Semantic-ID-based (SID) generative recommendation (GR) represents each item as a sequence of discrete tokens and predicts the next item through autoregressive SID generation. However, existing methods face two challenges. First, insufficient shared context modeling for user sequences: full-history and recent behaviors provide overlapping yet complementary evidence, but modeling them within a single sequence may dilute current cues, whereas processing them through separate streams may fail to coordinate them. Second, insufficient personalized adaptation in progressive SID decisions: although decoder states evolve with generated prefixes, existing models typically use a shared output-side transformation across recommendation instances, without explicitly selecting a transformation suited to the current user need. To address these challenges, we propose Multi-View Thinking with Adaptive Generation (MV-Thinker), a framework that Thinks Globally and Generates Personally. First, Multi-View Temporal Thinking uses view-specific thinking queries and readers over overlapping full-history and recent-history views, coordinating both sources into complementary user-conditioned contexts before SID generation. Second, Hierarchical Residual Adaptation organizes lightweight adapters into nested residual paths before a shared vocabulary projection, adaptively transforming context-bearing decoder states for SID decisions. Extensive experiments on four public datasets demonstrate that MV-Thinker consistently outperforms strong discriminative and generative recommendation baselines across multiple ranking metrics. Industrial candidate-ranking systems must combine long user behavior histories with heterogeneous user and item features under strict computational budgets. We propose CCFormer, a structured interaction architecture that separates cross-field retrieval from intra-history modeling. Feature-field-separated cross-attention allows user and target queries to read an evolving history hierarchy, while local subspace token mixing contextualizes history tokens independently of candidate targets. Hierarchical sequence compression reduces the number of history tokens and provides multi-scale historical context for subsequent interactions. Experiments on two public benchmarks show higher mean AUC than the evaluated baselines, while experiments on a large-scale industrial dataset show a favorable accuracy-compute trade-off and higher training throughput than HSTU. Online A/B tests across four recommendation and advertising scenarios report system-level improvements of up to 3.57% in click-through rate, 3.86% in page views, and 1.71% in advertising revenue relative to the corresponding production baselines. CCFormer has been fully deployed in all four scenarios, demonstrating its practical scalability and effectiveness in large-scale recommendation systems.

Conversational news recommendation requires grounding each suggestion in a rapidly evolving article corpus while addressing implicit user intents that lack explicit retrievable keywords. To characterize this scenario, we identify 6 intent types from production dialogues: five are implicit and pose fundamental challenges to standard RAG pipelines, forming a critical retrieve-first bottleneck. To address these issues, we introduce intent-driven Semantic ID (SID) generation under a Generate-then-Match paradigm. With two-stage training that consists of multi-task SID alignment and GPT-4 Chain-of-Thought distillation, an LLM maps diverse intents to hierarchical SID prefixes, which are then fuzzy-matched to the current news pool to guarantee fully grounded recommendations. Profile-Aware Dual-Signal Reasoning (PADR) further enables cold-start users to obtain valid recommendations using only profiles. On a mainstream Chinese news platform, our 7B model achieves 0% hallucination and 12.4% L1 match in the 152K open-generation SID space (4 \times random baseline). It matches GPT-4+Hybrid RAG on L1 while surpassing it on finer-grained metrics (L2 2 \times, Category +1.2pp) at \sim 100 \times lower cost. Cold-start users, where existing baselines score 0%, achieve 18.0% L1 (6 \times random), the highest among all user groups.

Agentic reinforcement learning enables large language models to solve long-horizon tasks by interacting with the environment and internalizing tool-use behavior into their reasoning. Prior work assigns supervision primarily based on outcome rewards or external reward models, but largely ignores environment observations, a critical source of learning. Consequently, agents may identify successful actions without understanding how the environment responds, producing suboptimal policies. To address this, we propose SOAR (Supervision from Observation for Agentic Reinforcement Learning), which assigns positive advantages to observation tokens proportional to the negative entropy of preceding actions. This encourages the agent to learn from outcomes of confident actions, grounding policy updates in environment dynamics and improving anticipation of tool-call consequences. Empirical results across three domains and 14 benchmarks show that SOAR improves performance, yielding gains of up to 7.0% on general reasoning tasks and 16.9% on deep research tasks, while reducing erroneous and inefficient tool usage.
