Real-world forgery is inherently heterogeneous: it manifests not only as digital manipulation but also as physical spoofing, and is carried not only by images but also by videos. Despite substantial progress, a unified anti-forgery foundation model covering such a broad threat spectrum remains absent. In this paper, we present Venus-DefakerOne2, which substantially extends the forensic capability boundary along both the forgery-form and media-type dimensions. Trained on tens of millions of open-source and in-house samples, it incorporates two key designs. Tide-Style-Tuning alternates LoRA and full-parameter fine-tuning to balance computational efficiency, generalization, and hard-sample fitting while mitigating catastrophic forgetting. Entropy-based Test Adaptation determines the optimal prediction modality by analyzing prediction entropy. Venus-DefakerOne2 achieves new state-of-the-art performance across a comprehensive suite of benchmarks, including DeepFake faces (96.7%), AI-generated images (93.3%), tampered documents (87.6%), manipulated natural images (89.6%), physical spoofs (93.1%), and AI-generated videos (96.0%). It significantly outperforms both specialized expert models and its predecessor, DefakerOne, establishing itself as a powerful and versatile foundation model for binary-decision forensic tasks.

Multimodal Retrieval-Augmented Generation (MRAG) enhances reasoning capabilities by integrating external knowledge. However, existing benchmarks primarily focus on simple image-text interactions, overlooking complex visual formats like charts that are prevalent in real-world applications. In this work, we introduce a novel task, \textbf{Chart-based MRAG}, to address this limitation. To generate high-quality evaluation samples, we propose \textbf{CHARGE} (\textbf{CHAR}t-based document question-answering \textbf{GE}neration), a semi-automatic framework for generating evaluation samples through multi-modal keypoint extraction, knowledge graph construction, and qa pair synthesis.By combining CHARGE with expert validation, we construct \textbf{Chart-MRAG Bench}, a comprehensive benchmark for chart-based MRAG evaluation, featuring 4,738 question-answering pairs across 8 domains from real-world documents. Our experiments reveal three critical limitations in current approaches: (1) unified multimodal embedding retrieval methods struggles in chart-based scenarios, (2) even with ground-truth retrieval, state-of-the-art Multimodal Large Language Models (MLLMs) achieve only 71.15% Correctness and 80.74% Coverage scores, and (3) Widely-used MLLMs demonstrate consistent text-over-visual modality bias. These findings highlight great challenges in processing information-dense visual formats. We will make our code and dataset publicly available.

Generative recommendation, which directly generates item identifiers, has emerged as a promising paradigm for recommendation systems. However, this left-to-right paradigm inherently biases the model towards local contexts, failing to capture deeper historical dependencies necessary for understanding complex user intents. To address this limitation, we propose Masked History Learning (MHL), a novel training framework that shifts the objective from simple next-step prediction to deep comprehension of history. MHL augments the standard autoregressive objective with an auxiliary task of reconstructing masked historical items, compelling the model to understand "why” an item path is formed from the user’s past behaviors, rather than just "what” item comes next.We introduce two key contributions to enhance this framework: (1) an entropy-guided masking policy that intelligently targets the most informative historical items for reconstruction, and (2) a curriculum learning scheduler that progressively transitions from history reconstruction to future prediction.Experiments on three public datasets show that our method significantly outperforms state-of-the-art generative models, highlighting that a comprehensive understanding of the past is crucial for accurately predicting a user’s future path. The code is available at https://github.com/CQU-MM-Intelligent-Lab/MHL.
