Towards Generalist Graph-Level Anomaly Detection

Junjun Pan, Yixin Liu, Yu Zheng, Fuyi Li, Alan Wee-Chung Liew, Shirui Pan

Graph-level anomaly detection (GLAD) aims to identify graphs that deviate significantly from the majority. While recent advances have achieved competitive performance, existing approaches mainly follow a dataset-specific paradigm, requiring substantial in-domain data and training cost when applied to new application scenarios. This limits their scalability and practicality in real-world applications where labeled data is scarce and diverse domains are continuously emerging. In this paper, we investigate the problem of generalist GLAD, which seeks to learn a single unified model capable of detecting anomalous graphs across multiple domains with minimal supervision on the target data. This problem introduces key challenges, including learning transferable patterns from heterogeneous graph datasets and effective adaptation under limited supervision. To address these challenges, we propose GenGLAD, a generalist GLAD approach that leverages discriminative subgraph extraction as the core mechanism to learn transferable anomaly knowledge and enable efficient adaptation to new domains. Specifically, GenGLAD employs a graph neural network-based discriminative subgraph extraction model to learn the anomaly-discriminative substructures that distinguish anomalous and normal graphs across diverse domains. During the test-time adaptation phase, multi-dimensional discrepancies between the extracted subgraph and multi-level contextual information are calculated to characterize anomalies from multiple perspectives. For efficient adaptation, a lightweight scoring module is introduced to automatically decide the most informative signals, improving robustness against misleading patterns. Extensive experiments on diverse benchmark datasets demonstrate that the proposed approach achieves strong performance, superior generalization ability, and improved data efficiency compared to existing methods.

AtlasULP: Domain-aware Universal Link Prediction via Relation Atlas

Yujing Liu, Yixin Liu, Yu Zheng, Lianhua Chi, Alan Wee-Chung Liew, Heng Tao Shen, Shirui Pan

Link prediction (LP) is a widely applied task in graph learning. Conventional LP approaches typically follow a dataset-specific paradigm, requiring independent training for each graph and incurring high computational and maintenance costs in large-scale applications. Motivated by these limitations, recent work explores Universal Link Prediction (ULP), aiming to enable training-free inference on arbitrary unseen graphs. However, existing methods primarily rely on subgraph sampling strategies to construct universal representations, which are unable to capture higher-order information due to the exponential growth of higher-order neighborhoods. As a result, they often under-perform on graphs where long-range signals are essential, such as biological networks. Moreover, their prediction models are typically domain-agnostic and lack the ability to adapt to different graph domains, leading to limited generalization. To address these challenges, we propose an Atlas-based Universal Link Prediction framework (AtlasULP), which introduces the relation atlas to capture structural associations between node pairs from both global and local perspectives, enabling a comprehensive characterization of connectivity signals across diverse graph domains. Building upon this representation, we develop a domain-guided prompting ULP model, which generates domain-aware prompt tokens from contextual structures and performs prompt-guided in-context prediction for adaptive link inference. Extensive experiments demonstrate that AtlasULP consistently outperforms state-of-the-art methods across diverse graph domains.

AI 速览:提出上下文感知的自回归图像生成框架,让模型依据全局上下文与当前局部信息动态决定下一个 token 的位置,而非固定或随机顺序。

Autoregressive image generation has recently emerged as a competitive visual generation paradigm, yet its generation order is often predefined or heuristic, such as next-patch prediction, random-order prediction, or one-step generation for specific scales. We observe that these strategies can cause models to overlook important structural dependencies in images, thereby limiting both structural robustness and reasoning capability. In this work, we propose a context-aware autoregressive generation framework, where the model dynamically determines the next token location based on global context and current local information. Rather than following a fixed or random order, our method allows the generation process to adapt to image structure and semantic dependencies. Extensive experiments show that context-aware generation significantly improves structural robustness across different image AR paradigms, including masked autoregressive and scale-wise autoregressive models. Beyond quantitative improvements, we further observe emerging reasoning properties: the model can better understand complex semantic instructions and generate images that more faithfully follow the given guidance. These findings suggest that generation order is a critical yet underexplored factor in image autoregressive modeling, and that context-aware decoding can unlock stronger reasoning-aware visual generation capabilities. Axion 1.0: Open Agent Foundation Models, Simplified

Yuqi Jia, Yunjie Tian, Jiayu Zheng, Yijun Liang, Jingchen Sun, Mengyu Zhao, Di Fu

We introduce Axion 1.0, a fully open agent foundation model that combines strong and broad agentic capabilities with a remarkably simple training recipe. Axion 1.0 is trained in only three stages: two lightweight supervised fine-tuning stages followed by reinforcement learning, without dedicated mid-training, direct preference optimization (DPO), or on-policy distillation (OPD). The first SFT stage develops strong self-contained reasoning through model-aware data construction, where we synthesize challenging problems and adversarially strengthen them based on the base model's own successful solution strategies. The second stage extends these capabilities to tool-dependent reasoning through a scalable pipeline for constructing diverse and automatically verifiable tasks grounded in real-world data sources and deterministic computation. Finally, reinforcement learning further strengthens long-horizon reasoning and interaction with external tools and environments. Despite this compact training recipe, Axion 1.0 achieves strong performance across a broad suite of agentic benchmarks and is competitive with leading commercial models on several of them. Equally importantly, Axion 1.0 is open beyond model weights: we release the complete recipe, including data construction, generation, filtering, verification, prompts, and training code, enabling the entire development process to be reproduced and extended. Axion 1.0 demonstrates that strong agent foundation models can be both open and simple, offering a practical and reproducible path toward advancing open agentic intelligence.

Q-Score: A Quantum-Native Scoring Function for Molecular Docking

Kangyu Zheng, Yidong Zhou, Ruihao Li, Zixin Ding, Zhiding Liang, Shaohua Li

Molecular docking predicts how a small molecule binds to a protein and is a key bottleneck in drug discovery. Classical scoring functions sum empirical pairwise contacts, blind to quantum-mechanical effects like orbital charge transfer that govern binding specificity. We introduce Q-Score, encoding GNN-predicted orbital donor-acceptor energies into a weighted graph and scoring binding by solving a maximum-weight vertex clique problem via Digitized-Counterdiabatic QAOA. Each interaction anchor maps to one qubit and compatibility constraints become edges. Across 11 protein targets, DC-QAOA recovers the exact optimum on 8 at 10 qubits. On 1000 AI-generated molecules, Q-Score is orthogonal to classical scoring with Spearman rho of 0.05, driven by orbital quality with rho of 0.90, and free of molecular-weight bias, enriching for strong orbital interactions at twice the random rate. DC-QAOA achieves a mean approximation ratio of 0.94 with 52 percent exact. Execution of 1000 circuits on IBM Eagle confirms 6-qubit solvability on NISQ hardware.

ReplayFactor: Replay-Aware Dual-Attribute Learning for Practical Speech Deepfake Detection

Miao He, Jiayi Zhou, Yu Zheng, Zhongjie Ba, Peng Cheng, Yuxi Zhou, Junjie Zhu, Changhao Zhang 等 9 位作者

Advances in synthesis techniques have made deepfake speech increasingly realistic, amplifying voice security threats, including unauthorized voice cloning and impersonation. Although existing deepfake detectors perform well on digitally generated speech, their performance often degrades on physically replayed deepfakes, which constitute a low-cost and practical threat to real-world systems. Existing research focuses primarily on dataset construction and evaluation, while available dataset diversity and replay-aware detector design remain limited. We propose ReplayFactor, a dual-attribute framework that enhances replay evidence by fusing self-supervised learning (SSL) representations with an acoustic prior, while leveraging multi-task learning and supervised contrastive learning to promote robust, generalizable representations. We also construct ReplayFake-CN, a large-scale, multi-device Chinese dataset comprising approximately 185k replayed synthetic utterances to complement public benchmarks. Our framework improves macro-F1 from 60.99% to 76.44% and reduces EER from 11.86% to 3.05% on the EchoFake open set over the baseline, demonstrating strong potential for practical replayed deepfake detection.

Clinical genomic analysis requires experts to integrate evolving guidelines, databases, and computational evidence. As sequencing has become increasingly accessible, this complex and labor-intensive process has become a major bottleneck to the timely use of genomic information in clinical decision-making. To fill this gap, we developed ClinGeX, a large-language-model agent that composes 105 curated executable skills through task-specific retrieval and dependency-aware orchestration. On 223 temporally held-out benchmark cases, ClinGeX achieved 71.7\% macro-averaged task-level concordance with expert reference classifications, compared with 45.7\% for the strongest comparator. In a three-condition, counterbalanced human-AI collaboration study, 45 clinical genomic professionals assessed 135 clinically derived cases under routine (no AI assistance), DeepSeek-assisted and ClinGeX-assisted conditions. ClinGeX assistance increased raw case-level concordance across criterion-level variant analysis, genomic interpretation in rare disease and molecular oncology decision-making (51.1\%, 57.8\%, 64.4\% versus 15.6\%, 31.1\%, 20.0\% in comparator conditions) and reduced reported interpretation time in all scenarios. During an exploratory one-month real-world non-interventional assessment, 11 experienced professionals submitted feedback on 96 self-selected analysis episodes and reported frequent conclusion adoption and time savings. These findings support executable domain skills as a promising approach to augment specialist genomic interpretation.

Large language models support personalized tutoring, content generation, and adaptive learning paths. However, capability development requires these resources and interactions to form a coherent learning process that evolves with the learner. A central challenge is to align goals, activities, and assessment while using learning evidence to decide what should follow. We introduce Human-Participatory Multi-Agent Organization and instantiate it in Agentic University (AU). In AU, learners participate as organization members and work with specialized agents to maintain a revisable Capability Program. The program connects personal goals, learning activities across modalities, and layered assessment, while learner feedback and performance guide subsequent support. Our evaluation shows advantages in program organization, assessment design, and revision quality. Users achieved larger mean assessment gains (12.19 versus 5.61 points on a 50-point scale) and reported stronger cognitive support. This work contributes an organizational approach to adaptive learning that makes learner participation a continuing basis for multi-agent coordination. VibeVideoBench: Evaluating Multimodal Agents on Code-Driven Video Generation

Muxi Diao, Wenbin Xu, Lele Yang, Xuyang Ma, Yuzhe Chen, Jiankang Chen, Kaiyu Jiang, Changyi Liu 等 24 位作者

Diffusion video models produce striking clips, but they cannot reliably render an exact formula, a correct chart, a rule-consistent game or narration synchronized to on-screen events. A different route is emerging: multimodal agents that write code to render every frame and synthesize every sound. We introduce VibeVideoBench, a benchmark for evaluating agents on code-driven video generation. Its 239 self-contained tasks in English and Chinese span 12 categories, from data stories and music-driven pieces to classroom lessons and paper explainers; each asks an agent, running in its native harness inside a sandbox with no image or video generation model, to deliver a finished MP4 with sound within one hour. Evaluation is hierarchical and evidence-based: program checks of the delivery spec, about 13k task-specific rubric checks traced to the requirements they enforce, and five quality dimensions anchored per task, scored by three VLM judge panels. Across nine frontier agent systems and 2,151 scored rollouts, GPT-6 Astra and Claude Opus 5.5 rank first and second with both the judges and human annotators, and the strongest system satisfies every core requirement on 76.3% of tasks. Delivery is a second axis: counting missing videos as zero changes the ranking, and three quarters of the lost videos are final renders that started too late, ran too slowly or never started, a failure of how agents plan their hour. Agents build their own rendering pipelines and inspect their own frames, yet how much they look does not predict quality. The judges' ranking of the systems closely matches blind human preferences.

Work Agents: Systems, Capabilities, and Optimization

Zishan Xu, Enjun Du, Mingqi Gao, Cheng Yang, Junhao Shen, Zirong Chen, Zhiyuan Yao, Yifu Guo 等 16 位作者

As foundation models evolve from information generation to digital work execution, agents are increasingly capable of completing complex tasks across tools, applications, and workflows. However, existing research lacks a unified perspective on how agents reliably accomplish delegated work. To address this gap, we present a work-centric, system-level perspective that views work agents as systems combining foundation models and runtime harnesses to execute tasks in stateful workspaces and deliver verifiable outcomes. We introduce two complementary dimensions, work persistence and work openness, to characterize working conditions, and classify digital work into five forms according to task scope and organization. Building on this framework, we identify five core capability families required for reliable work execution and examine approaches to model optimization, harness optimization, and their joint optimization. We further analyze existing evaluation methods and metrics from the perspective of work outcomes. Finally, we discuss future research directions, including sustained work delegation, adaptation to open environments, and the interaction between work execution and capability improvement. This paper provides a unified framework for understanding, optimizing, and evaluating work agents, supporting the development of systems capable of delivering reliable, verifiable, and practically valuable work outcomes.

Explainable and Fine-Grained Safeguarding of LLM Multi-Agent Systems via Bi-Level Graph Anomaly Detection

Junjun Pan, Yixin Liu Griffith University, Rui Miao, Kaize Ding Northwestern University, Yu Zheng Griffith University, Quoc Viet Hung Nguyen Griffith University, Alan Wee-Chung Liew Griffith University, Shirui Pan Griffith University

Large language model (LLM)-based multi-agent systems (MAS) have shown strong capabilities in solving complex tasks. As MAS become increasingly autonomous in various safety-critical tasks, detecting malicious agents has become a critical security concern. Although existing graph anomaly detection (GAD)-based defenses can identify anomalous agents, they mainly rely on coarse sentence-level information and overlook fine-grained lexical cues, leading to suboptimal performance. Moreover, the lack of interpretability in these methods limits their reliability and real-world applicability. To address these limitations, we propose , an explainable and fine-grained safeguarding framework for detecting malicious agents in MAS. To incorporate both coarse and fine-grained textual information for anomalous agent identification, we utilize a bi-level agent encoder to jointly model the sentence- and token-level representations of each agent. A theme-based anomaly detector further captures the evolving discussion focus in MAS dialogues, while a bi-level score fusion mechanism quantifies token-level contributions for explanation. Extensive experiments across diverse MAS topologies and attack scenarios demonstrate robust detection performance and strong interpretability of XG-Guard.

A Comprehensive Survey of Process Reward Models: Data Generation, Model Construction, and Usage

Congmin Zheng, Jiachen Zhu, Zhuoying Ou, Yuxiang Chen, Kangning Zhang, Rong Shan Shanghai Jiaotong University, Zeyu Zheng Carnegie Mellon University, Mengyue Yang University of Bristol 等 11 位作者

Large Language Models (LLMs) have advanced reasoning ability, yet conventional alignment remains dominated by outcome reward models (ORMs) that judge only final answers. Process Reward Models(PRMs) address this gap by evaluating and guiding reasoning at the step or trajectory level. This survey provides a systematic overview of PRMs through the full loop: how to generate process data, build PRMs, and use PRMs for test-time scaling and reinforcement learning. We summarize applications across math, code, text, multimodal reasoning, robotics, and agents, and review emerging benchmarks. Our goal is to clarify design spaces, reveal open challenges, and guide future research toward fine-grained, robust reasoning alignment.

Pub-LawBench: Public-Oriented Benchmarking for LegalAI

Qiaoyu Zheng, Zehan Ma, Yijing Zhang, Qiqi Wang Nankai University, Huijia Li, Qian Liu University of Auckland

Large language models (LLMs) are playing an increasingly pivotal role in LegalAI. However, existing benchmarks are primarily tailored for legal professionals, emphasizing deep reasoning and explainability. While public-facing legal applications demand outputs that are direct, actionable, and accessible, a need largely overlooked by current evaluation frameworks. To bridge this gap, we propose a public-oriented LegalAI benchmark grounded in legal functionalism and genre analysis. Specifically, we categorize public legal demands into two core tasks: Instant Question Answering and Legal Text Generation. We further introduce three public-oriented evaluation dimensions: legal normativity, content relevance, and format usability, which collectively assess the practical validity and user readiness of model outputs. To reflect real-world lay user usage, we evaluate 17 LLMs on Pub-LawBench using only simple prompts and Chain-of-Thought under a vanilla inference setting, excluding complex techniques like RAG or agent-based methods inaccessible to non-experts. Experiments reveal limitations of current LLMs in delivering effective public-oriented legal assistance, highlighting the need for more user-centric model development and benchmarking. Our code and datasets are available for review at https://anonymous.4open.science/r/P-LawBench-E565/.

Example Quality Matters: Multi-Aspects Example Augmentation for Private Library Programming

Yuhao Li Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Haifeng Sun, Xuesong Zhang, Shu Yao, Haoyu Zheng, Yvchuan Wang Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Huazheng Wang, Zirui Zhuang Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications 等 11 位作者

Recent advances in large language models (LLMs) have significantly improved code-generation capabilities, particularly through retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) for private libraries. While RAG leverages API documentation to address the scarcity of private code corpora, its performance critically depends on the quality of retrieved examples. Existing approaches often overlook the intrinsic characteristics of these examples, particularly how factors such as complexity, readability, and correctness impact their effectiveness. In this study, we systematically investigate these three critical aspects—complexity, readability, and correctness—and find that optimal examples should exhibit moderate complexity, semantic correctness, and step-by-step execution patterns. Based on these findings, we propose ComboPrompt, a novel example enhancement method that strategically combines existing API examples to improve complexity, refines code structure for readability, and incorporates automated validation ensuring correctness. Extensive evaluations across five private library benchmarks and different LLMs demonstrate that ComboPrompt achieves up to 22% accuracy improvement over baseline approaches. Code is available at Github.

PodBench: A Comprehensive Benchmark for Instruction-Aware Audio-Oriented Podcast Script Generation

Chenning Xu Tencent Hunyuan Team, Mao Zheng, Mingyu Zheng, Mingyang Song Tencent

Podcast script generation requires LLMs to synthesize structured, context-grounded dialogue from diverse inputs, yet systematic evaluation resources for this task remain limited. To bridge this gap, we introduce PodBench, a benchmark comprising 800 samples with inputs up to 21K tokens and complex multi-speaker instructions. We propose a multifaceted evaluation framework that integrates quantitative constraints with LLM-based quality assessment. Extensive experiments reveal that while proprietary models generally excel, open-source models equipped with explicit reasoning demonstrate superior robustness in handling long contexts and multi-speaker coordination compared to standard baselines. However, our analysis uncovers a persistent divergence where high instruction following does not guarantee high content substance. PodBench offers a reproducible testbed to address these challenges in long-form, audio-centric script generation.

PILOT: Planning via Internalized Latent Optimization Trajectories for Large Language Models

Haoyu Zheng, Yun Zhu Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, Yuqian Yuan Qwen Team and Zhejiang University, Bo Yuan, Wenqiao Zhang Zhejiang University, Siliang Tang Zhejiang University, Jun Xiao Zhejiang University

Strategic planning is critical for multi-step reasoning, yet compact Language Language Models (LLMs) often lack the capacity to formulate global strategies, leading to error propagation in long-horizon tasks. Our analysis reveals that LLMs possess latent reasoning capabilities that can be unlocked when conditioned on explicit plans from a teacher model; however, runtime reliance on external guidance is often impractical due to latency and availability constraints. To bridge this gap, we propose PILOT (Planning via Internalized Latent Optimization Trajectories), a non-invasive framework designed to internalize the strategic oversight of large models into intrinsic Latent Guidance. Instead of altering backbone weights, PILOT employs a lightweight Hyper-Network to synthesize a query-conditioned Latent Guidance. This vector acts as an internal steering mechanism, guiding the model’s representations toward optimal reasoning paths. Extensive experiments on mathematical and coding benchmarks demonstrate that PILOT effectively stabilizes reasoning trajectories, consistently outperforming strong baselines (e.g., +8.9% on MATH500) with negligible inference latency. Our code is available at: https://anonymous.4open.science/r/PILOT-B266

Embodied navigation is a fundamental capability of embodied intelligence, enabling robots to move and interact within physical environments. However, existing navigation tasks primarily focus on predefined object navigation or instruction following, which significantly differs from human needs in real-world scenarios involving complex, open-ended scenes. To bridge this gap, we introduce a challenging long-horizon navigation task that requires understanding high-level human instructions and performing spatial-aware object navigation in real-world environments. Existing embodied navigation methods struggle with such tasks due to their limitations in comprehending high-level human instructions and localizing objects with an open vocabulary. In this paper, we propose NavA^3, a hierarchical framework divided into two stages: global and local policies. In the global policy, we leverage the reasoning capabilities of Reasoning-VLM to parse high-level human instructions and integrate them with global 3D scene views. This allows us to reason and navigate to regions most likely to contain the goal object. In the local policy, we have collected a dataset of 1.0 million samples of spatial-aware object affordances to train the NaviAfford model (PointingVLM), which provides robust open-vocabulary object localization and spatial awareness for precise goal identification and navigation in complex environments. Extensive experiments demonstrate that NavA^3 achieves SOTA results in navigation performance and can successfully complete long-horizon navigation tasks across different robot embodiments in real-world settings, paving the way for universal embodied navigation. The dataset and code will be made available.

Paraphrasing as Zero-shot Translation with Feature-guided Diversity Enhancement

Ziyue Yan, Hongying Zan, Xinglin Lyu Zhengzhou University, Hongfei Xu Zhengzhou University

Paraphrasing uses different words, sentence structures, or expressions to convey similar semantics. It is an effective training data augmentation method to improve low-resource Natural Language Processing (NLP) tasks. Existing studies normally leverage parallel corpora to construct parabanks, regarding the Machine Translation (MT) results of source sentences as the paraphrases of the corresponding target sentences. As MT models are usually trained on the same parallel corpus, translation of the training set may suffer from overfitting, which leads to less diverse paraphrases. Training paraphrasers on the parabank generated via MT may also suffer from the information loss issue, as the parabank is derived from the parallel corpora, and the knowledge inside the parabank is a subset of that inside the parallel corpora. In this paper, we train bidirectional Multilingual Neural Machine Translation (MNMT) on the bi-directional bilingual parallel corpus, and use the MNMT model directly as a paraphrasing model by asking it to generate “translations” of the input language. As some source tokens also appear in the translation in the parallel corpus, we introduce “copy”/“not-copy” tags to indicate the existence/non-existence of source tokens in the target translation during training, and use the “not-copy” tag to encourage paraphrasing during inference. Manual and automatic evaluation results show that our ParaMNMT method can generate paraphrases of higher semantic consistency, literal fluency and sentential diversity compared to existing parabanks and LLMs. Our data augmentation experiments verify the effectiveness of ParaMNMT on improving low-resource NLP tasks.

Causal-ESC: Reliable Policy Learning for Emotional Support Conversation via Causal Inference

Xv Wang, Wang Zhenyu South China University of Technology, Guanyu Zheng South China University of Technology, Rui Zhang Huya Inc

While Large Language Models (LLMs) have significantly advanced the fluency of Emotional Support Conversation (ESC) systems, current research predominantly focuses on engineering increasingly complex architectures—from intricate reasoning chains to multi-agent collaborations. While these advancements (e.g., CoT) offer semantic traces of reasoning, they remain mechanistically opaque, obscuring the fundamental causal mechanisms between dialogue features and effective empathic strategies, leading to poor interpretability and susceptibility to distribution shifts in offline learning. To address these limitations, we propose a novel framework Causal-ESC. Departing from conventional paradigms that directly utilize raw dialogue history as input, our approach introduces Doubly Robust (DR) learning to explicitly model the causal effect of utterance features on strategy selection, effectively mitigating the biases and counterfactual unobservability inherent in offline datasets. We further integrate an LLM-based stylized rewriting mechanism to translate these rigorously learned causal strategies into natural, context-consistent responses. Comprehensive experiments, supported by statistical verification (e.g., Outcome R^2) and human-like evaluation, demonstrate that our framework not only significantly outperforms state-of-the-art baselines in empathy and helpfulness but also provides a theoretically grounded, interpretable solution to the mechanistic interpretability dilemma in affective computing.

Automating scientific discovery requires more than generating papers from ideas. Real research is iterative: hypotheses are challenged from multiple perspectives, experiments fail and inform the next attempt, and lessons accumulate across cycles. Existing autonomous research systems often model this process as a linear pipeline: they rely on single-agent reasoning, stop when execution fails, and do not carry experience across runs. We present AutoResearchClaw, a multi-agent autonomous research pipeline built on five mechanisms: structured multi-agent debate for hypothesis generation and result analysis, a self-healing executor with a \textsc{Pivot}/\textsc{Refine} decision loop that transforms failures into information, verifiable result reporting that prevents fabricated numbers and hallucinated citations, human-in-the-loop collaboration with seven intervention modes spanning full autonomy to step-by-step oversight, and cross-run evolution that converts past mistakes into future safeguards. On ARC-Bench, a 25-topic experiment-stage benchmark, AutoResearchClaw outperforms AI Scientist v2 by 54.7%. A human-in-the-loop ablation across seven intervention modes reveals that precise, targeted collaboration at high-leverage decision points consistently outperforms both full autonomy and exhaustive step-by-step oversight. We position AutoResearchClaw as a research amplifier that augments rather than replaces human scientific judgment. Code is available at https://github.com/aiming-lab/AutoResearchClaw.
