Salvation Lies Within: Eliciting Inherent Style Transfer in Step-Distilled Diffusion Models

原文摘要

Adapting step-distilled text-to-image (T2I) models through post-training incurs additional computational costs and affects native few-step generation behavior. This motivates a complementary route beyond style-specific adaptation: drawing on the visual knowledge already encoded in step-distilled T2I models to elicit stylistic capabilities through language. Pursuing this direction requires textual guidance that captures how visual attributes jointly define a style and remain applicable as the depicted content changes. To explore this approach, we introduce StyleForge, a fully automatic, training-free framework that expresses reference styles as reusable rendering instructions. By integrating overall rendering characteristics with local color and lighting behavior, StyleForge organizes visual evidence from reference images into a coherent specification of how the target style should be expressed. The specification is then compiled into textual guidance that can be reused across content prompts, enabling frozen step-distilled T2I models to render different subjects and scenes in the reference style while retaining native few-step generation. Extensive experiments show relative gains of up to 29.47\% in generation quality scores over the strongest baseline, while Pareto analysis indicates that improved stylization is accompanied by strong adherence to the requested content. 原文摘要

Generalization remains a central challenge in robotics, calling for policies that address domain variations from multiple dimensions such as diverse embodiments, camera poses, and/or scene layouts. In order to approach this problem, we introduce PointPilot, a task-focused and 3D aligned manipulation framework built on a 3D space point-flow prediction. Rather than modeling the global scene, PointPilot only represents task-focused objects (robot grippers treated as objects), avoiding the prediction of potentially redundant scene parts unrelated to the manipulation tasks. Moreover, PointPilot aligns 3D spatial representation in one unified coordinate and supports closed-loop and fully automatic action execution across different manipulation modes from object point flow without a separately trained action expert, while existing works typically need an extra action head or are (semi-)automatic and single-arm mode specific. Given sensor observations and language instructions, our model jointly learns subtask planning, task-relevant object grounding, and 3D point flow prediction in an end-to-end way. By processing heterogeneous data in a shared 3D point flow space, PointPilot is able to absorb demonstrations from different embodiments. Extensive simulative and real world experiments validate our method. Notably, we demonstrate zero-shot embodiment generalization with PointPilot. A single trained policy can be deployed on previously unseen embodiments and successfully complete manipulation tasks without any additional fine-tuning.

Character-Level Prosody Control for Mandarin Speech Synthesis:An Architecture-Preserving Approach

Diankun An, Lu Ma, Yongliang Wang, Zhewen Su, Xin Tian

原文摘要

This paper addresses fine-grained prosody control for large-language-model (LLM) based text-to-speech (TTS) synthesis of Mandarin Chinese, motivated by multimedia content-creation scenarios---film dubbing, audiobook production, and interactive voice interfaces---in which prosodic adjustments must be placed on specific characters rather than applied uniformly to whole utterances. We present a data-driven framework in which fine-grained prosodic markers (pitch, duration, energy, and pause) are automatically extracted from raw audio at scale and embedded into the text stream as out-of-vocabulary Unicode symbols. The LLM of an existing TTS system is then fine-tuned to interpret these markers while its architecture remains unchanged, yielding character-level temporal control that complements existing utterance-level style control. An optional text-LLM front-end can translate natural-language instructions into marker sequences. Experiments on 2.15M Mandarin utterances (5,858 hours) with CosyVoice2 as the backbone demonstrate reliable control of character duration, pitch, pause duration, and global speaking rate, with perceptual quality essentially preserved. A cross-tokenizer analysis further indicates that the ASR-optimized tokenizer of the backbone attenuates prosodic variation relative to reconstruction-oriented alternatives---an observation we report as hypothesis-generating evidence for prosody-sensitive system design.

Optimal Expert-Attention Allocation in Mixture-of-Experts: A Scalable Law for Dynamic Model Design

Junzhuo Li, Peijie Jiang, Changxin Tian, Jia Liu, Zhiqiang Zhang, Xuming Hu

原文摘要

This paper presents a novel extension of neural scaling laws to Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) models, focusing on the optimal allocation of compute between expert and attention sub-layers. As MoE architectures have emerged as an efficient method for scaling model capacity without proportionally increasing computation, determining the optimal expert-attention compute ratio becomes critical. We define the ratio r as the fraction of total FLOPs per token dedicated to the expert layers versus the attention layers, and explore how this ratio interacts with the overall compute budget and model sparsity. Through extensive experiments with GPT-style MoE Transformers, we empirically find that the optimal ratio r^\* follows a power-law relationship with total compute and varies with sparsity. Our analysis leads to an explicit formula for r^\*, enabling precise control over the expert-attention compute allocation. We generalize the Chinchilla scaling law by incorporating this architectural parameter, providing a new framework for tuning MoE models beyond size and data. Our findings offer practical guidelines for designing efficient MoE models, optimizing performance while respecting fixed compute budgets.

SCAN: Structured Capability Assessment and Navigation for LLMs

原文摘要

Evaluating Large Language Models (LLMs) has become increasingly important, with automatic evaluation benchmarks gaining prominence as alternatives to human evaluation. While existing research has focused on approximating model rankings, such benchmarks fail to provide users and developers with a comprehensive and fine-grained understanding of a specific model’s capabilities. To fill this gap, we propose SCAN (Structured Capability Assessment and Navigation), a practical framework that enables detailed characterization of LLM capabilities through comprehensive and fine-grained evaluation. SCAN incorporates four key components: (1) TaxBuilder, which extracts capability-indicating tags from extensive queries to construct a hierarchical taxonomy automatically; (2) RealMix, a query synthesis and filtering mechanism that ensures sufficient evaluation data for each capability tag; (3) a suite of visualization and analysis tools that facilitate efficient navigation and analysis of model capabilities; and (4) a PC^{2}-based (Pre-Comparison-derived Criteria) LLM-as-a-Judge approach that achieves significantly higher accuracy compared to classic LLM-as-a-Judge method. Using SCAN, we conduct a comprehensive evaluation of 21 mainstream LLMs. Our detailed analysis of the GPT-OSS family reveals substantial performance variations, even within sub-capabilities belonging to the same category of capability. This finding highlights the importance of fine-grained evaluation in accurately understanding LLM behavior. Project homepage and resources are available at https://github.com/liudan193/SCAN.

Towards Trustworthy Smart Contract Synthesis: A Multi-Agent Framework with Lean-Based Verification

Bowei Zhang, Hanbing Liu, Qixin Tian, Siyu Chen, Ziyuan Wang, Qi Qi Renmin University of China

原文摘要

Smart Contracts are the foundation of Decentralized Finance (DeFi), executing financial logic without trusted intermediaries. Recent advances in large language models (LLMs) have substantially lowered the barrier to smart contract development by enabling code generation from natural language. However, because smart contracts are immutable and directly manage financial assets, this accessibility introduces a critical trust gap: generated contracts are easy to produce but hard to trust. To bridge this gap, we present LeVer, the first trustworthy smart contract synthesis framework that integrates LLM-based generation with Lean-based auto-formalization and Verification. LeVer employs a closed-loop multi-agent architecture to iteratively generate, verify, attack, and repair contracts, providing both formal guarantees and empirical robustness. To facilitate the adoption of automated formal verification in smart contract generation and audition, we open-source our framework and datasets at: https://github.com/gl-bowei/LeVer
