Regional Anchor Routing for Multi-Object Motion Transfer

Yuze Li, Fuchen Long, Xinlong Sun, Cheng Yan, Xinyu Zhang, Xi Chen

Compositional motion transfer requires a model to extract motions from multiple reference videos, and apply each motion to a user-specified object in one target scene. Existing methods normally struggle to reliably assign different reference motions to the correct target objects, thus a motion intended for one object may affect another. Meanwhile, some motion-specific tuning approaches are still facing another issue: they must run a new optimization whenever the reference video changes, making repeated transfers inefficient. To address these limitations, we propose RART, a framework that unifies object-wise motion extraction, target-region anchoring, and frame-aligned injection into a frozen video Diffusion Transformer for multi-object motion transfer. For each reference motion, RART extracts temporally ordered features from the masked reference video, and then conditions them on the target first-frame mask to form mask-anchored motion tokens. Frame-aligned motion cross-attention allows each generated frame to read only the motion tokens at the corresponding time slots, composing all object motions in one denoising process. During training, a motion-attention routing loss encourages each target region to attend to its corresponding motion tokens and reduces interference between objects. Therefore, RART can handle novel reference-target combinations without per-video optimization. Experiments show that RART achieves accurate motion preservation, efficient inference, and strong compositional generalization.

PulmoWorld: An Asynchronous Multimodal Medical World Model for Longitudinal Pneumonia Dynamics

Cheng Tang, Xinyu Zhang, Jiawei Chen, Minghui Zhang, Shaocong Wei, Wei Li, Yuxing Chen, Kongcheng Zhang 等 17 位作者

Pneumonia changes across respiration, inflammation, and organ function, while the measurements that describe it arrive at different times and are often incomplete. We introduce PULMOWORLD, a world model for longitudinal pneumonia dynamics that connects asynchronous state estimation, recursive simulation, and evidence-constrained planning. History-aware filtering separates state propagation from observation-driven correction, so a measurement updates the shared belief only when it is observed. That belief supports recursive forecasts of clinical values and modality representations, and summaries of future prognosis. Cap-MBRL searches imagined continuations inside an authorized action set and replaces a frozen fallback only when a candidate meets the risk budget and a predicted-cost margin. On the pneumonia cohort MASS, recursive forecasts are competitive with task-trained sequence models, and simulated future states retain prognostic information. Trained separately on public MIMIC-IV-CXR chest radiographs and clinical trajectories, this model improves prognostic discrimination over latest-value fusion in development and is competitive on long-horizon error on the locked pneumonia panel. In five known-mechanism MASS-Syn environments, Cap-MBRL lowers selection regret relative to direct fallback execution.

A Hybrid Framework for Explainable Aviation Risk: Causal Chain Extraction from Safety Reports with Physics-Based Failure Quantification and Interventional Analysis

Yutian Pang, Yifang Tian, Jiacheng Xie, Xinyu Zhao, Jueming Hu, John-Paul Clarke, Hans-Arno Jacobsen

Aviation authorities hold decades of accident reports whose narratives record how investigators reconstructed each accident. Computational work on these archives has mostly sorted reports into fixed taxonomies. In this work, we propose a hybrid framework in which a text-based corpus identifies the leading factors of a failure mode. Physics-based models then quantify how likely that failure is at a stated operating point. Ordered causal chains extracted from 56,202 American accident reports with a local large language model aggregate into a causation knowledge graph. On an evaluation sample of 2,000 reports, the chains recover 90.8% of investigator-flagged causes. Each physical factor whose drivers the record carries receives an occurrence model calibrated to the accident population. A leaky noisy-OR fitted to the corpus combines the factors into a failure mode probability that supports intervention. For engine power loss, the carburetor icing model separates 1,205 icing accidents from other accidents using temperature and dewpoint alone, reaching 0.61 in area under the receiver operating characteristic curve against a density ratio ceiling of 0.64. Routine weather hours give no valid control, because flying concentrates in fair weather. On later years the physics adds 0.03 to that area for occurrence and nothing for severity, so its value lies in interpretability. On four named accidents, abduction gives a probability of necessity of 0.29 to 0.50 for the heat omission, under monotonicity. The Fast Causal Inference algorithm does not license the largest backdoor adjustment on the learned networks.

Knowing When the Evidence Is Enough: Requirement-Directed Search with Horn-Closure Certificates

Xinyu Zhang, Weiwei Sun

After each Web search, a search-augmented model must decide whether its evidence suffices: answer, search again, or abstain. Prevailing systems leave this to holistic model judgement, which can accept a context naming every entity yet lacking one required fact. We instead make sufficiency structural: a per-query requirement hypergraph states which facts jointly yield another fact. This raises two challenges: deriving requirements from the question alone, and linking each requirement to passages about the right entity. Certify therefore decomposes the question, searches per requirement, and accepts links only after entity checks. Horn closure over the links yields a certificate, the minimal sufficient passages and their derivation, or an abstention naming open requirements. Given correct retrieval, requirements and links, the decision is sound, and complete up to the entity check. Pooled over three corpora with unanswerable twins, Certify decides significantly more accurately than search agents, graph retrieval and sufficiency judges in default configurations. On the same evidence, it matches a proprietary model's sufficiency label without an additional model call. Over 21M Wikipedia passages, entity checks add 4 to 13 points of decision accuracy where gold evidence exists. Finally, answers from its certificate are 80% correct, against 57% from all retrieved passages.

Agent Memory as Recommendation: Recommender-System Design for Long-Term Memory of LLM Agents

Xinyu Zhang, Weiwei Sun

Large language model (LLM) agents that serve users across many sessions must choose, for every request, the few stored memories that enter a limited context window. This choice largely decides whether the agent answers correctly, and it runs on every request at Web scale. This selection faces three challenges: a large and growing store, a per-request cost budget, and multi-session questions that need all of their evidence. Many memory systems build notes or graphs with hundreds to thousands of LLM calls per history, and each is designed on its own, so it is unclear which component yields the accuracy. These challenges mirror the properties of recommendation, so we formalize agent memory as budgeted slate recommendation, with the request as the user, stored memories as items and the context window as a slate. The formalization places memory systems in one design space of recommender cascades and factorizes accuracy into the completeness that each stage controls. Guided by it, we propose AgentMemRec, which adapts candidate generation, learning to rank and slate construction from recommender systems and selects memories without any LLM call. On multi-session questions of LongMemEval, AgentMemRec outperforms memory and context-selection methods, including A-Mem, HippoRAG 2, DynamicRAG and T-Mem, by 10 to 31 points of accuracy. It matches an LLM reranker that makes 64 calls per query at 3.2 times lower serving cost, and on LoCoMo it outperforms Mem0 and Zep without any LLM call at write time. The factorization attributes the gains to slates that more often hold all of the evidence, so recommender-system design offers an effective and efficient foundation for the long-term memory of LLM agents.

Glyph: Scaling Context Windows via Visual-Text Compression

Jiale Cheng, Yusen Liu, Xinyu Zhang, Yulin Fei The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Wenyi Hong Department of Computer Science and Technology, Tsinghua University, Ruiliang Lyu Zhipu AI, Weihan Wang, Zhe Su 等 14 位作者

Large language models (LLMs) conventionally represent text as sequences of discrete tokens, making long-context scaling largely a matter of processing more tokens more efficiently. We instead explore a complementary direction: increasing how much original context each token represents. To this end, we introduce Glyph, a framework that renders long texts into compact visual pages and processes them with a vision-language model (VLM), allowing a fixed context window to cover substantially more text.To make visual compression practical, Glyph combines continual pre-training on rendered long-text data, an LLM-driven genetic search to identify rendering configurations that balance compression and task performance, and post-training with supervised fine-tuning and reinforcement learning.Across multiple long-context benchmarks, Glyph achieves 3–4× token compression while maintaining performance comparable to strong text-only LLMs such as Qwen3-8B, with over 4× faster prefilling and decoding and 2× faster supervised fine-tuning.Under more aggressive compression, a VLM with a 128K context window can handle tasks that would otherwise require up to 1M input tokens. Our code and model are released at https://github.com/thu-coai/Glyph.

Decoding-Unlearning: Fact Forgetting via Entropy-Guided Inference

Jingwen Pu University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Mingjun Shi, Xinrui Ren University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Yizhe Wang, Xinyu Zhang, Zhaokun Wang, Kun She University of Electronic Science and Technology of China

Large Language Models (LLMs) exhibit powerful capabilities but inevitably memorize sensitive information, raising privacy, copyright, and safety concerns. Existing LLM unlearning methods typically rely on updating model parameters. While effective, they are often limited in real-world scenarios: fine-tuning large-scale models is costly, may introduce potential irreversible risks, and depends on both forget and retain datasets, which are often difficult to obtain in full. To address these challenges, an ideal solution is to achieve unlearning at inference time. To this end, we propose SEGUE, a training-free, plug-and-play inference-time unlearning strategy. SEGUE employs a probe to detect queries involving forgettable concepts and applies entropy-guided decoding to suppress target knowledge, enabling controllable non-factual generation while preserving overall model capabilities. Experiments on the MUSE, RWKU, and WMDP datasets, covering copyright, entity, and potential-risk knowledge, show that SEGUE effectively balances sensitive knowledge suppression and generation quality, outperforming existing most inference-time unlearning methods.

AFT-Tab: Adversarial Fine-Tuning for Tabular Data Synthesis with Long Text Columns

Yuhao Zhang, Liang Yan Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen, Shaoming Duan, Xinyu Zha, Jinhang Su Harbin Institute of Technology(Shenzhen), Peiyi Han Harbin Institute of Technology(ShenZhen), Chuanyi Liu Harbin Institute of Technology

Traditional tabular data synthesis methods often overlook the cross-modal heterogeneity of real-world tables, where structured continuous and discrete attributes coexist with unstructured long-text columns. Existing synthesis approaches struggle to simultaneously achieve accurate statistical fidelity for non-textual attributes and consistent semantic constraints between textual and non-textual attributes. In this work, we establish the first benchmark for long-text tabular data synthesis and introduce a novel metric, termed Textual Column Correlation Fidelity (TCCF), to quantify cross-modal semantic alignment. We propose AFT-Tab, an adversarial fine-tuning framework that synergistically trains an LLM-based text generator and a deep-learning-based non-textual generator. Through a dual-feedback mechanism guided by an LLM discriminator, AFT-Tab ensures both precise statistical distributions and rigorous semantic constraints. Experimental results show that AFT-Tab significantly outperforms state-of-the-art baselines in statistical fidelity, TCCF, diversity, and downstream task utility.

Dual-Cluster Memory Agent: Resolving Multi-Paradigm Ambiguity in Optimization Problem Solving

Xinyu Zhang Xi'an Jiaotong University, Yuchen Wan, Boxuan Zhang, Zesheng Yang, Lingling Zhang Xi'an Jiaotong University, Bifan Wei Xi'an Jiaotong University, Jun Liu Xi'an Jiaotong University

Large Language Models (LLMs) often struggle with structural ambiguity in optimization problems, where a single problem admits multiple related but conflicting modeling paradigms, hindering effective solution generation. To address this, we propose Dual-Cluster Memory Agent (DCM-Agent) to enhance performance by leveraging historical solutions in a training-free manner. Central to this is Dual-Cluster Memory Construction. This agent assigns historical solutions to modeling and coding clusters, then distills each cluster’s content into three structured types: Approach, Checklist, and Pitfall. This process derives generalizable guidance knowledge. Furthermore, this agent introduces Memory-augmented Inference to dynamically navigate solution paths, detect and repair errors, and adaptively switch reasoning paths with structured knowledge. The experiments across seven optimization benchmarks demonstrate that DCM-Agent achieves an average performance improvement of 11%- 21%. Notably, our analysis reveals a “knowledge inheritance” phenomenon: memory constructed by larger models can guide smaller models toward superior performance, highlighting the framework’s scalability and efficiency.

Qwen3 Technical Report

An Yang, Anfeng Li, Baosong Yang, Beichen Zhang, Binyuan Hui, Bo Zheng, Bowen Yu, Chang Gao 等 60 位作者

In this work, we present Qwen3, the latest version of the Qwen model family. Qwen3 comprises a series of large language models (LLMs) designed to advance performance, efficiency, and multilingual capabilities. The Qwen3 series includes models of both dense and Mixture-of-Expert (MoE) architectures, with parameter scales ranging from 0.6 to 235 billion. A key innovation in Qwen3 is the integration of thinking mode (for complex, multi-step reasoning) and non-thinking mode (for rapid, context-driven responses) into a unified framework. This eliminates the need to switch between different models--such as chat-optimized models (e.g., GPT-4o) and dedicated reasoning models (e.g., QwQ-32B)--and enables dynamic mode switching based on user queries or chat templates. Meanwhile, Qwen3 introduces a thinking budget mechanism, allowing users to allocate computational resources adaptively during inference, thereby balancing latency and performance based on task complexity. Moreover, by leveraging the knowledge from the flagship models, we significantly reduce the computational resources required to build smaller-scale models, while ensuring their highly competitive performance. Empirical evaluations demonstrate that Qwen3 achieves state-of-the-art results across diverse benchmarks, including tasks in code generation, mathematical reasoning, agent tasks, etc., competitive against larger MoE models and proprietary models. Compared to its predecessor Qwen2.5, Qwen3 expands multilingual support from 29 to 119 languages and dialects, enhancing global accessibility through improved cross-lingual understanding and generation capabilities. To facilitate reproducibility and community-driven research and development, all Qwen3 models are publicly accessible under Apache 2.0.
