Recent perception-free end-to-end (E2E) autonomous driving methods bypass explicit perception outputs by compressing dense image patch tokens into compact scene tokens for downstream trajectory generation and scoring. While these scene tokens form a compact visual bottleneck for the planner, they receive supervision solely from the planning objective, providing limited constraints on the encoded visual information. To address this limitation, we introduce Neural Token Reconstruction (NTR), a representation learning framework to directly constrain the compact scene-token bottleneck in perception-free driving. NTR introduces a self-distillation masked latent reconstruction objective that reconstructs masked patch-level latent features using only compact scene tokens as reconstruction memory. This forces reconstruction gradients to pass exclusively through the scene-token bottleneck, encouraging scene tokens to preserve richer and less redundant visual representations for planning. We further introduce semantic priors derived from foundation-model annotations as a weak semantic interface biasing reconstruction targets toward driving-related structures without introducing explicit perception heads. All auxiliary reconstruction components are removed at inference time, leaving the deployed planner unchanged. NTR achieves state-of-the-art performance on three public autonomous driving benchmarks, including 8.0461 RFS on Waymo E2E and 94.1 PDMS / 90.9 EPDMS on NavSim1&2. The learned scene tokens exhibit lower pairwise redundancy and higher effective rank, indicating that effective bottleneck supervision improves both compact visual representation learning and planning performance.
Semi-dense local feature matching commonly aggregates contextual information before coarse-to-fine correspondence estimation. However, intra-image and inter-image aggregation serve different roles: the former should propagate spatial evidence within each image while retaining structured two-dimensional dependencies, whereas the latter should gather information from plausible corresponding regions while limiting noise from unrelated locations. We propose WovenAnchor Matcher (WAM), a semi-dense matching framework based on role-specialized context aggregation. WAM introduces two complementary operators. WovenMamba performs intra-image aggregation through horizontal-then-vertical state-space propagation, allowing vertical updates to operate on horizontally contextualized features and thereby encouraging a structured two-dimensional receptive-field bias. AnchorCrossAttention performs inter-image aggregation by using cross-attention to gather context from plausible corresponding regions across the image pair. It performs this exchange over local representative anchors that aggregate feature evidence within each window. On MegaDepth, WAM achieves 66.1 pose AUC@5$^\circ$, improving on the JamMa baseline by 2.0 AUC points under the same evaluation setup. Ablations show that removing or replacing either specialized component reduces accuracy, providing evidence that intra-image propagation and inter-image retrieval benefit from role-specific aggregation designs. Multi-modal Large Language Models (MLLMs) for Visual Question Answering (VQA) often suffer from dual limitations: knowledge hallucination and insufficient fine-grained visual perception. Crucially, we identify that commonsense graphs and scene graphs provide precisely complementary solutions to these respective deficiencies by providing rich external knowledge and capturing fine-grained visual details. However, prior works typically treat them in isolation, overlooking their synergistic potential. To bridge this gap, we propose KG-ViP, a unified framework that empowers MLLMs by fusing scene graphs and commonsense graphs. The core of the KG-ViP framework is a novel retrieval-and-fusion pipeline that utilizes the query as a semantic bridge to progressively integrate both graphs, synthesizing a unified structured context that facilitates reliable multi-modal reasoning. Extensive experiments on FVQA 2.0+ and MVQA benchmarks demonstrate that KG-ViP significantly outperforms existing VQA methods.
