Salvation Lies Within: Eliciting Inherent Style Transfer in Step-Distilled Diffusion Models

原文摘要

Adapting step-distilled text-to-image (T2I) models through post-training incurs additional computational costs and affects native few-step generation behavior. This motivates a complementary route beyond style-specific adaptation: drawing on the visual knowledge already encoded in step-distilled T2I models to elicit stylistic capabilities through language. Pursuing this direction requires textual guidance that captures how visual attributes jointly define a style and remain applicable as the depicted content changes. To explore this approach, we introduce StyleForge, a fully automatic, training-free framework that expresses reference styles as reusable rendering instructions. By integrating overall rendering characteristics with local color and lighting behavior, StyleForge organizes visual evidence from reference images into a coherent specification of how the target style should be expressed. The specification is then compiled into textual guidance that can be reused across content prompts, enabling frozen step-distilled T2I models to render different subjects and scenes in the reference style while retaining native few-step generation. Extensive experiments show relative gains of up to 29.47\% in generation quality scores over the strongest baseline, while Pareto analysis indicates that improved stylization is accompanied by strong adherence to the requested content. Understanding Backdoor Attacks in Scene Graph Generation via Global Context Pathway

Xiaoguang Chang, Tuo Chen, Chengze Jiang, Teng Wang, Changyin Sun

原文摘要

Scene Graph Generation (SGG) produces structured scene representations, yet its training-time backdoor risk remains unexplored. Unlike classification, SGG exposes a pair-level attack surface that enables selective corruption of relations involving a designated object category. However, because SGG largely relies on localized evidence, globally placed triggers may face difficulty in manipulating such predictions. Recent SGG architectures increasingly incorporate global context to improve scene modeling, which may in turn facilitate such attacks. In this paper, we systematically study this backdoor risk and investigate the role of the global context pathway in backdoor behavior. Concretely, we first instantiate this attack with an effective method, and propose a three-axis evaluation protocol to characterize backdoor behavior. Experiments on Visual Genome with representative open-vocabulary and closed-set SGG models demonstrate the effectiveness of the attack. Mechanistic analyses reveal that the explicit global context pathway serves as a major carrier of the backdoor effect across the evaluated SGG models. In particular, replacing the poisoned global context representation with its clean counterpart during inference sharply suppresses the attack, yielding 100% and 97% reductions in attack success for the OvSGTR family and RelationFormer, respectively. Moreover, training-time interventions in the OvSGTR family show that suppressing trigger signals in this pathway either reduces attack success or substantially degrades utility. Together, these findings suggest that explicit global context designs may pose a backdoor risk in SGG architectures.

Distributed Cross-Layer Optimization for Covert Multi-Hop, Multi-Modal Networks: Exponentially Fast Convergence and Robust Tracking

原文摘要

This paper develops the first distributed cross-layer algorithm for joint congestion control, routing, scheduling, and power control in covert multi-hop, multi-modal wireless networks, where adversarial wardens (Willies) monitor radio modalities via energy detection. The Detection Error Probability (DEP), the probability that a Willie fails to reliably detect ongoing transmissions, is generally non-concave in the transmit powers, making DEP-based covert network optimization challenging. We resolve this by constructing the tightest concave lower bound on the log-DEP, yielding a conservative convex problem that guarantees satisfaction of the original DEP constraints and unifies hard covertness constraints and covertness-utility maximization in a single problem. We develop a Parallel Proximal Alternating Direction Method of Multipliers (PP-ADMM) algorithm for the resulting cross-layer problem and prove global Q-linear convergence, i.e., exponentially fast convergence, to the set of optimal solutions under standard regularity conditions. Numerical results confirm linear convergence and demonstrate robust tracking performance under channel fading and Willie mobility.
