GSExplorer: Interactive World Generation with a Persistent 3D Gaussian World State

原文摘要

Interactive world generation requires both accurate local control and stable scene consistency over long rollouts. Existing methods improve local generation through camera or geometry conditioning and extend historical context with memory mechanisms. However, long-horizon exploration remains challenging as target-view guidance becomes incomplete and inconsistencies accumulate across repeated scene updates. We present \textbf{GSExplorer}, a generation--reconstruction framework built around a persistent 3D Gaussian world state. At each step, the current 3DGS scene provides multimodal rendering conditions for a condition-driven video generator, while camera geometry is injected through a separate Relative Ray Encoding branch. Generated videos are then fed back to a SLAM-based reconstruction backend, where inconsistency filtering prevents conflicting content from corrupting the scene and cross-chunk bundle adjustment improves spatial alignment across generation steps. We further design a data-construction pipeline that reproduces realistic 3DGS degradation during scene extrapolation, yielding 293K training pairs of degraded multimodal renderings and real target videos. GSExplorer achieves the best overall performance among the compared methods on both single-step and three-step WorldScore evaluation, with strong camera control and consistency across both settings, including a Camera Control score of 99.07 in single-step extrapolation. On 481-frame leave-and-return rollouts, it also shows strong revisit consistency, demonstrating the value of maintaining a reliable 3D world state for continued exploration.

From Video to Vision: Learning Generalizable Humanoid Carrying from Human Motion

Jianming Lu, Ziluo Ding, Zhen Zhao, Shuyang Jin, Han Wen, Xinrun Xu, Zhiyuan Xu

原文摘要

Most existing approaches rely on video or motion-capture data for reinforcement learning (RL) training; however, all of these methods require an upper-level module to generate reference trajectories in real time. In object carrying tasks, the humanoid can only lift objects from designated locations along the reference trajectory, resulting in poor spatial generalization. Moreover, existing policies can only be evaluated inside a motion-capture studio. To address these limitations, we propose \textbf{MOVER}, a multi-stage, Teacher-Assistant-Student, RL training framework for humanoid object carrying. We first collect data from videos and employ GENMO and GMR to retarget the video data, combining this with data augmentation techniques to generalize the data across objects of varying shapes and sizes. In the \textbf{first stage}, building upon the DeepMimic \cite{peng2018deepmimic} motion-training framework, we train the humanoid to transport objects from specified locations along designated trajectories. In the \textbf{second stage}, we relax the tracking of the reference motion and adjust the reward so that the humanoid learns to transport objects from different positions. In the \textbf{third stage}, we apply a Dagger-PPO distillation method to distill away the proprioceptive position observations and reference joint position of the humanoid. This allows the deployed policy to operate without relying on global position information from a motion-capture system; instead, the humanoid can directly perceive the object's pose from its onboard RGB-D camera to complete the carrying task. We design a series of simulation experiments to compare the success rates across stages (Stages 1 vs. 2) and before versus after distillation. We further transfer the policy to a real humanoid, successfully transporting objects at varying positions in a motion-capture-free setting.

Does Attention-Guided Masking Really Help Object Discovery in Object-Centric Learning?

Youliang Tao, Yanhua Han, Bin Zhao, Juho Kannala, Joni Pajarinen, Rongzhen Zhao

原文摘要

Object-Centric Learning (OCL) aims to decompose images into objects without human annotations. A major family of mainstream methods uses Slot Attention to aggregate image features into object-level representations and then from them reconstructs masked image content, i.e., Random Masking (RM), to provide self-supervision. The recent method DIAS simply masks image patches at uniform randomness yet achieves competitive object discovery accuracy. Since attention during aggregation already possesses object discovery ability, we explore using it to develop a better image patch masking strategy, i.e., Attention Guided Masking (AGM), thereby providing better self-supervision. Results on six recognized datasets show that AGM does not always outperform RM. Under unconditional slot initialization, AGM substantially improves background segmentation on datasets with realistic textures (COCO and VOC); Regardless of conditional or unconditional slot initialization and across datasets, foreground object discovery remains comparable or decreases. We suggest peer researchers in the OCL community that attempts to exploit internal attention semantics to improve OCL with masked decoding are risky. Our source code, model checkpoints and evaluation logs are available on https://github.com/und-entropy/Does-Attention-Guided-Masking-Really-Help-Object-Discovery-in-Object-Centric-Learning-.

DUET4D: Self-Corrective Coupled Guidance for Sparse-View 4D Reconstruction

原文摘要

Sparse-view 4D reconstruction is highly under-constrained when only a few cameras are available. Generative priors can recover missing appearances, but video models are computationally impractical for iterative reconstruction, whereas single-view models produce temporally inconsistent pseudo-observations. Moreover, directly absorbing uncertain generative outputs into Gaussian optimization often creates redundant primitives and floating artifacts. To address these challenges, we propose DUET4D, a self-corrective coupled guidance framework for sparse-view 4D Gaussian splatting. The core of our approach is a self-corrective framework where the 4D representation guides generative prior for spatio-temporal consistent supervisions. We first construct sequential alignments from current Gaussian evidence to steer the latent restoration. Then we use Sequential Fidelity Resampling to lift generative supervisions into Gaussian space to selectively distinguish repeatedly supported primitives. The corrected representation then provides more reliable Gaussian evidence for the next restoration cycle. Extensive experiments demonstrate that DUET4D significantly improves rendering quality and rendering efficiency.

原文摘要

The pursuit of general-purpose robotic manipulation is hindered by the scarcity of diverse, real-world interaction data. Unlike large-scale web vision-language data, robotic data collection incurs prohibitive physical costs. The key challenge is thus not merely to collect more robot data, but to obtain informative training data that broadens behavioral coverage across objects, scenes, and skills. Yet automatically curating task proposals to maximize the utility of collected data remains under-explored. We introduce RoboGene, an agentic framework for generating diverse, informative manipulation tasks across single-arm, dual-arm, and mobile robots. RoboGene combines (1) diversity-driven sampling for broad task coverage, (2) agentic self-reflection for task-quality assessment, and (3) human-verified feedback memory for execution-grounded validation and continual refinement. Through quantitative analysis and large-scale real-world experiments, we collect 18k trajectories and introduce metrics for task feasibility and diversity. RoboGene significantly outperforms frontier foundation models, including GPT-4o and Gemini 2.5 Pro. VLA models trained on RoboGene-generated data achieve higher success rates and stronger generalization, highlighting the value of high-quality task generation. TrustTable: A Neuro-Symbolic Auditing Framework for Faithful Table QA

Guangzhen Zhao Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Dechang Kong, Tongyu Wu, Zhenjiang Dong Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications

原文摘要

Large Language Models based Table Question Answering (LLMs-based TableQA) models excel in NLP field, however, they occasionally exhibit an unfaithful behavior where correct answers are derived through erroneous reasoning paths. In this condition, we propose TrustTable, a neuro-symbolic framework designed to ensure reasoning faithfulness by auditing the reasoning processes of LLMs. Unlike monolithic LLM-based auditors, TrustTable decouples the auditing operation into two orthogonal dimensions. It enforces factual grounding by executing neurally generated Pandas code against the table, and ensures logical soundness by verifying reasoning chains through a LLM-synthesized formal solver. By integrating these symbolic checks, TrustTable enables a Label-Free Audit Loop that systematically identifies and rectifies reasoning flaws without human supervision. In addition, we present the TrustTable-Bench, a diagnostic dataset containing diverse error categories that range from calculation discrepancies to schema misalignments. This benchmark allows for a rigorous quantification of reasoning limitations. Experiments demonstrate that our symbolic audit detects reasoning flaws more accurately than advanced baselines. More broadly, the TrustTable outperforms LLM judges in both majority voting with logical weighting and rejection sampling with process supervision.
