Building and scaling computer-using agents (CUAs) across desktop, mobile, and web environments requires reliable task-completion verification for data curation, evaluation, and reinforcement learning. Typical automated approaches prompt vision-language models (VLMs) to judge trajectories or generate programs to inspect application state. However, both rely on partial views of complex digital environments. VLM judges are restricted to supplied observations, while generated programs depend on accessible state. These views can omit decisive evidence or leave completion judgments unsupported. Tailoring separate verifiers to different platforms and access settings adds further engineering cost. We present VeriCUA, a platform-agnostic framework for verification through agentic exploration. It treats verification as dynamic evidence gathering and assessment within a shared procedure for online and offline settings across platforms and observation modalities. After inspecting the available context to construct a task rubric, the verifier selects GUI or code checks for unresolved requirements and combines their findings under explicit evidence rules. Experiments show improved agreement with reference labels over the compared baselines across these settings, with the largest offline gains on hard cases and stronger rejection of false completion claims online. Further analyses connect these gains to complementary evidence and test-time exploration.
The advancement of Large Language Models (LLMs) has catalyzed the development of autonomous agents capable of navigating complex environments. However, existing evaluations primarily adopt a deductive paradigm, where agents execute tasks based on explicitly provided rules and static goals, often within limited planning horizons. Crucially, this neglects the inductive necessity for agents to discover latent transition laws from experience autonomously, which is the cornerstone for enabling agentic foresight and sustaining strategic coherence. To bridge this gap, we introduce OdysseyArena, which re-centers agent evaluation on long-horizon, active, and inductive interactions. We formalize and instantiate four primitives, translating abstract transition dynamics into concrete interactive environments. Building upon this, we establish OdysseyArena-Lite for standardized benchmarking, providing a set of 120 tasks to measure an agent's inductive efficiency and long-horizon discovery. Pushing further, we introduce OdysseyArena-Challenge to stress-test agent stability across extreme interaction horizons (e.g., > 200 steps). Extensive experiments on 15+ leading LLMs reveal that even frontier models exhibit a deficiency in inductive scenarios, identifying a critical bottleneck in the pursuit of autonomous discovery in complex environments. While Vision-Language Models (VLMs) have significantly advanced Computer-Using Agents (CUAs), current agentic frameworks struggle with robustness in novel domains and long-horizon workflows due to the absence of visual-aware tutorial retrieval and the lack of granular control over historical visual context curation and pruning. To bridge these gaps, we introduce OS-Symphony, a holistic framework that comprises an Orchestrator coordinating two key innovations for robust automation: (1) a Reflection-Memory Agent that utilizes milestone-driven long-term memory to enable trajectory-level self-correction, effectively mitigating visual context loss in long-horizon tasks; (2) Versatile Tool Agents featuring a Multimodal Searcher that adopts a “SeeAct” paradigm to navigate a browser-based sandbox to synthesize live, visually aligned tutorials, thereby resolving fidelity issues in unseen scenarios. Experimental results demonstrate that OS-Symphony delivers substantial performance gains across varying model scales, establishing new state-of-the-art results on three online benchmarks, notably achieving 65.84% on OSWorld. All research assets will be made publicly available.

Computer-using agents powered by Vision-Language Models (VLMs) have demonstrated human-like capabilities in operating digital environments like mobile platforms. While these agents hold great promise for advancing digital automation, their potential for unsafe operations, such as system compromise and privacy leakage, is raising significant concerns. Detecting these safety concerns across the vast and complex operational space of mobile environments presents a formidable challenge that remains critically underexplored. To establish a foundation for mobile agent safety research, we introduce MobileRisk-Live, a dynamic sandbox environment accompanied by a safety detection benchmark comprising realistic trajectories with fine-grained annotations. Built upon this, we propose OS-Sentinel, a novel hybrid safety detection framework that synergistically combines a Formal Verifier for detecting explicit system-level violations with a VLM-based Contextual Judge for assessing contextual risks and agent actions. Experiments show that achieves 10%–30% improvements over existing approaches across multiple metrics. Further analysis provides critical insights that foster the development of safer and more reliable autonomous mobile agents. Acquiring high-quality instruction-code pairs is essential for training Large Language Models for code generation. While automated synthesis has emerged as an alternative to expensive manual curation, current approaches often rely on rigid heuristics, yielding data that is ungrounded or lacks logical complexity. We propose CodeEvo, a dual-agent architecture comprising a Coder for iterative solution synthesis and a Reviewer to orchestrate the generation trajectory. To transcend the limitations of existing heuristics, the Reviewer formulates a Schema to systematically architect logic and complexity through an interleaved synthesis of instructions and code. This process is further reinforced by a hybrid verification protocol synergizing deterministic compiler feedback with semantic evaluation. Under this framework, we construct CodeEvo-100K, a large-scale dataset of instruction–code pairs with stepped difficulty levels. Extensive experiments demonstrate that models fine-tuned on CodeEvo data significantly outperform established baselines across code generation benchmarks. In-depth analyses further provide insights into effective code-centric data synthesis. Code and data are available at https://github.com/QiushiSun/CodeEvo.
