.

Everyone is unique: Towards Behaviorally Heterogeneous Negotiation Dialogue Systems for Debt Collection

Yuhang Yang, Kai Tang Zhejiang University, Chao Ye, Haobo Wang Zhejiang University, Qiqi Luo Alibaba Group, Jin Guang Zheng Alibaba Group, Zhixin Zhang

原文摘要

Debt collection is a critical negotiation task in the financial industry, with strong practical relevance and exceptional academic value as a behaviorally rich, high-stakes testbed for human-centered dialogue systems. While large language models (LLMs) have shown promise in dialogue and negotiation, effectively evaluating their performance in this complex scenarios remains a major challenge: existing benchmarks uniformly assume users to be static, rational agents with fixed preferences, failing to capture the rich behavioral heterogeneity inherent in real-world debt collection. To bridge this gap, we propose DebtBench, the first public persona-enriched debt collection benchmark, that highlights behavioral heterogeneity in negotiation. Moreover, we develop DebtGPT, a debt collection agent trained to jointly optimize financial recovery and interaction experience. Our experimental results, using 16 state-of-the-art LLMs, find that most existing models struggle in this complex but realistic scenarios, whereas DebtGPT outperforms all open-source baselines and achieves performance on par with GPT-4o. The code and data are available at https://github.com/yyuhhhh13/DebtNegotiation.

HCSpec: Two-Tier Horizontal Cascade Speculative Decoding for High-Efficiency Large Language Model Inference

Yizhou Zhang Lanzhou University, Siming Chen, Hao Ye, Erhu Feng Shanghai Jiaotong University

原文摘要

Speculative decoding accelerates large language model (LLM) inference by using a draft model to propose token candidates for parallel verification by the target model. However, current state-of-the-art self-distilled draft models adopt a homogeneous architecture across all drafting positions, failing to account for a critical empirical observation: the expected utility of drafting decays rapidly after the initial positions. To exploit this imbalance, we propose Two-tier Horizontal Cascade Speculative Decoding (HCSpec), a novel framework that organizes heterogeneous, position-specialized draft modules into a horizontal cascade. The first tier employs a dual-layer, dual-path transformer that enhances early-step fidelity by decoupling token-logit prediction from recurrent feature propagation, while the second tier adopts a lightweight single-layer transformer that deliberately trades marginal accuracy for improved efficiency at later drafting steps. Extensive experiments on Qwen series models and Llama3.1-8B-Instruct, across multiple tasks and diverse inference configurations, demonstrate that HCSpec consistently outperforms the previous state-of-the-art (EAGLE-3). It delivers 15–30% higher end-to-end speedup over EAGLE-3 and achieves up to 3.72x acceleration over vanilla autoregressive decoding. Our code is provided in the supplementary materials.

Rethinking Table Pruning in TableQA: From Sequential Revisions to Gold Trajectory-Supervised Parallel Search

Yu Guo University of Science and Technology of China, Shenghao Ye University of Science and Technology of China, Shuangwu Chen, Zijian Wen, Tao Zhang University of Science and Technology of China, Bai Qirui, Dong Jin, Yunpeng Hou 等 11 位作者

原文摘要

Table Question Answering (TableQA) benefits significantly from table pruning, which extracts compact sub-tables by eliminating redundant cells to streamline downstream reasoning. However, existing pruning methods typically rely on sequential revisions driven by unreliable critique signals, often failing to detect the loss of answer-critical data. To address this limitation, we propose TabTrim, a novel table pruning framework which transforms table pruning from sequential revisions to gold trajectory-supervised parallel search. TabTrim derives a gold pruning trajectory using the intermediate sub-tables in the execution process of gold SQL queries, and trains a pruner and a verifier to make the step-wise pruning result align with the gold pruning trajectory. During inference, TabTrim performs parallel search to explore multiple candidate pruning trajectories and identify the optimal sub-table. Extensive experiments demonstrate that TabTrim achieves state-of-the-art performance across diverse tabular reasoning tasks: TabTrim-8B reaches 73.5% average accuracy, outperforming the strongest baseline by 3.2%, including 79.4% on WikiTQ and 61.2% on TableBench.

SpecCache: Speculative KV Cache Reuse for Efficient RAG Serving

Zijian Wen, Tao Zhang University of Science and Technology of China, Shuangwu Chen, Shenghao Ye University of Science and Technology of China, Yu Guo University of Science and Technology of China, Qirui Chen University of Science and Technology of China, Jingxian Shuai, Yunpeng Hou 等 10 位作者

原文摘要

Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) significantly enhances LLMs but faces high prefill latency during long-context processing. While KV cache reuse can mitigate this, current methods relying on shallow features or static heuristics often fail to identify critical tokens for recomputation, resulting in generation quality degradation. We have an insight that KV deviations are more pronounced in deep layers. However, directly extracting deep-layer features from the target model is computationally prohibitive. Crucially, we find that the deep-layer features of a lightweight speculative model exhibit strong consistency with the target model in the selection of critical tokens for recomputation. In light of these insights, we propose SpecCache, which employs deep-layer hidden-state norms from a speculative model as a proxy to guide the critical token selection for target large model.Experiments demonstrate that SpecCache outperforms state-of-the-art (SOTA) baselines. Compared to full KV recomputation, it reduces time-to-first-token (TTFT) by 2.17-3.95\times and increases inference throughput by 2.7-5.2\times, with negligible degradation in generation quality relative to full recomputation.
