Large language model agents are increasingly deployed through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), which allows them to discover and invoke tools across multiple servers at runtime. Existing MCP benchmarks primarily measure task completion; where they diagnose failures, they do so after execution rather than building specific reasoning, execution, and memory failure risks into task construction. We introduce MCPHallu, a benchmark for diagnosing hallucination-prone agent failures in MCP environments along three axes: reasoning, execution, and memory. MCPHallu contains 358 tasks across five capability domains and runs on 36 production MCP servers in isolated containers. Each task is designed with a structural trigger that makes one of four subtypes the dominant failure risk: Branch Collapse, Unreachable Goal, Tool Misuse, or Context Forgetting. This design enables subtype-level analysis rather than aggregate task success alone. We evaluate fourteen frontier LLM agents from eight vendors on 5{,}012 trajectories. Current MCP agents remain vulnerable to hallucination-inducing tool environments, achieving an average score of 0.642 on a $[0,1]$ scale (higher is better). Failures concentrate on Unreachable Goal tasks, where the average score drops to 0.458 and 23.2\% of runs pass, indicating that agents often continue issuing tool calls or claim successful completion rather than recognizing infeasible goals. Subtype rankings diverge sharply: a model's rank shifts by 6.9 of 13 positions on average across subtypes, and Branch Collapse is uncorrelated with Unreachable Goal across models ($r = -0.12$). MCPHallu is released at https://github.com/J1zz/mcp_hallu.

Next-generation AI must manage vast personal data, diverse tools, and multi-step reasoning, yet most benchmarks remain context-free and single-turn. We present ASTRA-bench (Assistant Skills in Tool-use, Reasoning \& Action-planning), a benchmark that uniquely unifies time-evolving personal context with an interactive toolbox and complex user intents. Our event-driven pipeline generates 2,413 scenarios across four protagonists, grounded in longitudinal life events and annotated by referential, functional, and informational complexity. Evaluation of state-of-the-art models (e.g., Claude-4.5-Opus, DeepSeek-V3.2) reveals significant performance degradation under high-complexity conditions, with argument generation emerging as the primary bottleneck. These findings expose critical limitations in current agents' ability to ground reasoning within messy personal context and orchestrate reliable multi-step plans. We release ASTRA-bench with a full execution environment and evaluation scripts to provide a diagnostic testbed for developing truly context-aware AI assistants.

Protein optimization remains a longstanding goal in life sciences. Existing machine learning-assisted directed evolution (MLDE) methods primarily rely on sequence-only features, overlooking the critical spatial constraints and co-evolutionary interactions encoded in protein structures. However, directly integrating structural information remains challenging due to the scarcity of reliable mutant structures. To address these issues, we propose StructEvo, a novel structure-aware reinforcement learning framework for protein directed evolution. StructEvo employs a delta-structure fusion encoder to approximate mutant structure features via feature differences, enabling dynamic incorporation of spatial knowledge. The vast mutation space is then decomposed into manageable subspaces through a structure-aligned hierarchical action network, while a geometric constraint further stabilizes delta feature learning. Our approach outperforms prior state-of-the-art methods by 9.2% and 16.3% on two challenging optimization benchmarks, and further identifies an experimentally validated epistasis pattern in GFP, highlighting the importance of structural guidance for effective protein directed evolution.
Speculative decoding accelerates large language model inference with a small drafter, whose per-guess acceptance rate determines the achievable speedup. Feature-level drafters share a design choice: every token, easy or hard, is drafted under a single forward pass. Many of the tokens the target rejects are ones the drafter is itself unsure about yet the target answers decisively. To address this, we introduce Parallel Reconsideration: guided by its own uncertainty, the drafter reconsiders its hesitant guesses with extra passes that run in parallel with the one-pass draft, adding negligible latency. A co-designed training recipe and serving-time drafting algorithm append these reconsidered guesses to the original draft tree as refined candidates. Across models and benchmarks, on average, Parallel Reconsideration improves over the baselines by 5.3% to 10.2% on acceptance length and by 3.5% to 9.2% on speedup.
We report the end-to-end deployment and measurement of MiniMax H3, a 20.38-billion-parameter video diffusion transformer (DiT) - the count measured from the safetensors headers of the Q8 checkpoint as deployed locally (Section 3.2) - running entirely on consumer Apple Silicon hardware: an Apple Mac mini with M5 Pro chip and 64 GiB of unified memory. Using the official bf16-to-Q8 (8-bit, group size 64) quantization path executed locally on the machine, we produced a working text-to-video pipeline with no cloud dependency. We document the full deployment procedure, including two non-trivial blockers and their fixes, and report measured figures for build time, peak memory, and per-clip render latency across four resolution tiers (Draft 384x640 through Native 768x1344). A 15.08-second 576x1024 clip rendered in 4838.49 seconds with a measured MLX peak of 27.467 GiB. We further operated the system as an unattended production pipeline, completing 17 clips in 26.49 hours with zero render failures. A blind human review of the 17 production clips (generation prompts withheld) averaged 3.12, 3.18, and 2.94 out of 5 for structural integrity, temporal consistency, and visible artifacts. All figures in this report are our own measurements except where explicitly labeled as third-party data. This is a systems/empirical report; we make no claim of model innovation.
Frontier LLM agents can turn known vulnerabilities into working exploits, but are costly and often access-restricted due to their potential for malicious use. Open-weight models offer a more accessible alternative, but struggle to maintain progress across long exploitation chains. They also often fail to apply relevant security knowledge at the appropriate stage and in the right context to identify and evaluate promising attack directions. To address these limitations, we propose DoGNAVY-Exploit, a multi-agent harness built around two complementary designs: stage-aware decomposition with progressive expert knowledge disclosure, and hierarchical orchestration with parallel exploration. Specifically, DoGNAVY-Exploit uses configurable milestones to recast long-horizon exploitation as short, verifiable capability transitions and provides only the knowledge relevant to each stage. Within each milestone, a hierarchical architecture separates strategic planning from parallel execution: a planner proposes diverse attack routes, executors test them concurrently, and a controller accepts progress only when supported by runtime evidence. A shared structured memory consolidates verified facts, artifacts, replay steps, and failed routes across branches, allowing agents to build on collective progress and carry validated knowledge into subsequent milestones. In controlled benchmark environments, DoGNAVY-Exploit with GLM-5.2 achieves 97.5% Pass@1 on Cybench, and 97.5% zero-day and 100% one-day Pass@1 on CVE-Bench. On ExploitGym, it solves 79 tasks with GLM-5.2 and 157 with GLM-5.3, while the corresponding public Claude Code baselines solve 39 and 130 tasks, respectively. Ablation results further demonstrate that the stage-aware orchestration, expert knowledge, parallel exploration, and memory designs can substantially improve the exploitation capabilities of open-weight agents.

Real-world driving requires context-aware decision-making. Existing end-to-end driving benchmarks primarily assess trajectory quality through safety, compliance, comfort, and driving progress, leaving context-dependent decision-making insufficiently characterized. To fill this gap, we present PlanContext, a benchmark for evaluating in-context driving decision-making. PlanContext constructs paired evaluations by varying high-level driving intentions while keeping the observed scene fixed, enabling a natural and controllable assessment of context-dependent decision-making. We further define six representative driving contexts and jointly evaluate contextual decision correctness, road compliance, and dynamic safety with class-balanced metrics. Experiments on 9,561 scene-condition instances from NAVSIM and 23 public end-to-end driving models show that high conventional driving-quality scores do not consistently correspond to strong route-level in-context driving decision-making. Further analysis shows that model behavior varies with decision timing, road structure, and traffic interaction depending on the decision required by the current context. Our results highlight in-context driving decision-making as an important complementary dimension for evaluating end-to-end driving systems.

Image stitching aim to align two images taken from different viewpoints into one seamless, wider image. However, when the 3D scene contains depth variations and the camera baseline is significant, noticeable parallax occurs-meaning the relative positions of scene elements differ substantially between views. Most existing stitching methods struggle to handle such images with large parallax effectively. To address this challenge, in this paper, we propose an image stitching solution called PIS3R that is robust to very large parallax based on the novel concept of deep 3D reconstruction. First, we apply visual geometry grounded transformer to two input images with very large parallax to obtain both intrinsic and extrinsic parameters, as well as the dense 3D scene reconstruction. Subsequently, we reproject reconstructed dense point cloud onto a designated reference view using the recovered camera parameters, achieving pixel-wise alignment and generating an initial stitched image. Finally, to further address potential artifacts such as holes or noise in the initial stitching, we propose a point-conditioned image diffusion module to obtain the refined result.Compared with existing methods, our solution is very large parallax tolerant and also provides results that fully preserve the geometric integrity of all pixels in the 3D photogrammetric context, enabling direct applicability to downstream 3D vision tasks such as SfM. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm provides accurate stitching results for images with very large parallax, and outperforms the existing methods qualitatively and quantitatively.

Large language models (LLMs) integrated with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) have become a dominant framework for building intelligent assistants. In real-world applications such as ChatGPT with web search, the retrieved document often comes from diverse, potentially unreliable sources and may contain inconsistent claims. Unlike traditional search engines that rely on users to manually compare information, LLM-based systems typically feed all retrieved content into the model’s context, requiring LLMs to autonomously identify, differentiate, and reason over conflicting viewpoints. Unlike mainstream LLM evaluation tasks like math and code generation that are primarily focused on reasoning with factual context, question-answering with multi-source references requires fundamentally different capabilities to identify and reason over knowledge contradictions. In this paper, we introduce ConfRAG, a benchmark for evaluating LLMs’ reasoning capability over real-world conflicting documents retrieved from the web. It consists of 1,814 real-world questions, each paired with an average of 9.58 retrieved paragraphs from heterogeneous online sources. A total of 57.2% of the questions exhibit explicit contradictions. We further propose three structured evaluation tasks, answer clustering, answer coverage, and reason coverage, to quantify a model’s ability to organize and explain contradictory content. Experiments with state-of-the-art models such as GPT-4.1 and Claude-3-7-Sonnet reveal substantial performance gaps, highlighting the need for more targeted research in contradiction-aware question answering. To the best of our knowledge, ConfRAG is the first benchmark specifically designed to evaluate contradiction-aware reasoning on real-world long web documents.

The critical therapist shortage demands scalable training solutions. Standardized Patients, the gold standard, are scarce and costly. Current LLM-based approaches focus on patient simulation for conversational realism but lack pedagogical rigor as Virtual Standardized Patients, lacking faithful reactions to clinical errors and explainable feedback. To bridge this gap, we propose PUPPET, the first neural-symbolic Virtual Standardized Patient governed by an OBSERVE-THINK-BEHAVE architecture. PUPPET externalizes LLM reasoning into a symbolic system where experts implant causal associations between intervention logic (propositional logic) and patient mental states (state machine). This allows PUPPET to behave coherently with controllable and explainable psychological dynamics: intervention logic (OBSERVE) → state transition (THINK) → response (BEHAVE). Our PUPPET-TRAINER further leverages this chain to educate trainees about intervention consequences, standardizing and scaling mental health training. Experiments across three clinical scenarios confirm that PUPPET outperforms baselines in clinical faithfulness and pedagogical value.

Translating natural language mathematical statements into formal, executable code is a fundamental challenge in automated theorem proving. While prior work has focused on generation and compilation success, little attention has been paid to the critic phase—the evaluation of whether generated formalizations truly capture the semantic intent of the original problem. In this paper, we introduce CriticLean, a novel critic-guided reinforcement learning framework that elevates the role of the critic from a passive validator to an active learning component. Specifically, first, we propose the CriticLeanGPT, trained via supervised fine-tuning and reinforcement learning, to rigorously assess the semantic fidelity of Lean 4 formalizations. Then, we introduce CriticLeanBench, a benchmark designed to measure models’ ability to distinguish semantically correct from incorrect formalizations, and demonstrate that our trained CriticLeanGPT models can significantly outperform strong open- and closed-source baselines. Building on the CriticLean framework, we construct FineLeanCorpus, a dataset comprising over 509K problems that exhibits rich domain diversity, broad difficulty coverage, and high correctness based on human evaluation.Overall, our findings highlight that optimizing the critic phase is essential for producing reliable formalizations and we hope our CriticLean will provide valuable insights for future advances in formal mathematical reasoning.

Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) has become the backbone of knowledge-intensive multi-hop question answering, yet routing every sub-query through a frontier model turns every hop into a cost multiplier and makes real-world deployment prohibitively expensive. Existing remedies either fix the retrieval schedule, route once at the query level, or lack a principled stopping rule, leaving a critical gap: no framework adapts, hop by hop, to how a trajectory actually unfolds. We introduce RAG-on-a-Diet, a lightweight reinforcement-learning agent that treats each reasoning hop as an independent decision and selects the smallest model (Qwen3-4B, Qwen3-30B, or DS-R1-671B) sufficient for it, guided by entity- and confidence-aware features. Trained via behavior cloning followed by PPO under a five-component cost-aware reward (final, cumulative, step-wise, cost, balance) and coupled with an explicit two-tier termination policy (5-hop cap plus a tau=0.3 confidence gate), the agent carves a Pareto-optimal efficiency frontier. On HotpotQA it cuts Monetary Inference Cost by 60.07% against IRCoT with only a 3.7% F1 drop; it matches Adaptive-RAG’s F1 at 37.30% lower cost; and it attains up to 2.33x higher Quality-per-Monetary-Cost. Consistent gains on MuSiQue, 2WikiMultiHopQA, CRAG, and Bamboogle confirm strong out-of-distribution robustness, setting a new paradigm for fine-grained resource control in multi-hop RAG.

Large Language Models (LLMs) exhibit powerful capabilities but inevitably memorize sensitive information, raising privacy, copyright, and safety concerns. Existing LLM unlearning methods typically rely on updating model parameters. While effective, they are often limited in real-world scenarios: fine-tuning large-scale models is costly, may introduce potential irreversible risks, and depends on both forget and retain datasets, which are often difficult to obtain in full. To address these challenges, an ideal solution is to achieve unlearning at inference time. To this end, we propose SEGUE, a training-free, plug-and-play inference-time unlearning strategy. SEGUE employs a probe to detect queries involving forgettable concepts and applies entropy-guided decoding to suppress target knowledge, enabling controllable non-factual generation while preserving overall model capabilities. Experiments on the MUSE, RWKU, and WMDP datasets, covering copyright, entity, and potential-risk knowledge, show that SEGUE effectively balances sensitive knowledge suppression and generation quality, outperforming existing most inference-time unlearning methods.

Argument summarization aims to generate concise, structured representations of complex, multi-perspective debates. While recent work has advanced the identification and clustering of argumentative components, the generation stage remains underexplored. Existing approaches typically rely on single-pass generation, offering limited support for factual correction or structural refinement. To address this gap, we introduce Arg-LLaDA, a novel large language diffusion framework that iteratively improves summaries via sufficiency-guided remasking and regeneration. Our method combines a flexible masking controller with a sufficiency-checking module to identify and revise unsupported, redundant, or incomplete spans—yielding more faithful, concise, and coherent outputs. Empirical results on two benchmark datasets demonstrate that Arg-LLaDA surpasses state-of-the-art baselines in 7 out of 10 automatic evaluation metrics. In addition, human evaluations reveal substantial improvements across core dimensions, coverage, faithfulness, and conciseness, validating the effectiveness of our iterative, sufficiency-aware generation strategy.

While Chain-of-Thought (CoT) prompting has become a standard paradigm for eliciting complex reasoning capabilities in Large Language Models, it inadvertently exposes a new attack surface for backdoor attacks. Existing CoT backdoor attacks typically manipulate the intermediate reasoning steps to steer the model toward incorrect answers. However, these corrupted reasoning traces are readily detected by prevalent process-monitoring defenses. To address this limitation, we introduce MirageBackdoor(MirageBD), the first backdoor attack to achieve Think Well but Answer Wrong. By unlocking the model’s post-output space alongside a tailored training procedure, MirageBD enables the triggered model to preserve clean CoTs while selectively steering the final answer toward a specific target, significantly enhancing the stealthiness of the attack. Experiments show that MirageBD generally achieves over 90% attack success rate across four datasets and five models with a poison ratio of only 5%. Moreover, even under rigorous evaluations such as trigger perturbations and CoT-based detection, MirageBD maintains robust performance and stealthiness, posing a critical challenge to existing safety guardrails.

Vision-language models like CLIP excel at zero-shot recognition but struggle with continual learning due to two critical issues: (1) severe distribution gap between pretraining captions and post-training class names, and (2) performance mismatch between vision-only and dual-encoder approaches--vision-only methods achieve 20% higher accuracy on fine-grained tasks while CLIP dominates on natural images. We propose Learning from Itself (LfI), which mines CLIP's internal knowledge to address both challenges. First, we generate pseudo-captions by optimizing learnable tokens to minimize CLIP's contrastive loss, creating auxiliary training signals that bridge the pretraining-finetuning distribution gap without external models. Second, we introduce adaptive mutual distillation that dynamically weights knowledge transfer between CLIP's text encoder and a temporary vision classifier based on their instantaneous performance--stronger branches teach more, weaker ones learn more. At inference, only the original CLIP architecture is used, having absorbed discriminative knowledge from both branches. LfI achieves state-of-the-art results across multiple continual learning benchmarks, demonstrating that CLIP can effectively teach itself to continually learn new tasks. Multimodal biomedical Vision-Language Models (VLMs) exhibit immense potential in the field of Continual Learning (CL). However, they confront a core dilemma: how to preserve fine-grained intra-modality features while bridging the significant domain gap across different modalities. To address this challenge, we propose a comprehensive framework. Leveraging our 18-million multimodal and comprehensive medical retrieval database derived from PubMed scientific papers, we pioneer the integration of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) into CL. Specifically, we employ a multi-modal, multi-layer RAG system that provides real-time guidance for model fine-tuning through dynamic, on-demand knowledge retrieval. Building upon this, we introduce a dynamic knowledge distillation framework. This framework precisely resolves the aforementioned core dilemma by dynamically modulating the importance of the parameter space, the granularity of the distilled knowledge, and the data distribution of the reference dataset in accordance with the required level of detail. To thoroughly validate the clinical value of our strategy, we have designed a more rigorous Medical Generalist Task Incremental Learning (MGTIL) benchmark. This benchmark is engineered to simultaneously evaluate the model's capacity for adaptation to significant domain shifts, retention of subtle intra-domain features, and real-time learning of novel and complex medical tasks. Our method achieves stable SOTA results across all metrics, with https://github.com/CZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ/PRIMED code available.

Single-view 3D human reconstruction has garnered significant attention in recent years. Despite numerous advancements, prior research has concentrated on reconstructing 3D models from clear, close-up images of individual subjects, often yielding subpar results in the more prevalent multi-person scenarios. Reconstructing 3D human crowd models is a highly intricate task, laden with challenges such as: 1) extensive occlusions, 2) low clarity, and 3) numerous and various appearances. To address this task, we propose CrowdGaussian, a unified framework that directly reconstructs multi-person 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) representations from single-image inputs. To handle occlusions, we devise a self-supervised adaptation pipeline that enables the pretrained large human model to reconstruct complete 3D humans with plausible geometry and appearance from heavily occluded inputs. Furthermore, we introduce Self-Calibrated Learning (SCL). This training strategy enables single-step diffusion models to adaptively refine coarse renderings to optimal quality by blending identity-preserving samples with clean/corrupted image pairs. The outputs can be distilled back to enhance the quality of multi-person 3DGS representations. Extensive experiments demonstrate that CrowdGaussian generates photorealistic, geometrically coherent reconstructions of multi-person scenes.

Semi-supervised learning addresses label scarcity and high annotation costs in medical image segmentation by exploiting the latent information in unlabeled data to enhance model performance. Traditional discriminative segmentation relies on segmentation masks, neglecting feature-level distribution constraints. This limits robust semantic representation learning and adaptive modeling of unlabeled data in scenarios with few labels. To address these limitations, we propose SemiGDA, a novel Generative Dual-distribution Alignment framework for semi-supervised medical image segmentation. Our SemiGDA overcomes the reliance of discriminative methods on large labeled datasets by aligning feature and semantic distributions to boost semantic learning and scene adaptability. Specifically, we propose a Dual-distribution Alignment Module (DAM), which employs two structurally distinct encoders to model image and mask feature distributions. It enforces their alignment in the latent space via distributional constraints, establishing structured feature consistency. Moreover, we design a Consistency-Driven Skip Adapter (CDSA) strategy, which introduces dual skip adapters (Image and Mask) to fuse multi-scale features via skip connections. Using a consistency loss, CDSA enhances cross-branch semantic alignment and reinforces fine-grained semantic consistency. Experimental results on diverse medical datasets show that our method outperforms other state-of-the-art semi-supervised segmentation methods. Electromagnetic Inverse Scattering Problems (EISP) seek to reconstruct relative permittivity from scattered fields and are fundamental to applications like medical imaging. This inverse process is inherently ill-posed and highly nonlinear, making it particularly challenging, especially under sparse transmitter setups, e.g., with only one transmitter. While recent machine learning-based approaches have shown promising results, they often rely on time-consuming, case-specific optimization and perform poorly under sparse transmitter setups. To address these limitations, we revisit EISP from a data-driven perspective. The scarcity of transmitters leads to an insufficient amount of measured data, which fails to capture adequate physical information for stable inversion. Accordingly, we propose a fully end-to-end and data-driven framework that predicts the relative permittivity of scatterers from measured fields, leveraging data distribution priors to compensate for the incomplete information from sparse measurements. This design enables data-driven training and feed-forward prediction of relative permittivity while maintaining strong robustness to transmitter sparsity. Extensive experiments show that our method outperforms state-of-the-art approaches in reconstruction accuracy and robustness. Notably, we demonstrate, for the first time, high-quality reconstruction from a single transmitter. This work advances practical electromagnetic imaging by providing a new, cost-effective paradigm to inverse scattering. Code and models are released at https://gomenei.github.io/SingleTX-EISP/.

Large vision-language models (VLMs) often benefit from intermediate visual cues, either injected via external tools or generated as latent visual tokens during reasoning, but these mechanisms still overlook fine-grained visual evidence (e.g., polylines in charts), generalize poorly across domains, and incur high inference-time cost. In this paper, we propose Bi-directional Perceptual Shaping (BiPS), which transforms question-conditioned masked views into bidirectional where-to-look signals that shape perception during training. BiPS first applies a KL-consistency constraint between the original image and an evidence-preserving view that keeps only question-relevant regions, encouraging coarse but complete coverage of supporting pixels. It then applies a KL-separation constraint between the original and an evidence-ablated view where critical pixels are masked so the image no longer supports the original answer, discouraging text-only shortcuts (i.e., answering from text alone) and enforcing fine-grained visual reliance. Across eight benchmarks, BiPS boosts Qwen2.5-VL-7B by 8.2% on average and shows strong out-of-domain generalization to unseen datasets and image types.

Online High-Definition (HD) map construction is pivotal for autonomous driving. While recent approaches leverage historical temporal fusion to improve performance, we identify a critical safety flaw in this paradigm: it is inherently "spatially backward-looking." These methods predominantly enhance map reconstruction in traversed areas, offering minimal improvement for the unseen road ahead. Crucially, our analysis of downstream planning tasks reveals a severe asymmetry: while rearward perception errors are often tolerable, inaccuracies in the forward region directly precipitate hazardous driving maneuvers. To bridge this safety gap, we propose AMap, a novel framework for Ahead-aware online HD Mapping. We pioneer a "distill-from-future" paradigm, where a teacher model with privileged access to future temporal contexts guides a lightweight student model restricted to the current frame. This process implicitly compresses prospective knowledge into the student model, endowing it with "look-ahead" capabilities at zero inference-time cost. Technically, we introduce a Multi-Level BEV Distillation strategy with spatial masking and an Asymmetric Query Adaptation module to effectively transfer future-aware representations to the student's static queries. Extensive experiments on the nuScenes and Argoverse 2 benchmark demonstrate that AMap significantly enhances current-frame perception. Most notably, it outperforms state-of-the-art temporal models in critical forward regions while maintaining the efficiency of current-frame inference.

Mamba, originally introduced for language modeling, has recently garnered attention as an effective backbone for vision tasks. However, its underlying mechanism in visual domains remains poorly understood. In this work, we systematically investigate Mamba's representational properties and make three primary contributions. First, we theoretically analyze Mamba's relationship to Softmax and Linear Attention, confirming that it can be viewed as a low-rank approximation of Softmax Attention and thereby bridging the representational gap between Softmax and Linear forms. Second, we introduce a novel binary segmentation metric for activation map evaluation, extending qualitative assessments to a quantitative measure that demonstrates Mamba's capacity to model long-range dependencies. Third, by leveraging DINO for self-supervised pretraining, we obtain clearer activation maps than those produced by standard supervised approaches, highlighting Mamba's potential for interpretability. Notably, our model also achieves a 78.5% linear probing accuracy on ImageNet, underscoring its strong performance. We hope this work can provide valuable insights for future investigations of Mamba-based vision architectures.

Software is one of the most powerful tools that we humans have at our disposal; it allows a skilled programmer to interact with the world in complex and profound ways. At the same time, thanks to improvements in large language models (LLMs), there has also been a rapid development in AI agents that interact with and affect change in their surrounding environments. In this paper, we introduce OpenHands (f.k.a. OpenDevin), a platform for the development of powerful and flexible AI agents that interact with the world in similar ways to those of a human developer: by writing code, interacting with a command line, and browsing the web. We describe how the platform allows for the implementation of new agents, safe interaction with sandboxed environments for code execution, coordination between multiple agents, and incorporation of evaluation benchmarks. Based on our currently incorporated benchmarks, we perform an evaluation of agents over 15 challenging tasks, including software engineering (e.g., SWE-BENCH) and web browsing (e.g., WEBARENA), among others. Released under the permissive MIT license, OpenHands is a community project spanning academia and industry with more than 2.1K contributions from over 188 contributors.
