Open domain subject-driven text-to-video (S2V) generation has drawn significant interest in academia and industry. Open domain S2V mainly involves two scenarios: in-domain, which requires retaining the reference subject features as much as possible, and cross-domain, which preserves the intrinsic features of the subject while allowing subject-irrelevant properties to vary flexibly according to the text prompt. Existing methods primarily focus on maximizing subject fidelity in in-domain scenarios, which limits their editability and adaptability in cross-domain scenarios, such as novel styles, semantic combinations, or domain attributes. In this study, we propose that an ideal S2V method should flexibly shuttle between different domains, achieving strong performance in both in-domain and cross-domain scenarios. To this end, we propose DomainShuttle, which could achieve high fidelity and generative flexibility for open domain video personalization. Specifically, we introduce Domain-MoT, which decouples videos and reference features and introduces the domain-aware AdaLN for domain-specific modeling of reference images. We then introduce the Video-Reference DualRoPE scheme, which places reference image tokens and video tokens in separate RoPE spaces to enable precise subject-level spatial modeling, and Cross-Pair Consistent Loss, which aims to extract intrinsic subject features unaffected by irrelevant features. Extensive experiments demonstrate that DomainShuttle achieves significant performance improvements over existing methods, exhibiting high subject fidelity and generative flexibility across diverse open domain application scenarios.

Robot-use Agents (RUAs) have shown promising zero-shot manipulation capabilities, but reliance on frontier, proprietary models limits research into further training. To democratize RUA research, we introduce uni-robot-agent, a unified harness for competitive open-weight robot use that supports further training. Without privileged inputs, an out-of-the-box Qwen3.8-Flash-Next achieves a RoboDojo Score of 31.39, surpassing the published GPT-6 Astra-RoboProbe result of 28.97 and many VLA/WAM baselines, and performs competitively on 19 real-world tasks. Our analysis across model generations, families, and sizes links effective robot use to four general capabilities, suggesting that future RUA training should develop them jointly.

Flood peak depth on normally dry land governs damage and risk to life, but is observed only sparsely, by post-event high-water mark (HWM) surveys, and depth derived from satellite flood extent is produced after the event and inherits the vertical error of the digital elevation model (DEM) it is computed from. Deep-learning flood models have in turn been trained on hydrodynamic simulations rather than on observed depths. We ask whether flood peak depth can be learned from field observations and predicted before the peak from spaceborne terrain, geospatial foundation-model embeddings and antecedent meteorological forcing. We assembled 5689 USGS HWM surveys from 39 events (2011-2025) in 24 U.S. states and Puerto Rico, assigned each a peak time from nearby sensors, paired each with a rain-free window at the same site, and linked them to Copernicus GLO-30 terrain, AlphaEarth embeddings and 144 h of hourly forcing masked to the lead time. A cross-modal fusion network trained on these observations predicts depth at the surveyed marks with a mean absolute error of 0.39 m 6 h ahead of the peak. Supervision by surveyed depth corrects the DEM error implicitly: differencing the measured peak water level with the same DEM gives 0.93 m at the same marks, 2.4 times larger, although it uses the measured water level and the model does not. Forcing accounts for 77% of the attributed reduction in depth error; terrain and the embeddings are statistically equivalent to each other and contribute the remaining 23%. On eleven held-out events the model still separates flooded from rain-free conditions but no longer resolves depth at the marks (R2 = 0.03), so the skill reported here is confined to the events and regions sampled. Field-surveyed depths can thus supervise flood depth prediction and correct terrain error that extent-based estimation cannot, while transfer to unseen storms remains the open problem.
Modern text-to-speech (TTS) systems can synthesize natural and expressive speech, yet a practical speech foundation model must go beyond naturalness to offer stable quality, precise controllability, and a broad set of composable capabilities within a unified framework. We present TTSonic, a unified speech generation model that supports zero-shot TTS, voice cloning, prosody cloning, instruction following, voice conversion, and cloning from noisy reference speech. Rather than relying on separate task-specific models, TTSonic accommodates diverse conditioning signals, including text, natural language instructions, reference speech, and text-described timbre, within the same model framework. Specifically, we develop a semantic--acoustic disentangled speech tokenizer through ASR-supervised semantic learning and reconstruction-guided generative refinement. Serving as the representational foundation of our unified framework, the tokenizer enables the Text-to-Semantic autoregressive model to focus on semantic and prosodic planning, while the acoustic flow-matching model specializes in high-quality speech rendering under diverse acoustic and timbre conditions. Building on this framework, we incorporate CoT-guided instruction-following planning and Text2Timbre voice design to support controllable speech generation. Experiments across zero-shot synthesis, multilingual and cross-lingual TTS, instruction following, voice design, voice conversion, and noisy-reference cloning demonstrate the competitive performance and broad applicability of TTSonic.

Radiological risk stratification and management planning are essential downstream tasks in medical imaging. Automating these tasks is challenging because clinical guideline criteria are distributed across prose, tables, and cross-referenced definitions. We present Guideline-derived Decision Graph (GDGraph), a framework that decouples guideline compilation from case evaluation. During compilation, a large language model partitions guidelines into section-based chunks, extracts local decision subgraphs with linked definitions, and aggregates related branches into an executable decision graph. During inference, a fast System One model answers localized clinical questions while deterministic traversal resolves Boolean logic, turning opaque single-pass predictions into a traceable decision path without task-specific training. Across 347 cases spanning renal cyst, adnexal mass, and thyroid nodule guidelines, GDGraph improves System One accuracy from 57.3% to 90.8%, outperforming retrieval-augmented GPT-4o (80.1%) and graph-guided GPT-4o with chain-of-thought (82.7%) at substantially lower latency and cost. The source code will be available.

Reaction precedents guide retrosynthesis, but how far they can compensate for gaps in task-specific training coverage remains unclear. Using 2.71 million reactions, we restricted training and retrieval coverage by transformation or time, then expanded only the retrieval corpus with model parameters fixed. For transformations excluded from training, mean Top-1 accuracy increased from 13.0% to 58.0% on a historical test set and from 4.9% to 23.1% on a temporally held-out test set. For temporal coverage gaps, retrieval expansion enabled a model trained on records before 2017 to match or exceed a non-retrieval model trained on records before 2025 on both test sets. Without task-specific fine-tuning, precedents improved all 14 representative general-purpose models on both test sets and USPTO-50K; the strongest with precedents surpassed all eight representative specialized models. These findings show that inference-time reaction precedents can extend retrosynthetic prediction beyond task-specific training coverage without parameter updates.

Web assistants increasingly answer questions about a user's private documents by pairing a small on-device model with a cloud LLM behind a Web API. In collaborative decoding, the document stays on the client, and the cloud receives only a public view that the user approves, such as the question alone, but the two models exchange messages while the answer is generated. We show that the message transcript can disclose private content that neither the public view nor the answer contains. In a planted-secret audit, speculative decoding with private drafts did not include the secret code in its answers, yet sent the code to the cloud in rejected drafts. We present ADLER, a decoding protocol for streaming LLM APIs in which every message to the cloud depends only on the public view and the answer the user sees, regardless of how the client combines the two models or how the cloud behaves. A client-side leakage ledger then bounds how much the answer itself reveals relative to a public reference process built from the cloud's replies. In the audit, no ADLER configuration exposed the secret beyond the answer. On GSM8K math problems with numerical values masked in the cloud's input, ADLER with an unlimited leakage budget raises the exact-match accuracy of a 0.5B client from 0.41 to 0.83 and of a 1.5B client from 0.67 to 0.85 under lenient answer parsing, close to the 0.92 achieved by uploading the full problem. It also exceeds a zero-leakage program baseline (0.69) by 0.14 and 0.16, respectively. In this baseline, the cloud writes a program that the client runs offline using the private numbers. The ledger records the disclosure charge associated with this gain; budgets of 16 nats or less leave accuracy near the cloud-only baseline on GSM8K.

We introduce MinerU2.5, a 1.2B-parameter document parsing vision-language model that achieves state-of-the-art recognition accuracy while maintaining exceptional computational efficiency. Our approach employs a coarse-to-fine, two-stage parsing strategy that decouples global layout analysis from local content recognition. In the first stage, the model performs efficient layout analysis on downsampled images to identify structural elements, circumventing the computational overhead of processing high-resolution inputs. In the second stage, guided by the global layout, it performs targeted content recognition on native-resolution crops extracted from the original image, preserving fine-grained details in dense text, complex formulas, and tables. To support this strategy, we developed a comprehensive data engine that generates diverse, large-scale training corpora for both pretraining and fine-tuning. Ultimately, MinerU2.5 demonstrates strong document parsing ability, achieving state-of-the-art performance on multiple benchmarks, surpassing both general-purpose and domain-specific models across various recognition tasks, while maintaining significantly lower computational overhead.

Block-wise discrete diffusion offers an attractive balance between parallel generation and causal dependency modeling, making it a promising backbone for vision-language modeling. However, its practical adoption has been limited by high training cost, slow convergence, and instability, which have so far kept it behind strong autoregressive (AR) baselines. We present SDAR-VL, the first systematic application of block-wise discrete diffusion to large-scale vision-language understanding (VLU), together with an integrated framework for efficient and stable training. This framework unifies three components: 1) Asynchronous Block-wise Noise Scheduling to diversify supervision within each batch; 2) Effective Mask Ratio Scaling for unbiased loss normalization under stochastic masking; and 3) a Progressive Beta Noise Curriculum that increases effective mask coverage while preserving corruption diversity. Experiments on 21 single-image, multi-image, and video benchmarks show that SDAR-VL consistently improves training efficiency, convergence stability, and task performance over conventional block diffusion. On this evaluation suite, SDAR-VL sets a new state of the art among diffusion-based vision-language models and, under matched settings, matches or surpasses strong AR baselines such as LLaVA-OneVision as well as the global diffusion baseline LLaDA-V, establishing block-wise diffusion as a practical backbone for VLU.

Reinforcement learning (RL) paradigms have demonstrated strong performance on reasoning-intensive tasks such as code generation. However, limited trajectory diversity often leads to diminishing returns, which constrains the achievable performance ceiling. Search-enhanced RL alleviates this issue by introducing structured exploration, which remains constrained by the single-agent policy priors. Meanwhile, leveraging multiple interacting policies can acquire more diverse exploratory signals, but existing approaches are typically decoupled from structured search. We propose MARS^2 (Multi-Agent Reinforced Tree-Search Scaling), a unified RL framework in which multiple independently-optimized agents collaborate within a shared tree-structured search environment. MARS^2 models the search tree as a learnable multi-agent interaction environment, enabling heterogeneous agents to collaboratively generate and refine candidate solutions within a shared search topology. To support effective learning, we introduce a path-level group advantage formulation based on tree-consistent reward shaping, which facilitates effective credit assignment across complex search trajectories. Experiments on code generation benchmarks show that MARS^2 consistently improves performance across diverse model combinations and training settings, demonstrating the effectiveness of coupling multi-agent collaboration with tree search for enhancing reinforcement learning. Existing text-guided image editing methods primarily rely on end-to-end pixel-level inpainting paradigm. Despite its success in simple scenarios, this paradigm still significantly struggles with compositional editing tasks that require precise local control and complex multi-object spatial reasoning. This paradigm is severely limited by 1) the implicit coupling of planning and execution, 2) the lack of object-level control granularity, and 3) the reliance on unstructured, pixel-centric modeling. To address these limitations, we propose I2E, a novel "Decompose-then-Action” paradigm that revisits image editing as an actionable interaction process within a structured environment. I2E utilizes a Decomposer to transform unstructured images into discrete, manipulable object layers and then introduces a physics-aware Vision-Language-Action Agent to parse complex instructions into a series of atomic actions via Chain-of-Thought reasoning. Further, we also construct I2E-Bench, a benchmark designed for multi-instance spatial reasoning and high-precision editing. Experimental results on I2E-Bench and multiple public benchmarks demonstrate that I2E significantly outperforms state-of-the-art methods in handling complex compositional instructions, maintaining physical plausibility, and ensuring multi-turn editing stability.

Large Language Models (LLMs) excel at general language tasks but struggle in specialized domains. Specialized Generalist Models (SGMs) address this by preserving broad capabilities while adapting to target domains. However, existing architectures provide limited support for task-guided specialized memory mechanisms. In this work, we introduce Nirvana, an SGM featuring specialized memory, linear-time complexity, and test-time task information extraction. Central to Nirvana are: (1) Task-Aware Memory Trigger (\textit{Trigger}), which treats each input as a self-supervised fine-tuning task and adjusts task-related parameters on the fly; and (2) Specialized Memory Updater (\textit{Updater}), which dynamically consolidates task-relevant context. Nirvana matches or surpasses LLM baselines on general benchmarks and achieves the lowest perplexity across specialized domains including biomedicine, finance, and law. On the challenging task of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), we attach lightweight codecs to the frozen Nirvana backbone and fine-tune them on paired k-space signals and images. Nirvana achieves higher-fidelity reconstructions than conventional LLM-based models, with Trigger providing effective domain-specific adaptation. Ablation studies confirm that removing Trigger leads to substantial degradation across all tasks, underscoring its essential role in task-aware specialization. Models are available at https://huggingface.co/collections/YuhuaJiang/nirvana. Code is available at https://github.com/YuhuaJiang2002/Nirvana.
