Cross-chain transactions today remain slow, costly, and fragmented. Existing custodial exchanges expose users to counterparty and centralization risks, while non-custodial liquidity bridges suffer from capital inefficiency and slow settlement; critically, neither approach guarantees users a unilateral path to recover assets if the infrastructure fails. We introduce the Delegated Ownership Transfer (DOT) paradigm, which decouples key ownership from value ownership to enable secure, high-performance cross-chain payments. In DOT, a user deposits funds into a sandboxed on-chain Temporary Account (TA) (value ownership) while delegating its private key (key ownership) to an abstract Trusted Entity (TE). Payments and swaps are thus reframed as near-instant, off-chain ownership handoffs. Security follows from dual guarantees: the TE's exclusive control prevents double-spending, while a pre-signed, unilateral recovery transaction ensures users retain ultimate authority over their assets. Building on this foundation, we design a novel off-chain atomic swap that executes optimistically in near real time and remains fair even if the TE fails. We formalize the security of DOT in the Universal Composability framework and present two concrete instantiations: a high-performance design based on Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) and a cryptographically robust variant leveraging threshold cryptography. Our geo-distributed prototype shows that cross-chain payments complete in under 16.70 ms and atomic swaps in under 33.09 ms, with costs fully decoupled from Layer-1 gas fees. These results provide a practical blueprint for building secure, efficient, and interoperable cross-chain payment systems.

Advances in speech synthesis have made deepfake speeches increasingly convincing, posing growing threats to security. While self-supervised learning (SSL) based detectors achieve state-of-the-art performance, their computational demands (typically 300M+ parameters) prevent deployment on resource-constrained devices. Existing compression methods, designed mainly for content-centric tasks, struggle to maintain competitive performance when directly adapted to deepfake detection. We propose a Task-Aware Joint Pruning and Distillation framework that combines cross-domain knowledge distillation with movement-guided structured pruning to transfer forgery-discriminative knowledge and preserve critical structures under aggressive compression. Our framework reduces the model to 31.9M parameters with 6.3$\times$ FLOPs reduction, with an average performance drop of only 1.30\% across multiple datasets compared to the uncompressed baseline, demonstrating strong potential for on-device deployment.
Large language model agents automate web penetration testing through observation-action loops, enabling defenders to influence decisions with deceptive decoy observations. Advanced agents can recognize and bypass static decoys, then refocus on real targets. We propose AgentSnare, a trajectory-adaptive deception system that expands a decoy environment alongside exploration. For online deployment, ShadowOS combines an LLM-driven decoy constructor with a virtual kernel. Conditioned on exploration, it generates decoy artifacts that the kernel materializes and handles consistently across interactions, sustaining long-horizon exploration. Because deploying a powerful LLM for decoy construction is costly and slow, we train a small LLM using an offline adversarial interaction-simulation framework. It synthesizes multi-round trajectories by generating candidates and retaining those that sustain simulated interactions. Across 15 CVE-Bench web applications and four attacker models, AgentSnare absorbs 49.9% of tool calls to delay attacks, retains 57.2% of post-entry actions in the decoy to divert trajectories, and grounds 89.5% of completion reports in decoy evidence to defuse threats; across 60 attacker-CVE pairs, no real target is exploited at pass@3.
Diffusion transformers have become the most powerful models for visual generation, but still suffer from massive computation costs. To solve this problem, feature caching has been proposed to cache the features of diffusion models in the previous computation steps and then reuse them in the following caching steps, which brings significant acceleration but also degradation in generation quality. To address this problem, this paper proposes Z-cache as a feature caching method that can maintain high-quality generation through self-reflection. Concretely, we observe that the error from feature caching tends to be sharply reduced after each full computation. Based on this observation, Z-Cache is designed to first predict the features in the future caching steps and then perform a full computation. After that, Z-Cache returns to the caching steps and re-predicts them based on the previous and the current computation steps, which brings correction in features. Experiments demonstrate that with Z-Cache, diffusion transformers achieve comparable generation quality to the original model but with faster inference speed, for instance, 6.22X acceleration on FLUX-dev for text-to-image generation. Our code is released on GitHub.

Privacy policies are essential for users to understand how service providers handle their personal data. However, these documents are often long and complex, as well as filled with technobabble and legalese, causing users to unknowingly accept terms that may even contradict the law. While summarizing and interpreting these privacy policies is crucial, there is a lack of high-quality English parallel corpus optimized for legal clarity and readability. To address this issue, we introduce APPSI-139, a high-quality English privacy policy corpus meticulously annotated by domain experts, specifically designed for summarization and interpretation tasks. The corpus includes 139 English privacy policies, 15,692 rewritten parallel corpora, and 36,351 fine-grained annotation labels across 11 data practice categories. Concurrently, we propose TCSI-pp-V2, a hybrid privacy policy summarization and interpretation framework that employs an alternating training strategy and coordinates multiple expert modules to effectively balance computational efficiency and accuracy. Experimental results show that the hybrid summarization system built on APPSI-139 corpus and the TCSI-pp-V2 framework outperform large language models, such as GPT-4o and LLaMA-3-70B, in terms of readability and reliability. The source code and dataset are available at https://github.com/EnlightenedAI/APPSI-139.

Continual Pre-training (CPT) serves as a fundamental approach for adapting foundation models to domain-specific applications. Scaling laws for pre-training define a power-law relationship between dataset size and the test loss of an LLM. However, the marginal gains from simply increasing data for CPT diminish rapidly, yielding suboptimal data utilization and inefficient training. To address this challenge, we propose a novel perplexity-aware data scaling law to establish a predictive relationship between the perplexity landscape of domain-specific data and the test loss. Our approach leverages the pre-trained model’s own perplexity on domain data as a proxy for estimating the knowledge gap, effectively quantifying the informational perplexity landscape of candidate training samples. By fitting this scaling law across diverse perplexity regimes, we enable adaptive selection of high-utility data subsets, prioritizing content that maximizes knowledge absorption while minimizing redundancy and noise. Extensive experiments on both medical and general-domain benchmarks demonstrate that our method consistently identifies near-optimal training subsets, achieving superior performance with significantly reduced data consumption.
