Adapting robot manipulation policies to new tasks and environments remains highly data-intensive, while the data needed for further improvement depends on the policy's current capabilities and failure modes. We introduce EmbodiRSI, an agentic system for recursive self-improvement (RSI) in a real-to-sim-to-real setting, where task-specific simulations are constructed from target deployment scenarios and used as low-cost environments for iterative policy improvement before transfer back to the physical world. EmbodiRSI uses policy execution feedback to guide subsequent experience acquisition and policy updates. Two complementary mechanisms close this loop: Collaborative Error Correction generates agent-assisted corrective trajectories from policy-reached states, while Adaptive Data Collection directs expert demonstration generation toward the current policy's weaknesses. The task-specific simulation serves as a reusable workspace for policy warm-up, repeatable evaluation, failure diagnosis, and targeted data generation across successive RSI rounds. Across three tabletop environments and 14 subtasks, EmbodiRSI increases scene-balanced autonomous simulation success from 50.4% to 83.5% over two RSI updates. With 400 adaptive simulated trajectories and only ten real-world refinement trajectories per subtask, EmbodiRSI achieves 83.1% scene-balanced autonomous real-world success, compared with 75.0% for adaptation using 200 real-world demonstrations per subtask. These results demonstrate that feedback-driven recursive improvement in deployment-specific simulations can enable data-efficient adaptation of embodied policies to physical environments.
Large language models (LLMs) remain vulnerable to jailbreak attacks in which adversarial prompts induce harmful outputs. Existing defenses often require access to the model internals or additional training, limiting their applicability for service providers deployed through black-box APIs. In this paper, we propose DYNASHIELD, a moving target defense framework that improves robustness by customizing decoding hyperparameters and system prompts at inference time. DYNASHIELD includes two key steps: (1) it identifies decoding configurations that reduce attack success probability, and (2) it probabilistically samples from a weighted configuration pool to introduce controlled variability in model behavior. We evaluate DYNASHIELD across 7 open-source LLMs under 4 state-of-the-art jailbreak attacks, using adversarial prompts from AdvBench. Results show substantial reductions in attack success rate compared with 7 baseline defenses, while maintaining response quality and incurring minimal inference overhead. Because DYNASHIELD operates solely through exposed runtime controls, it requires no retraining or model-internal access. These results suggest that safety-aware dynamic decoding is a promising and practically lightweight defense mechanism for black-box LLM deployments.

While advertising is a cornerstone of commercial growth, it is constrained by online violation detection systems that reject non-compliant content at a million-scale daily. Advertisers urgently require automated solutions to rectify these advertisements, especially visual ads, as manual fixing is unscalable. Although recent safety-driven methods can achieve compliance, they typically suffer from over-editing, destroying the original commercial intent and perceptual similarity. To address this, we present SSR-A, a framework tailored for the minimalist rectification of non-compliant image ads.Instead of fine-tuning image editing models directly, SSR-A focuses on translating violation policies into targeted editing instructions. We first introduce a Spatial- and Semantic-Aware Instruction Synthesis Pipeline, where MLLMs synthesize candidate instructions—incorporating spatial grounding and semantic guidance—and select the optimal instruction via multi-dimensional evaluation. Furthermore, we align the model using Curriculum Reinforcement Learning, employing GRPO with multi-faceted rewards to progressively navigate the trade-off between compliance and visual preservation. Extensive experiments and online A/B tests show that SSR-A significantly outperforms state-of-the-art baselines in both compliance and preservation of visual and commercial consistency.

Rigorous content moderation is crucial for online advertising but leads to millions of daily rejections. This scale renders manual rectification infeasible, particularly for video advertisements. However, existing safety-driven methods often suffer from aggressive over-editing, which compromises the advertiser’s original semantic intent merely to satisfy compliance. In this work, we target the rectification of textual violations in video ads, covering both speech transcripts and on-screen text. We propose \mathcal{R}^3, a novel framework designed to harmonize compliance with original semantic intent preservation. Our approach integrates three key innovations: (1) an experience-driven data synthesis framework that bootstraps high-quality supervision via group-Relative compliance experience extractor; (2) a curriculum Reinforcement learning strategy with hierarchical rewards designed to enforce compliance while maximizing semantic consistency;and (3) a comprehensive video Rectification framework seamlessly integrating text recognition, rewriting, and re-rendering for industrial deployment. Extensive experiments on industrial datasets and online A/B testing demonstrate that \mathcal{R}^3 significantly outperforms state-of-the-art baselines, achieving an optimal trade-off between violation rectification and intent preservation.

Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) enhances large language models (LLMs) by incorporating external knowledge, yet traditional single-round retrieval struggles with complex multi-step reasoning.Agentic RAG addresses this by enabling LLMs to dynamically decide when and what to retrieve, but current RL-based training methods suffer from sparse outcome rewards that discard intermediate signals and low sample efficiency where failed samples contribute nothing. We propose Search-P1, a framework that introduces path-centric reward shaping for agentic RAG training, comprising two key components: (1) Path-Centric Reward, which evaluates the structural quality of reasoning trajectories through order-agnostic step coverage and soft scoring that extracts learning signals even from failed samples, and (2) Dual-Track Path Scoring with offline-generated reference planners that assesses paths from both self-consistency and reference-alignment perspectives.Experiments on multiple QA benchmarks demonstrate that Search-P1 achieves significant improvements over Search-R1 and other strong baselines, with an average accuracy gain of 7.7 points.

Industrial advertising question answering (QA) is a high-stakes task in which hallucinated content, particularly fabricated URLs, can lead to financial loss, compliance violations, and legal risk. Although Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) is widely adopted, deploying it in production remains challenging because industrial knowledge is inherently relational, frequently updated, and insufficiently aligned with generation objectives. We propose a reinforced co-adaptation framework that jointly optimizes retrieval and generation through two components: (1) Graph-aware Retrieval (GraphRAG), which models entity-relation structure over a high-citation knowledge subgraph for multi-hop, domain-specific evidence selection; and (2) evidence-constrained reinforcement learning via Group Relative Policy Optimization (GRPO) with multi-dimensional rewards covering faithfulness, style compliance, safety, and URL validity. Experiments on an internal advertising QA dataset show consistent gains across expert-judged dimensions including accuracy, completeness, and safety, while reducing the hallucination rate by 72%. A two-week online A/B test demonstrates a 28.6% increase in like rate, a 46.2% decrease in dislike rate, and a 92.7% reduction in URL hallucination. The system has been running in production for over half a year and has served millions of QA interactions.

Online advertising governance faces significant challenges due to the non-stationary nature of regulatory policies, where emerging mandates (e.g., restrictions on education or aesthetic anxiety) create severe label inconsistencies and reasoning ambiguities in historical datasets. In this paper, we propose ARGUS, a policy-adaptive governance system that enables evolving reinforcement through multi-agent adversarial umpiring. ARGUS addresses the sparsity of new policy data by employing a three-stage framework: (1) Policy Seeding for initial perception; (2) Adversarial Label Rectification, which utilizes a ”Prosecutor-Defender-Umpire” architecture to resolve conflicts between stale labels and new mandates; and (3) Latent Knowledge Discovery, which employs a tripartite dialectical discussion to unearth sophisticated, “gray-area” violations. By leveraging RAG-enhanced policy knowledge and Chain-of-Thought synthesis as dynamic rewards for reinforcement learning, ARGUS synchronizes its reasoning pathways with evolving regulations. Extensive experiments on both industrial and public datasets demonstrate that ARGUS significantly outperforms traditional fine-tuning baselines, achieving superior policy-adaptive learning with minimal gold data.

Large language models (LLMs) are largely static and often redo reasoning or repeat mistakes. Prior experience reuse typically relies on external retrieval, which is similarity-based, can introduce noise, and adds latency. We introduce SEAM (Structured Experience Adapter Module), a lightweight, executor-specific plug-in that stores experience in its parameters and generates a structured, instance-tailored experience entry in a single forward pass to guide a frozen LLM executor. SEAM is trained for utility via executor rollouts and GRPO while keeping the executor frozen, and can be further improved with logged-success SFT after deployment. Experiments on mathematical reasoning benchmarks show consistent accuracy gains across executors with low overhead. Extensive ablation and analysis further elucidate the mechanisms underlying SEAM’s effectiveness and robustness.

Tool-calling agents are increasingly deployed in real-world customer-facing workflows. Yet most studies on tool-calling agents focus on idealized settings with general, fixed, and well-specified tasks. In real-world applications, user requests are often (1) ambiguous, (2) changing over time, or (3) infeasible due to policy constraints, and training and evaluation data that cover these diverse, complex interaction patterns remain under-represented.To bridge the gap, we present Trajectory2Task a verifiable data generation pipeline for studying tool use at scale under three realistic user scenarios: ambiguous intent, changing intent, and infeasible intents. The pipeline first conducts multi-turn exploration to produce valid tool-call trajectories. It then converts these trajectories into user-facing tasks with controlled intent adaptations. This process yields verifiable task that support closed-loop evaluation and training. We benchmark several state-of-the-art LLMs on the generated complex user scenario tasks and observe frequent failures. Finally, using successful trajectories obtained from task rollouts, we fine-tune lightweight LLMs and find consistent improvements across all three conditions, along with better generalization to unseen tool-use domains, indicating stronger tool-calling ability.

Large language models (LLMs) are increasingly applied to scientific research, yet existing evaluations often fail to reflect the fine-grained capabilities required in practice. Most benchmarks are manually curated or domain-generic, limiting scalability and alignment with real scientific use cases. In this paper, we propose a new framework named SciCustom to address the problem. It enables the custom construction of benchmarks from large-scale scientific data to evaluate application-specific scientific capabilities in LLMs. SciCustom first organizes scientific knowledge into ontology-grounded knowledge units with controlled granularity and trains a tagger to map large-scale data instances into this knowledge space. Given a custom requirement, relevant knowledge units are identified via voting-based multi-model consensus. These units enable relevance-aware benchmark retrieval via binary search, followed by proxy subset selection and data-grounded benchmark generation for efficient evaluation. Experiments in chemistry and healthcare demonstrate that SciCustom reveals fine-grained differences in LLM scientific capabilities that standard benchmarks overlook, while requiring neither expert annotation nor synthetic question generation. This work provides a scalable and application-aware foundation for benchmarking scientific capabilities in LLMs.

As researchers delve more deeply into their work, paper search requirements may become more flexible, sometimes involving specific details such as module configuration rather than being limited to coarse-grained topics. However, previous paper search systems are unable to meet these flexible-grained requirements, as previous systems mainly collect paper abstract to construct corpus index, which lacks detailed information to support retrieval by some finer-grained queries. In this work, we propose PaperRegister, which transforms traditional abstract-based index into a hierarchical index tree, thereby supporting queries at flexible granularity. Experiments on paper search tasks across a range of granularity demonstrate that PaperRegister achieves the SOTA performance, and particularly excels in the fine-grained scenarios, highlighting good potential as an effective solution for flexible-grained paper search in real-world applications.

Eye movement offers valuable insights into human visual attention during assessment of machine-generated texts, yet existing research and resources in this area are limited. To bridge this gap, we introduce Gaze Responses for Evaluating AI Texts (GREAT), a comprehensive dataset capturing human eye-movement features during screen reading of passages generated by large language models (LLMs). The dataset includes raw eye-movement recordings, reading-time measurements, and post-reading evaluations for LLM-generated passage pairs, alongside rigorous validation metrics. The collected eye-movement features demonstrate strong explanatory power in predicting text quality. When integrated with negative log-likelihood (NLL), a commonly used metric for evaluating text quality, it substantially enhances model performance across all standard statistical criteria. These findings demonstrate that eye-movement can act as an effective source of information that complements probabilistic metrics, for the task of automatic text quality assessment. The full dataset and some processing code are publicly available at https://github.com/qwurd231/GREAT.

Function calling significantly extends the application boundary of large language models, where high-quality and diverse training data is critical for unlocking this capability. However, real function-calling data is quite challenging to collect and annotate, while synthetic data generated by existing pipelines tends to lack coverage and accuracy. In this paper, we present ToolACE, an automatic agentic pipeline designed to generate accurate, complex, and diverse tool-learning data. ToolACE leverages a novel self-evolution synthesis process to curate a comprehensive API pool of 26,507 diverse APIs. Dialogs are further generated through the interplay among multiple agents, guided by a formalized thinking process. To ensure data accuracy, we implement a dual-layer verification system combining rule-based and model-based checks. We demonstrate that models trained on our synthesized data, even with only 8B parameters, achieve state-of-the-art performance on the Berkeley Function-Calling Leaderboard, rivaling the latest GPT-4 models. Our model and a subset of the data are publicly available at https://huggingface.co/Team-ACE.
