Gaussian Light Field Splatting: A Physical Prior-Driven Vision Transformer for Low-Light Image Enhancement

原文摘要

Existing low-light image enhancement methods often suffer from local exposure imbalance and color distortion under complex, non-uniform illumination, while mainstream Vision Transformers lack explicit modeling of physics-based priors for illumination degradation. To address these limitations, we propose GLFS, a Gaussian Light Field Splatting-based Vision Transformer that incorporates continuous light-field priors from 2D Gaussian Splatting (2DGS) as an explicit physical bias into the Transformer self-attention mechanism to guide spatial gain estimation under complex non-uniform illumination. Specifically, GLFS represents scene illumination as a superposition of anisotropic Gaussian basis functions and introduces a physics-informed bias into the self-attention mechanism to adaptively infer a spatial gain field, enabling accurate and spatially uniform restoration under complex illumination conditions. To mitigate color shifts and structural degradation during enhancement, we further introduce a color vector angular loss and a luminance edge loss, with the former enforcing hue consistency and the latter improving the structural fidelity of local details. Extensive ablation studies and quantitative evaluations demonstrate that GLFS achieves competitive overall performance in illumination correction, structure preservation, and perceptual quality, validating the effectiveness of the continuous Gaussian light field prior for low-light image enhancement.

Cue-guided dual-path reconstruction with adaptive multi-scale response refinement for low-light image enhancement

原文摘要

Low-light image enhancement (LLIE) supports optical sensing and scene observation when limited photon capture and sensor noise degrade image quality. However, existing methods can introduce colour deviations or blur local details in the enhanced images. To address this challenge, we propose CueDR-Net, a dual-path network that combines brightness adjustment with local content reconstruction through bidirectional cue interaction and adaptive multi-scale refinement. Specifically, a fixed extractor derives luminance variation, colour, and texture cue maps from the input image. These maps are encoded in a cue stream that exchanges features with the image stream through bidirectional attention. The exchanged features support two paths for brightness adjustment and local content reconstruction. The brightness adjustment path predicts pixel wise adjustment maps that control iterative intensity changes in the input image. In parallel, the residual path uses the exchanged features to predict an additive correction for local content reconstruction. To capture weak structures across scales, Adaptive Multi-Scale Response Refinement Convolution (AMRRConv) refines the features used for both predictions. It fuses learnable local transition responses with multi-scale features from factorized three-plane filtering using pixel wise weights. The adjusted image is added to the correction before being mapped to the enhanced image. Evaluations on LOLv1, LSRW-HUAWEI, and LSRW-NIKON demonstrate competitive enhancement performance, supported by ablation studies. AMRRConv also achieves competitive low-light detection performance with a small neck parameter count when integrated into YOLOv11.

Learning High-Quality Pseudo-Labels for Point-Supervised Temporal Action Localization

Zhenying Fang

原文摘要

Point-supervised temporal action localization (PTAL) aims to recognize and localize action instances in untrimmed videos using only point-level annotations. Existing pseudo-label-based methods have made substantial progress in PTAL. However, confidence-based initialization can overlook well-localized proposals. Meanwhile, existing methods either keep pseudo-labels fixed during detector training or update them without fully exploiting alternative boundary evidence from the original proposal pool. These limitations constrain supervision quality, thereby hindering detection performance. To learn high-quality pseudo-labels, we propose a framework that integrates prior-guided initialization with consensus-guided refinement during detector training. Our framework comprises two modules: Prior-Guided Initialization (PGI) and Consensus-Guided Refinement (CGR). PGI combines proposal confidence with point-derived priors to establish instance-specific reliability for initial pseudo-label selection and candidate retention. CGR continually uses the retained original candidates to construct boundary targets, combining their consensus with evolving detector predictions to refine pseudo-labels throughout training. Experiments on four benchmarks demonstrate that our method achieves competitive detection performance compared with existing methods. In particular, our method achieves 68.5\% average mAP over tIoU thresholds 0.1--0.7 on THUMOS14, surpassing PseR by 3.7 percentage points. Code is available at https://github.com/zhenyingfang/LHQP
