Enforcing prescribed global integral constraints in mesh-free neural PDE solvers is challenging in high-dimensional domains. Existing projection methods for spatial integrals are often tied to fixed grids or uniform quadrature, which can conflict with randomly sampled physics-informed neural networks (PINNs) and scale poorly with dimension. High-order differential operators also increase reverse-mode automatic differentiation memory costs. We propose Stochastic Dimension Implicit Functional Projection (SDIFP), a quadrature-level framework for enforcing prescribed first and second spatial moments. SDIFP replaces tensor-product nodal projection by a global affine correction of the neural-network output, with two scalar coefficients determined from a weighted quadrature rule. Under positive target variance and nonzero empirical raw variance, this correction is the nearest-point projection, in the weighted quadrature norm, onto the empirical two-moment constraint set. Thus, the prescribed moments are exact for the selected quadrature rule, while continuum errors are quadrature errors of the corrected field. For decomposable high-dimensional linear operators, SDIFP combines affine moment correction with stochastic operator-subset sampling. With independent residual and derivative sampling and conditionally unbiased coefficient-gradient estimation, the resulting estimator is unbiased for the specified quadrature-based residual objective; the shared-subset fast mode is biased in general. SDIFP avoids tensor-product quadrature for moment enforcement, separates forward quadrature evaluation from the reverse-mode graph, and retains pointwise inference efficiency once the affine coefficients are fixed or precomputed.
Anti-jamming capability is of paramount importance in modern wireless communications, yet conventional receivers are severely constrained by their fixed array geometries, which limit the available spatial degrees of freedom and leave performance highly susceptible to strong interference. By contrast, movable antennas (MAs) provide additional spatial degrees of freedom through antenna-position optimization. This paper investigates MA-enabled anti-jamming by jointly optimizing the antenna-position vector (APV) and receive beamformer to maximize the output signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR). For the canonical setting with a single jammer and a single line-of-sight (LoS) propagation path on the legitimate link, we develop a damped projected-gradient descent (DPGD) algorithm with low computational complexity, which scales linearly with the number of receive MAs. We establish a generic active strict-saddle landscape for the resulting steering-coherence minimization problem and prove that DPGD converges almost surely to a local minimizer rather than merely to a Karush-Kuhn-Tucker (KKT) point. For the general setting with multiple channel paths on the legitimate link and/or multiple jammers, we derive an equivalent ridge least-squares formulation and develop a low-complexity soft-active projected-gradient (SAPG) algorithm, which also scales linearly with the number of receive MAs. We further show that the proposed antenna position optimization framework applies to both minimum variance distortionless response (MVDR) and zero-forcing (ZF) reception. Numerical results validate the proposed algorithms, demonstrating substantial gains in both anti-jamming performance and computational efficiency.

Federated Learning (FL) allows devices with private data to collaborate in training a shared model. We present a next-generation FL system based on Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) that addresses operational challenges associated with earlier systems and provides externally verifiable central Differential Privacy (DP) guarantees for the first time while offering a better privacy-utility tradeoff. In our system, devices upload data encrypted with keys managed by a TEE-hosted Key Management Service (KMS). The uploaded data is cryptographically tied to a policy limiting the set of Python programs that may later process the data in server-side TEEs. External parties may inspect public transparency logs to observe the set of workloads allowed by these policies. Our experimental results show that the new system improves device coverage and favorably shifts privacy-utility curves by enabling collected data to be integrated into the server-side workload at a schedule that optimizes DP guarantees and is unaffected by device availability. Our new system has been productionized, enabling models for the Android Keyboard (Gboard) to be trained faster and achieve better accuracy under smaller, now externally verifiable privacy budgets in comparison to models trained using the prior system.

AI Memory, specifically how models organizes and retrieves historical messages, becomes increasingly valuable to Large Language Models (LLMs), yet existing methods (RAG and Graph-RAG) primarily retrieve memory through similarity-based mechanisms. While efficient, such System-1-style retrieval struggles with scenarios that require global reasoning or comprehensive coverage of all relevant information. In this work, We propose Mnemis, a novel memory framework that integrates System-1 similarity search with a complementary System-2 mechanism, termed Global Selection. Mnemis organizes memory into a base graph for similarity retrieval and a hierarchical graph that enables top-down, deliberate traversal over semantic hierarchies. By combining the complementary strength from both retrieval routes, Mnemis retrieves memory items that are both semantically and structurally relevant. Mnemis achieves state-of-the-art performance across all compared methods on long-term memory benchmarks, scoring 93.9 on LoCoMo and 91.6 on LongMemEval-S using GPT-4.1-mini.

Recently, AI-driven interactions with computing devices have advanced from basic prototype tools to sophisticated, LLM-based systems that emulate human-like operations in graphical user interfaces. We are now witnessing the emergence of Computer-Using Agents (CUAs), capable of autonomously performing tasks such as navigating desktop applications, web pages, and mobile apps. However, as these agents grow in capability, they also introduce novel safety and security risks. Vulnerabilities in LLM-driven reasoning, with the added complexity of integrating multiple software components and multimodal inputs, further complicate the security landscape. In this paper, we present a systematization of knowledge on the safety and security threats of CUAs. We conduct a comprehensive literature review and distill our findings along four research objectives: (i) define the CUA that suits safety analysis; (ii) categorize current safety threats among CUAs; (iii) propose a comprehensive taxonomy of existing defensive strategies; (iv) summarize prevailing benchmarks, datasets, and evaluation metrics used to assess the safety and performance of CUAs. Building on these insights, our work provides future researchers with a structured foundation for exploring unexplored vulnerabilities and offers practitioners actionable guidance in designing and deploying secure Computer-Using Agents.

Despite strong medical benchmark accuracy, LLMs can exhibit severe multi-turn sycophancy in clinical dialogue, abandoning initial correct diagnosis under escalating pressure. We propose Med-Stress, a targeted stress test framework that evaluates belief stability under escalating pressure. Across nine frontier large language models (LLMs), we find a clear dissociation between medical knowledge and robustness: high initial diagnostic capability does not imply high belief stability, yielding large knowledge-robustness gaps for several LLMs. To mitigate this failure mode, we propose a lightweight inference-time defense, RBED (Role-Based Epistemic Defense), and R-FT (Resilience-oriented Fine-Tuning), a training-time approach that internalizes evidence-based resistance to pressure. Experiments show that R-FT nearly eliminates belief change and substantially improves robustness.
