AI 速览:将2,118本大学数学教科书转化为约38万条保留章节顺序与命题-证明结构的证明监督记录,并研究课程学习与规模规律。

Mathematical supervision for language models is typically flattened into isolated problem-solution pairs, discarding the curricular organization and evidential structure of the original sources. We introduce TOME-Math (Textbook-Oriented Mathematical Evidence), a large-scale corpus that converts 2,118 textbooks spanning the core areas of university-level mathematics subjects into approximately 380K structured proof-supervision records while preserving chapter order, proposition-proof links, dependency references, and source provenance. Leveraging these structural signals, we explore curriculum learning across multiple mathematical subjects and characterize scaling patterns with supervision volume and source breadth. At full scale, fine-tuning on TOME-Math raises the unweighted mean score across our held-out evaluations and established public benchmarks by 16.7 percentage points over the base model, while exceeding all three public instruction-data baselines evaluated in aggregate. Our findings highlight structured textbooks as both a scalable source of mathematical supervision and an empirical framework for studying the impact of data organization on mathematical reasoning. We will release the corpus to facilitate further research on structured mathematical supervision.

Breadcrumbing Search Agents: Per-Turn Scheming Over Long-Horizon Trajectories

Xuebin Li, Hanqing Zhao, Siyuan Liang, Kejiang Chen, Weiming Zhang, Dacheng Tao, Nenghai Yu

LLM-based search agents are widely used for information-seeking tasks, but their reliance on external tool returns introduces a critical security risk: web content retrieved during execution is untrusted, exposing agents to prompt injection and goal hijacking. Prior work on search-agent safety primarily focuses on static web-content injection, but modern agents issue follow-up queries and cross-check competing sources, so a single injected page is often diluted or rejected. We show that the channel delivering search and page observations is a fragile security boundary: beyond exposing the agent to a single poisoned page, a mediated search interface can repeatedly steer how the agent gathers evidence and forms its final answer. Under a constrained tool-intermediary threat model, appending only one controlled result per query can substantially increase attack success when the evidence is coordinated across the agent's trajectory. We study this setting with a strategy-driven long-horizon attack system and introduce Authority-Chain Hijack (ACH), an expert-refined strategy that turns isolated search-result and page-content manipulations into a coherent evidence chain across seemingly corroborating sources. ACH achieves the highest Overall ASR among all baselines, reaching 55.9% / 83.3% ASR / MaxN ASR on the full SafeSearch test split. We further introduce Trace-Guided Strategy Evolution (TGSE), which automatically improves attacker strategies from execution traces, replacing manual redesign with trace-driven refinement; its strongest single setting reaches 71.4% / 95.0% in held-out evaluation. Code is available at https://github.com/MBOSSLESS/Breadcrumbing-Search-Agents.

More Memory, Better Videos? A Controlled Study of Visual Memory in Long-Video Generation

Long-video generators increasingly retrieve past visual observations to prevent identity drift. The intuition is compelling: more access to history should make future video more consistent. But an image can be faithful to the past and wrong for the present. Does visual memory always improve the generated story? We investigate this question through VMem-Bench, a two-track diagnostic study. Track-A measures which references are selected from 92 real films (16,548 segments), before generation and without generator confounds. Track-B compares four retrieval policies with no-memory and gold-informed last-seen controls on 30 causally generated stories (2,824 segments) using a shared generator. Retrieval increases entity recall from 0.559 to 0.628-0.693 and improves similarity to past appearances, but decreases precision from 0.977 to 0.915-0.938 and forbidden-entity avoidance from 0.968 to 0.845-0.898. It can also reinforce obsolete appearances after the story changes them. Conversely, high long-gap recall can arise without memory when the prompt itself supplies the appearance; an appearance-stripping analysis exposes this confound. These results distinguish historical fidelity from current-story correctness and show why retrieval relevance or final-video consistency alone does not establish memory utility.

ColorBrowserAgent: Complex Long-Horizon Browser Agent with Adaptive Knowledge Evolution

Jihong Wang, Jiamu Zhou, Weiming Zhang, Teng Wang, Weiwen Liu, Zhuosheng Zhang, Xingyu Lou, Weinan Zhang 等 10 位作者

With the advancement of vision-language models, web automation has made significant progress. However, deploying autonomous agents in real-world settings remains challenging, primarily due to site heterogeneity, where generalist models lack domain-specific priors for diverse interfaces, and long-horizon instability, characterized by the accumulation of decision drift over extended interactions. To address these challenges, we introduce ColorBrowserAgent (Complex Long-Horizon Browser Agent), a knowledge-evolving agent for robust web automation. Our approach addresses these challenges through two synergistic mechanisms: human-in-the-loop knowledge adaptation that transforms sparse human feedback into reusable domain knowledge, and knowledge-aligned progressive summarization that stabilizes long interactions through memory compression. Extensive experiments on WebArena, WebChoreArena and industrial deployment show that ColorBrowserAgent consistently outperforms strong baselines. It achieves a state-of-the-art success rate of 71.2% on WebArena and maintains 47.4% performance under zero-shot transfer setting on WebChoreArena. In commercial deployment, it improves user satisfaction by 19.3% relatively, verifying its robustness in real-world scenarios.

Into the Gray Zone: Domain Contexts Can Blur LLM Safety Boundaries

Ki Sen Hung, Xi Yang Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Chang Liu University of Science and Technology of China, Haoran Li, Kejiang Chen University of Science and Technology of China, Changxuan Fan, Tsun On Kwok The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Weiming Zhang University of Science and Technology of China 等 10 位作者

A central goal of LLM alignment is to balance helpfulness with harmlessness, yet these objectives conflict when the same knowledge serves both legitimate and malicious purposes. This tension is amplified by context-sensitive alignment: we observe that domain-specific contexts (e.g., chemistry) selectively relax defenses for domain-relevant harmful knowledge, while safety-research contexts (e.g., jailbreak studies) trigger broader relaxation spanning all harm categories. To systematically exploit this vulnerability, we propose Jargon, a framework combining safety-research contexts with multi-turn adversarial interactions that achieves attack success rates exceeding 93% across seven frontier models, including GPT-5.2, Claude-4.5, and Gemini-3, substantially outperforming existing methods. Activation space analysis reveals that Jargon queries occupy an intermediate region between benign and harmful inputs, a gray zone where refusal decisions become unreliable. To mitigate this vulnerability, we design a policy-guided safeguard that steers models toward helpful yet harmless responses, and internalize this capability through alignment fine-tuning, reducing attack success rates while preserving helpfulness.
