Automatic tools can now generate whole-brain MRI parcellations at cohort scale, but generated-label releases often provide little evidence about which cases are reliable enough to reuse. We introduce OpenBrain, a confidence-aware release of 35,838 provenance-verified OpenNeuro T1w cases from 607 source datasets. OpenBrain is organized as an auditable case-record release rather than a directory of standalone segmentation files: each record links a primary parcellation, two committee parcellations, source/license provenance, raw QC-7 measurements, percentile risks, a combined risk score R, and a confidence tier. QC-7 is a reference-free reliability panel over label geometry, image-label consistency, and committee disagreement, so users can filter, weight, audit, or re-threshold generated labels without rerunning inference. We evaluate this released evidence under a frozen protocol. Across external cohorts, lower QC-7 risk corresponds to higher generated-label quality; in fixed-budget training, lower-risk selections improve paired macro Dice over random selection by +3.2 to +3.7 percentage points. OpenBrain also exposes raw axes, committee outputs, provenance, and datasheet documentation, so confidence claims remain inspectable after download. It does not turn generated labels into manual annotations or clinical-grade segmentations. Its contribution is a large open generated-parcellation substrate, a reusable case-level risk-evidence layer, and an external validation protocol for release-time QC. CONFIRM: Governing Scientific Reporting for Trustworthy Agentic Neuroimaging

Yuxiang Wei, Lijing Zhu, Qizhen Lan, Yanteng Zhang, Vince D. Calhoun

原文摘要

Large language model (LLM) agents can autonomously run neuroimaging analyses from research questions to reported findings. Existing agentic systems use tools to check that code runs and reported values match its output, but rely on LLM judgment to decide which results warrant scientific reporting. We show that LLM judges endorse site-confounded findings even when the confound is presented as evidence. We present \textbf{CONFIRM}, a framework that separates running an analysis from deciding which findings to report. CONFIRM encodes each hypothesis as a machine-readable, pre-specified analysis plan that fixes the claim and its pass criteria before computing results. It then filters results through five deterministic gates (search history and multiplicity, confounds, power, analytic stability, and replication) under three configurable reporting standards, from least to most demanding: \textit{Screen}, \textit{Replicate}, and \textit{Full}. Failed claims receive diagnoses that guide follow-up analyses. To evaluate reporting decisions at the claim level, we introduce \textbf{NeuroClaimBench}, comprising 489 executable neuroimaging claims with frozen data, including literature-supported findings and 150 controls designed to violate individual methodological requirements. On NeuroClaimBench, CONFIRM falsely supports at most 3\% of controls, compared with 23--38\% for the baselines, while recovering up to 61\% of literature-supported claims. When auditing an existing agent, CONFIRM reduces false support on controls from 23\% to 0\% while retaining the agent's literature-supported claims. Its diagnostic feedback also produces more supported revisions than Self-Refine with fewer LLM calls. Together, CONFIRM and NeuroClaimBench show that basing reporting decisions on pre-specified analysis plans and deterministic gates is essential for trustworthy autonomous scientific discovery.

MoI-Bench: A Benchmark for Image Generation and Editing on Mobile Devices

Kailai Feng, Haoxiang Rao, Yuxiang Wei, Bo Chen, Junsong Li, Yang Pan, Chengkun Cai, Jagmohan Chauhan

原文摘要

Developing on-device image models requires considering practical user needs, task types and device resource constraints. However, existing benchmarks provide limited guidance on identifying capability gaps between on-device models and server-side models. We introduce MoI-Bench, a benchmark grounded in mobile user needs, comprising 64 subtasks and 1150 samples. It defines 16 operations, such as removal and replacement, and eight visual target categories covering content such as portraits and text. These form two orthogonal axes whose applicable combinations define specific tasks, such as removing facial makeup. To better guide model improvement, we further propose MoI-Eval, which introduces task-specific criteria covering instruction following, visual quality and detail preservation. We further construct sample-level evaluation questions and aggregate their scores into overall quality and capability profiles along the operation, target and criteria axes. We evaluate representative on-device and server-side models and measure mobile deployment costs. Results show that this decoupled Operation x Target design provides finer-grained guidance for improving compact models. For example, it highlights the need to prioritize specific capability gaps (e.g., text-replacement) over broad application-level goals (e.g., improving text editing). Unlike conventional benchmarks that rank models using a single score, we introduce a two-dimensional Quality-Deployability capability map to assess models for practical mobile use. The map shows that current on-device models can achieve efficient generation or editing but expanding their task coverage deserves greater attention than further improving deployment efficiency. Further progress requires improving editing quality, particularly identity preservation and text rendering, while broadening task coverage.

CloneMem: Benchmarking Long-Term Memory for AI Clones

Sen Hu Peking University, Zhiyu Zhang, Yuxiang Wei Georgia Institute of Technology, Xueran Han, Zhenheng Tang, Ronghao Chen QuantaAlpha, Huacan Wang QuantaAlpha

原文摘要

AI Clones aim to simulate an individual’s thoughts and behaviors to enable long-term, personalized interaction, placing stringent demands on memory systems to model experiences, emotions, and opinions over time. Existing memory benchmarks primarily rely on user–agent conversational histories, which are temporally fragmented and insufficient for capturing continuous life trajectories. We introduce CloneMem, a benchmark for evaluating long-term memory in AI Clone scenarios grounded in non-conversational digital traces, including diaries, social media posts, and emails, spanning one to three years. CloneMem adopts a top-down data construction framework to ensure longitudinal coherence and defines tasks that assess an agent’s ability to track evolving personal states. Experiments show that current memory mechanisms struggle in this setting, highlighting open challenges for life-grounded personalized AI.
